Kingston just smiled at her. "Well, I hope you're not allergic to me. That would be sad, cause I'm fantastic." He was hoping to make her smile. When she asked about the broadcast, his ears twitched. "Of course I heard the broadcast. however we don't have a whole lot of information. And even with what that X person said, how much can we say is true? I think it's silly to get worked up now when we don't know what's really coming. When the proverbial s**t hits the fan, then I'll panic." Or not. He really didn't know. Maybe he'd tuck tail and run, maybe he'd try to bite that X character. He had no way of knowing what the future would bring.

"So you're looking for your friends, Flax and Calie?" he said gently. Then he pointed over to Vanna. "That's my friend Vanna. The tall Chimera. He's sort of hard to lose in the crowd. Not sure who that is he's talking to." And of course he was curious. "You want to come meet Vanna and his friend? You both look like you could use being around some friends." He offered his hand to Coco. "And maybe the 4 of us can look for your friends, and we can try and find our other friends too." He didn't want to get into there being safety in numbers and all that stuff, because he didn't want her to worry again.

The auditorium was really much too full. Eirian was trying their best not to trip over freshlings or bump into anyone. They were not, however, on the look out for toys on the ground. One misplaced foot and Eirian's normally gliding stride was put off beat and they tumbled forward.

Right into a chimera hybrid. "Sorry!" Eirian chimed while taking a step back. "I guess it's hard not to bump into anyone with such tight quarters."

Joephi had been closing the distance between herself and an adult with an ice bucket of chilling water bottles. They either hadn't heard her or couldn't see her for the crowd, but confound those elusive water bottles! Pausing to consider her options, perhaps hunting down the source and not just someone carrying some around, she huffed her frustration. A tap to her shoulder drew her from slipping too deeply into that train of thought. Turning around, she peered up at the older Daydream whom had caught up with her. Huh, what a neat accent! The naiad looked to the offered plush and beamed up at the giver. "Oh, thank you," She chimed as she accepted the plush, tucking the toy into the collar of her sweater. "That's really cool. Do you need any help? I wanna help, if I can!"

When asked about her needs, some wind left her proverbial sails. "Ah, yes. I've been trying to get some water. My throat feels dry and I haven't been having any luck flagging down anyone with water. Though, I wonder if I've been trying to get the attention of people bringing water to their own friends, family, or kids in their care. Hm." Shaking her head, Joephi ruffled her fluffy blonde mohawk. "I wouldn't be taking you away from what you're doing, would I? Considering what all's going on, you seem like you'd be a welcome sight for many folks in here."

Coco was wearing a panda onsie as her Hallowseve costume, she was still confused why Kingston and Vanna were making such a fuss about her. She had never had a family and she wasn't sure if she had a family yet, Calie was wonderful, but their relationship was so new and could end at the drop of a hat after all, Calypso was so beautiful and Coco was just a plain little demon. Coco hid her face in her hood wanting to cry again. Coco shook her head and said softly "No I think your tail just tickled my nose when you wiped my tears away.." Coco peeked out of her hood at Kingston she did believe they would panic even as he said when the s**t hit the fan. "I don't think you'll panic." She said softly "You brave.." In her head, she added unlike me. Coco shook her head and said "I don't know if they were anywhere near the festival, so if they aren't in this building they aren't here." She said sadly. It was clear they didn't want to leave Coco by herself, Coco still didn't understand she wasn't this important. So why were Kingston and Vanna so adamant that she needed to come with them?? She didn't want to cause trouble so she nodded "Ok." She said softly getting up to follow Kingston and Vanna.

Foras had to admit that this crowd had a way of getting to his nerves. He kept scanning the crowd, watching in case anyone turned violent. He liked to think people would stay calm, but well in a situation like this he couldn't blame some people for getting heated. At the moment though, it was mostly just panic as people tried too get in touch with their loved ones. He heard some mentions of zombies and vampires, but he only rolled his eyes. Those were just stories. He wasn't totally sold on the whole 'cannibal' thing just yet.

He was listening to Ganymede and nodding along, but kept his eyes wandering. Before he knew it Gany had let go of his hand, but before he could protest his arm went around him instead. Oh, that was actually better! In any other situation this would be just the perfect time to tell him how he really felt, but this was just not the time of the place. Instead he wrapped his own arm Around Gany's shoulder and held him close.

"I imagine I would have found a microphone somewhere to find you if you got lost. Rules, shmules." Foras laughed a bit, trying to ease his own tension, and Gany's, with a little light humor. He wasn't sure if it would really help or not, but at least he was trying. "I wonder how long we'll be stuck in here...." This was the Academy after all, surely they wouldn't run out of supplies that quickly, he was more worried about how long the order, how little there was at the moment, was going to last.

It took everything in Lilo's power not to laugh at the little outburst the Kumiho had. Instead Lilo opted to lean in and pat the adorable child on the head. "I like your fire, kid. You're alright in my book. Want to hang around us for awhile? If those guys manage to get in here we'll kick their asses! I'm Lilo, by the way."

The Baphomet looked back and forth between the two that had gathered near them. Not bad for a little ragtag team of misfits. What were they supposed to do now? Sit and talk about their feelings? The thought itself made Lilo cringe. Maybe they could find some games to play or even better something that could be used as weapons just in case something bad went down. No that wouldn't work either.

The whispering of the other team member snapped Lilo out of their thoughts. "Nah it looks like he'll only scream at me, which is nice. Means he won't start another panic among the others. So...should we try and find something to do? Or do you want to just sit around and twiddle your fingers? 'Cause we don't really know how long we're going to be stuck in here..."

Hopefully everything would blow over soon and they'd be able to get on with their normal lives.

Raa had been so focused on guiding Ella through the crowd to Ava that he had hardly noticed the tiny leopard print imp wander up to them, his aqua coloured eyes blinking down at the smaller child as they tugged on their --- oh! Sibling! At first, Raa had thought maybe they were a random, frightened child looking for help. But, if this was Ella's sibling ...

The boy kneeled down, gently offering his hands to the child, keeping his tail coiled around Ella's. "Hello," he started softly. "My name is Raa ... and yes, Ella is a good friend of mine. What's your name?"

It's gotten a little quieter here. Perhaps it's the fact Ava has been roaming around, trying to ensure each and every person there will be safe. Maybe it's the teachers that keep arriving, attempting to settle the young ones and pass out food. Either way, there's a sense of calm over the academy, for now.

Ava, in an attempts to calm the students and those visiting, has opened the doors to the auditorium, allowing those who attend the academy access to the dorm floors. While other parts of the academy are sealed, students and friends may now access their dorms and rest. It seems she still wishes to keep everyone in sight, so the rest of the school cannot be accessed.

Annabelle, the head caretaker, has offered to set up a game for the freshlings to distract themselves with. Mink has set up a little table for juniors and seniors to help make bracelets with her. Right now, the focus is on making sure the students stay happy and content as Ava tries to contact outside authority for information.

For those that need a little more reassurance, Kirket has set up a small circle in the back of the auditorium for worried students to come speak with him and each other to gain reassurance.
