Camellia --- Camellia stepped into throng, the Academy grounds were thriving with nightmares everywhere, this was a very well organised event and Camellia was excited to experience it and get some pointers, she wondered where the organised was, she'd love to talk shop!
She smiled as a group of freshlings ran past her giggling, all clutching some sort of treat, she loved seeing everyone so happy!
She saw a lost looking plushie on the floor, she glanced around for it's owner, she figured she'd keep hold of him till she found who he belonged too, Or else she could donate it to the orphanage at a later date perhaps?

Jarred & Ren Jarred Walked into the grounds he hadn't been here in quite some time, he was excited to be back! He loved what they'd done with the place, the flowers especially he loved the Hunter's jubilee flowers - they made the place smell so good!
Ren stopped him in his euphoria of smells as a Kidden trotted up to his tail, Jarred looked down at it, it was wearing a cute little bowtie (How was a Kidden dressed more fancy than Jarred?) It was seriously cute, he bent down his big claw and tickled it under it's chin. It was really very sweet, and made the tiniest mewing like sounds - Jarred was a sucker for tiny cute things, he crouched down beside it; "Well You're welcome to come with us - I'm Jarred, this is Ren... Now to think of a name for you!"
Nuka stumbled a step as he was bumped into. Turning his head, he opened his mouth to excuse himself. But the kirin ended up speaking first. And what they said… Nuka, unsure what to say, gave an uncertain smile, turning fully around to address the other.
”Fortunately you did,” he said after a moment with a small smile, tilting his head, ears flickering uncertainly. He was used to flirting. Just… not in broad daylight. He watched the gift pass from another nightmare to the kirin, perking up slightly. ”Oh, that’s cute! I’ll have to find me one of those!” he said decidedly before giving a sort of bashful grin.
Sally smoothed the side of her dress feeling a bit uneasy at the playful nature of the pattern. It was black but covered in white music notes. She liked it a lot, but it was just so different then what she normally wore. She had black leggings underneath and thick sole and fuffy topped black boots. It was well… cute.
She walked carefully through the crowd, having to look up to keep away from being under foot and nearly treaded on a gryftoos herself. Ooh dear. “Well, you shouldn’t be there at all,” she muttered and plucked up the dorky thing, holding it carefully.
There was games up ahead, perhaps she should start there and work her way towards the food. As she came closer, she noticed a friend and beamed brightly. “Eirian! You are looking dashing.”
Familiar notes- no more familiars for Sally this event
Rayleigh followed his fathers, clutching the large book to his chest like a life line as he glanced around at all the people. So many people and noise. Everyone was being so loud and it was bright and he sort of just wanted to hide underneath a table.
And his dad's were kissing each other again. They were doing that a lot more often today, and so was everyone else... was it part of the event? He hadn't paid all that much attention when told outside of thinking about what book to bring.
And now all he wanted to do was find some spot to curl up and read and ohhh. Those were some big plushies. He reached up to snag one of their sleeves, nodding towards the plushies and grinned as he was bought a bunyip plush. It was just sooo big.
He managed to wrangle his dad's long enough to get the plush set into a corner and flopped on it, opening his book. He was good. They could do things. Like make out... without him around.
Plush! Score Rayleigh designated roller: 7

Reece loved festivals. It was always fun to mingle, win prizes, and just do something different for once. Reece had come with some friends but being the neanderthals they are they had already ditched Reece to go try and woo some ladies and get dates. That's the price you pay for surrounding yourself with all male friends.
Per usual with these street fairs there were booths for blocks. While making her way through the crowd she saw a familiar figure. She'd know that pink hair and blue skin anywhere. "LIV!" Reece called out over the crowd. Not waiting for a response she darted over embracing her in an awkward side hug since Liv wasn't the type to ever hug you back.
Lilly jumped as something suddenly grabbed her leg. Looking down and ready to dart, she saw it wasn’t a something but rather a someone. Jane. Her shoulders slumped in relief, breathing out a held in breath. She had screamed… but it had only been a whisper of air.
”J-Jane,” she began, grinning. ”You scared me!” she whispered excitedly. Lilly thought it was rather funny how spooked she had gotten, now that the incident was past. She felt a tugging on her hand as Birkita tried to get away. Her eyes brightened. These two haven’t met before! ”This is Birkita, Jane. She’s my roommate,” she breathed, grinning and looking over to the uncomfortable hybrid.
Birkita really, really, really wanted her hand released. But Lilly had a death grip, refusing to relinquish her appendix. Growling, she contemplated kicking Lilly. Too bad she still didn’t know how to faze out on will. Not that she could very well, even when it was an accident. A drawback of being a hybrid.
She saw the weirdo approaching before the girl latched onto Lilly. Hair covering her face, crawling on the ground, Birkita found many similarities between the weirdo and monsters in her horror books. It gave her goosebumps; she could never have the light out for a few days after reading those sorts of books.
When Lilly introduced them, Birkita stared at this new girl. Jane. Who was scowling at her. Irked, she scowled back. What was her problem?! ”You have a friend here now, Lilly. Let me go.” she demanded.
Were they flirting back with them?! Soleil’s grin got impossibly wider. The night was just beginning but they had already found someone almost as nearly as interesting as themselves. The kirin leaned back on one of the stalls, mindful of their hair. ”I’m sure glad I did,” they hummed, looking them up and down appreciatively. ”What’s your name, cutie? Mine’s Soliel, although you can call me anything you’d like,” they gave the grimm a wink, tossing their hair back. Soleil would have no issue calling them cutie all night but most, in her experience, fit that description. They liked to differentiate from one cutie to another. Names were perfect for that. Unless they had the same name. Soleil had never encountered that issue before. Fortunately.
Their gaze went to the Vespercat plush in their hands. Honestly, Soleil was never one to collect stuffed animals. The only purpose they served was pleasing their bed mates. They looked at the grimm and offered the plush. ”You’ve already found one. Take it.” They laughed. ”It seems much more fitting for someone as precious as you.”
The stall owner gave her an unsure look before outstretching their hand with a boa. With a thanks, Soleil draped it across their shoulders. ”Now we’re matching.” Well, besides colour. Schematics weren’t important.
Danny glanced over the games as he walked through the event, more content to browse then do much of anything. He idly licked a patch of melting snow cone from his hand, faintly tasting the blueberry syrup it had been favored with. They melted so fast and lost flavor as well. He wasn't sure why he had broken down and bought it but he had.
He faintly wish he could just taste the pure blueberry syrup not water down with ice shards and growing puddle of ice water. It might possibly be leaking but the wax paper seemed to be holding up decently. He probably should toss it soon.
Vega waved to a classmate as he saw someone he knew grabbing some punch. He was about to go and say hi, but something dropped in front of his face. He blinked at the pink heart wisp, then smiled. "Trying to tell me something, hm?" He reached out and cupped his hands together. The wisp floated just above his palms.
Nashira really liked dancing. She swayed her hips to the music, slipping in and out between the couples that were dancing. She didn't know anyone, and Ares likely wouldn't be here. Well, she was used to being alone most of the time, so this was ok. She turned around and stared in confusion as she was face to face with an adorable specterfox plushie. She took the offered plush and gently hugged it. She was about to thank the person who handed it to her, but they had slipped away to give someone else a plushie.
In front of her though, she spotted an uncomfortable looking junior. She walked over to where the younger student was and tried to think of something to say. "...The green is really bright." Well that was fantastic...
There were 2 things about these events that Meadow could count on. There would be plushies, and there would be candy. He grinned as he got a bag of colorful candies, quickly opening them and popping one in his mouth.
Mallory:
Hmmm. This wasn't nearly as lively as he'd been hoping. Where were all the partiers? This was so... mundane. He sighed and pushed his hair out of his face before spotting a goblin with a snocone. He gave an impish grin as he approached the stranger. "Hey can I have a lick?" He asked brazenly. Sure he had a bag of candy he could munch on, but this was more fun.
Shaddaling
Claire:
"You remember me!" Claire was happily surprised. "It's good to see you again. Are you here with someone?" She asked, smiling happily. She didn't see anyone around Baum who looked to want his attention right now, but maybe he had a date somewhere near by. She didn't want to keep him if he did. "Are you enjoying yourself?" She asked before someone pressed a bag of candy into her hand. "... You want a candy?"
Nasaiki
Sphinx:
She was ready to PARTY! Sphinx was here with out her brothers and sisters, without her parents. She could only squeal in glee that she was here and free from being told not to do something. No one was watching her. Mwa ha ha. What should she do first? She was looking around, then spotted a tall dryad. Then again, everyone was tall to the freshling. The hybrid ran over to where he was standing and... oh! He had leaves on his legs! She couldn't help but start to bat at them. She hadn't even gotten into her candy yet, and she was already feeilg super energized.

I'm sorry Sisal. (Not sorry)
Xenon:
"Why are we here?" Xenon sighed. Quill had dragged him out of the apartment to this festival. He had usually made it a point to stay IN for the Hunters Jubilee, but Quill was having none of that it seemed. He looked at the plushie he'd been given when he walked in the door and wondered what he'd be doing with this. Maybe Chidori would like it?
Quill:
"You looked like you needed a break. You can't spend your whole life in front of the screen. Come on, mingle! Make some off line friends!" Before his friend could protest, he cut him off. "I know you've met a few people from the internet, but meet them face to face first!" Xenon rolled his eyes and turned away. Quill grinned and threw a boa around his shoulders. "Time to be fabulous, Xenon."
Eirian turned when they heard their name. A smile came easy at the sight of their friend. "Sally!" They chuckled while wrapping their new boa around their neck. "I know, right? Best prize I could have won." Eirian took a moment to take in Sally's appearence and nodded. "You look good too. I love the dress."
A bump on their head distracted Eirian for a moment. There floating beside them was a Rammykin. "Hello to you too." They patted the creature on the flank before turning back to Sally. "Have you been here long? I only just arrived in time to play a round of this game. I'm afraid I'm not very good at it."
SnowLily was happy to be going to the festival grounds, she was in a group of about 5 other freshlings accompanied by a chaperone.
Entering the grounds were the festival was set up, looking around it seemed to her that everywhere she looked was some sort of booth, tent, food place, games or tables set up. Walking about were those giving out things like balloons, trinkets and drinks. It was amazing to see!
Holding the hand of her chaperone, SnowLily was looking around and did not see the Imp walking by with some sort of treat in the hands and of course being her normal self, SnowLily tripped over her own feet causing the Imp to fall and spill her tray all over the ground. Crying she said "I am so sorry, I am clumsy!" and began to help clean up the mess she made.
The Imp just smiled and reached over on the tray grabbed the last treat there and handed it to SnowLily. Got up off the ground, picked up the ruined treats and walked off with a soft giggle.
Stella went around watching and keeping an eye out for what she was searching for, but no luck! however as she searched someone stopped her and coxed her to play a game, she won a constellation prize! witch was a pretty and surprisingly soft boa. Belladona 14 - even she stopped for a moment to sit down at a table, but before she new it some one approached her and offered her some candy, she gratefully accepted and took some yummy candy bark.
