Aile would quickly react when she saw the building begin to topple and threw out yet another Pokeball. "Arkana! Forget your Illusion this time and use Agility to get those people out! Kayvaan, help her out as well!"

The frog and the fox would both dart out, the latter only being visible for a mere second before becoming a black and red blur and grabbed the mother and daughter. Kayvaan would use his sticky tongue to grab the HAZARD soldier and bring him away from the building as well.

"We're looking at the readings here my boy," Cozmo says, "And you fellows are coming in at a pretty good pace, there seems to be a large cool zone in the middle of the rocket that's helping contain it from shaking apart, you're coming in very fast though, but you seem to be on target for the ocean right outside Mossdeep we can't be sure of your trajectory yet. Is there some way you can slow the rocket down from up there so we can get a team out into the ocean to help you when you get closer?"

Up on the rocket, Lykas' genius ice core was keeping the hull with the hole from shaking itself apart, but he was going to need to constantly keep it cold or the ice and water was going to boil itself out of it. The controls in Isaac's hands begins shifting massively without his consent suddenly, and there's an audible clang from outside the shuttle. A stabilizer fin on the outside of the rocket seems to have bent from the force of reentry and will probably need to be fixed, but it needed to be done either from the inside or someone was going to have to crawl out during reentry.

Grabbing the stick with both hands, Isaac wrestled with the stick, trying desperately to keep the ship on a stable descent. The screen displaying the ship's status lit up with a red icon, displaying the extent of the damage reentry had done to the stabilizer fin. Muttering a curse, Isaac called back to the remaining people in the cockpit, "Guys, we have another problem. One of the stabilizer fins is bent. If someone can do something to straighten that out, we won't spiral out of control. Also, can anyone with psychic abilities, or something of the like, slow our descent somewhat. We are still coming in too hot." Glancing at the copilot console next to him, Isaac wished for a third hand momentarily, before calling out to his Pokemon. "Porygon, transmit our projected trajectory to control. Keep updating the feed with our current position and speed." Suddenly, he was hit with an idea, almost letting go of the frantically jerking control stick. Grabbing down harder with a new found determination, he called out for his Porygon once more. "Extend the landing gear, and any other flaps on the ship. The extra drag should help slow us down, and if we are heading for the water we won't need them for the landing."

As Tristen and I continued to sort through the rubble, and hopefully avoiding catastrophes as those such as Kaya, Amaranth, Aile and Sol was trying to circumvent. This place was all levels of unstable. Foundations have been rocked to their core with the chaos those three goons of Ein caused here.

"Hey." Freth spoke up. She broke off temporarly to go back to retrieve our things from where we left them in the middle of the fight with the Zapdos Hybrid. "Here..." Freth said, lobbing my vest and shirt balled up to me, hitting me almost like a medicine ball. "God..." I furled out the shirt in particular, seeing it drenched from the rains Miror B. let loose earlier. I gave my shirt a hard twist, wringing out a good portion of the water and did the same with the vest then eventually put them back on. "...this has been a freakin' long day."

"Tell me about it." Tristen spoke up. "Why do people do this?" Tristen asked.

"I don't know. Stupid reasons, to be sure at the very least." Freth then said.

"Seriously." I then took notice to something, not really sure as to what. A odd feeling in the air. Couldn't place it. Felt really far, though. I started to look up slightly and around, trying to place that feeling.

"What's wrong Blizz?" Tristen asked.

"Yea, you're staring out in space." Freth said.

I then got a general feel of it, but I really could see nothing at the moment. "Freth, you got your binoculars on you?" I asked.

"Yea? Something up?"

"I don't know..." Freth took her pack, rummaged in it a bit, then pulled out a set of binoculars.

"You know, I wish you would get yourself a pair so you could quit asking for mine. I mean, honestly."

"Get a pair for me for Christmas or something." I said, looking out into the distance up towards the sky. As I started looking, trying to get the binoculars to zoom in as far as I could, I did make out something out of the ordinary. Though even with as close as I could get it, only thing I could see was a tiny somewhat glowing speck.

"What is it, Blizz?" Tristen spoke up.

"...I hope that really isn't what I think that is..." I said. I started to look around again on the island, then looked towards the Launch center, feeling a strong presence in there. A familiar one. "I wonder if that's Aden in there..." I said, taking out my SNAG and started to signal off for him. "Aden, is that you in the launch center? Are you anywhere near where you can find out what's going on with that rocket?" I asked.

Grabbing the stick with both hands, Isaac wrestled with the stick, trying desperately to keep the ship on a stable descent. Sub didn't say anything, he just nodded at Isaac and tossed out two Pokeballs, re-releasing Gardy and Ulalume. "Use your telekinesis to try and pull against the rocket's trajectory and hopefully slow it down." He told the two Psychics. Gardy immediately went to work, closing her eyes and focusing on the vessel around her, trying to get a mental grip on it and pull it. Ulalume took a little while longer, worn out from earlier. Nonetheless the squid did the best it could as she too went to work.

Requiem of Whyspers
Lykas could feel the water in the chamber he'd flooded heating up around him and it triggered an immediate reaction. Calling out his Milotic for the third time already, he communicated as rapidly as possible that they needed a near constant supply of ice. Nuregami got the idea and began to charge his Ice Beam, aiming for the walls. This time, the layers of ice built up into massive, several inch thick barricades against the walls in a matter of moments, which Nuregami would work to reinforce as necessary

Back on the ground, Kaya heard the little girl from earlier scream and, without even thinking, rushed to her aide. He'd throw his metal body between the HAZARD agent shielding them and the building. Calling out several of his Pokemon, he issued orders in a hurry.

"Josephine, Fairy Wind! Sora, Afreda; Double Reflect on me. Primrose, can you still use Silver Wind? Anael, can you actually use Twister? I've never thought to ask." He commanded rapidly. He'd need that doubled-up Reflect if it came to shielding these people with his body. Not far off, he could see Odd's Shedinja watching over him with Doc Owl. "Come here! I need your help!" He shouted over. "Aim your Ominous Wind at that building, help us push it!"

Cadenza, hearing the call for aid, rushed to Kaya's side. With the sixe combined, Kaya braced himself against the inevitable fall. He would be playing catch in a matter of seconds if this failed. His Sylveon, in spite of her Shadowified state waved her ribbons in insistent circles, blowing a howling, glittering gale towards he falling building, joined by the shrieking wails of the winds of death provided by Odd's Shedinja. These were joined by the sparkling, silent tornado blown forward by his Leavanny, though it was uneven and broken regularly in her attempts to recall how to use such a technique and the roaring typhoon of draconian winds born from his Togekiss' wings. All of this aimed at that building, he hoped would push it aside while his Klefki and Carbink piled layer after layer of Reflect onto his body in an effort to raise his durability so that he might better survive his attempt at catching a falling building.
Tesei Utakata

Kaya would find a new batch of assistance as something resembling a piece of solid iron slammed into the side of the building, silvery energy flickering around the thing's arms as it attempted to push against the build. Dista looked over her shoulder towards the trio of people endangered by the building she was helping to intercept to watch for her current partner in crime. Beau wasn't one to disappoint, streaking through the air himself to grab and move the mother and child out of the building's path, using the energy he had built up in his dive to try and take the pair away. Behind him, his Fletchinder would sweep up the H.A.Z.A.R.D. trooper to take away from the Snagems' efforts to stop or at least stall the building collapse.

Kaya stood inbetween the frightened girl and certain death yet again, and came just in time, the reinforcing of the building by Twister, Ominous Wind, and the double Reflects giving the Klefki hybrid just enough give to hold the building up for a brief instant, saving the girl and her mother again as the weight of the building shoves his metal feet into the ground, digging out holes in the ground where they stood pushing him backwards slowly as the building crumbles around him. The little girl gives a shriek of amazement at the fact that the Klefki hybrid has now saved her not once but twice, tears springing to her eyes as Beau whisks her and her mother out of the path of total destruction. "No!" she screams, looking back at Kaya for a second before the building finishes coming down. "Noooo!" Arkana, Xatu and Togekiss manage to move the other random people out of direct harm, and between the Fletchinder and Kayavaa's efforts pull the HAZARD trooper out of the way all because Kaya had bought them just enough time. Luckily for our plucky Klefki hybrid, the building mostly crumbles down around him rather than crushing him completely thanks to lowering a lot of the momentum early in addition to protecting himself with Reflects, but a building still had fallen on top of him so he wasn't going to be in the best shape, surrounded by rocks and broken glass underneath the fallen frame of the complex. There probably wasn't a ton of air under all that rubble though.

Isaac Hawking

Grabbing the stick with both hands, Isaac wrestled with the stick, trying desperately to keep the ship on a stable descent. The screen displaying the ship's status lit up with a red icon, displaying the extent of the damage reentry had done to the stabilizer fin. Muttering a curse, Isaac called back to the remaining people in the cockpit, "Guys, we have another problem. One of the stabilizer fins is bent. If someone can do something to straighten that out, we won't spiral out of control. Also, can anyone with psychic abilities, or something of the like, slow our descent somewhat. Reno watched as the controls went haywire on Isaac, the sudden jerking and uncontrollable movements telling Reno that this was a mechanical issue. Moving towards one of the windows, he spied the bent stabilizer and came to two conclusions: Going outside to manually fix it would be suicide and that his one method of using his Kadabra to fix the fin would be unsuccessful due to lack of power behind the telekinesis. Opening his Pokeball and releasing the Kadabra anyways, Reno placed a hand on Kaiden's shoulder before going ahead with his third idea. Using the physical contact he had and the mental link he was quick to establish, he vented the majority of his Psychic energy into the Kadabra and gave him a definite image of what the stabilizer would look like once straightened. Feeling his Pokemon drawing on the sudden well of energy he now possessed, Reno watched and waited for what he hoped would occur: The fin bending back into shape against the power of reentry.
This time, the layers of ice built up into massive, several inch thick barricades against the walls in a matter of moments, which Nuregami would work to reinforce as necessary.

A solid core of ice continues to hold the structural integrity of the ship together in one piece, thankfully preventing the metal from becoming so much shrapnel and molten slag from the speed they were reentering the atmosphere, wind whistling outside the rocket ship which is rumbling dangerously as it streaks across the skies outside Mossdeep City. Reno's ministrations to the flap outside of the ship manages to cram the fin back into something resembling a workable state, flipping the ship around suddenly and back into a horizontal position as the wind catches it again. All of the Snagems would feel the ship slowing as Sub worked his Psychic Pokemon's skills, but the rocket was still coming in way too fast. The landing flaps deploy on all sides of the ship, adding more wind resistance but the metal on the outside of the rocket was glowing hotter and hotter despite Sub's best efforts to try and drag this rocket back from the dangerous streak it was carving through the sky, and even though Lykas' had the core frozen in the middle of the rocket, regulating the temperature inside the hull there was a very real danger of the rocket exploding into a million pieces on contact with the water if it hit the surface at the speed it was going right now.

Darts clenches a golden hand, frustrated that for all his training there was absolutely nothing he could do to help assist in the landing. The camera crew notices his agitation, and Missy looks around at the other Snagems her already-streaked mascara from silent tears very evident as she looks into the camera held by her mustachioed camera man and voices a thought the rest of them were probably trying to avoid thinking. "Are we going to die?" She whimpers pathetically, almost fearful of the punishment Sub had promised earlier.

"Shut up." Darts growls, getting to his feet with what looked like a herculean effort, pulling himself upright to go and check on the ice core Lykas was currently managing, planning on seeing what he could do to help, and it came not a moment too soon, as another wall around the core ruptures. This forms another gash to the outside as the metal shreds with a horrific screech. The gambler grabs each side of the tear and pulls, the metal crumpling as he tries to force it shut, flames from the outside licking his hands that he handily resisted. But he wasn't going to be able to hold it shut forever, the mere presence of the ice on top of his injuries weakening the Giratina hybrid, his arms shake as he tries to force the metal bits together but he was nowhere near strong enough without tapping into Outrage.

Aden hasn't given confirmation yet, but how many other spaceships were hurtling through space in this part of the country were there? The rocket was glowing hot on all sides, but not completely self-destructing just yet, drawing a white-hot line of smoke and fire across the skyline as it slowly continued its trajectory out into the ocean, but it was looking like it was moving awful fast to hit the water safely yet...

There probably wasn't a ton of air under all that rubble though.

Kaya grunted loudly as the building made contact with his outstretched arms, fighting to hold the thing up as long as he was able. He was no Hercules, that was sure, and he knew he was only able to do this much because of the efforts of all of the Pokemon who'd been by his side, which he ordered away as soon as the building landed on him. "GO!" He shouted, not just to the Pokemon but to the people behind him. He knew they only had a few seconds to escape before his ability to hold this thing up failed him and he could feel it beginning almost before he caught it. His feet dug deep trenches in the earth as the sheer weight of the building pressed down upon him, though he could hear the various Snagems and their Pokemon rushing to the aide of the people he was fighting to save. He caught sight of the Pokemon, and Beau, he thought, whisking those in danger to safety and as the building crumbled the little girl might catch sight of a smile and perhaps the glint of tears dripping out from under his mask. ~This is it for me. I'm gonna die here.~ He thought, calmly, though it was not a moment of fear for him. In that moment of acceptance, he let his arms relax and felt the building crumble atop him. It hurt for sure but, surprisingly, he hadn't been killed by the sheer weight. Though, with his strength almost completely gone after that stunt he couldn't even fight to try and free himself. And something felt wrong. His head was lighter all of a sudden, and the world seem brighter than normal. He felt something wet trickling down the side of his face, assuming it to be the tears of joy he'd shed when he knew the civilians to be safe a moment before. Whether he had been crushed by the building or died of suffocation under it didn't matter to him. He'd saved peoples' lives here today. His life would not have been meaningless.

What Kaya couldn't see from beneath it was that all he Pokemon who'd been helping him immediately came to his aide, not counting Josephine, who could only stand by and watch for the moment. She just couldn't understand why these others fought so hard to do anything other than destroy and fight so she sat back and watched, her fur bristling from time to time as her instincts told her to attack. This act....intrigued her so, though. Something deep down inside was telling her that it wasn't so bad to not fight and destroy things. She just couldn't understand why.

Lykas could feel the water in his flooded core slipping away in a hurry when the hull tore once again but before he could find it, Darts had come in and was trying to fix it, apparently spotting it as it happened. As he released his Quilava, knowing he wouldn't be able to weld steel on his own once again, a thought came to him. "Sweet Arceus, I just had an idea!" He shouted. "Lux, fix that hole! Use your Lava Plume and plug it up." The Quilava nodded and spat a glob of earthen flame into the tear in the hull, which quickly cooled and turned into a chunk of volcanic glass patching the hole for now.

"Sphynx!" The Luxray in question appeared in the field for the first time in years. "I know you don't battle much since you got poisoned girl but this isn't a battle. I need you to use one of your signature abilities." He told the lynx-like Pokemon, stroking her back lovingly. "I need you to use Magnet Rise and charge this whole room at least. If you can, the whole rocket would be better."

Sphynx gave Lykas a strange look before looking around the rocket, looking through the walls in order to see the scale of what she was doing here. Eventually, she nodded and began to work her magnetic magick, charging the metal floors and walls with just enough electricity to give the place a magnetic charge. To the best of her ability, she would attempt to make the rocket oppose Earth's magnetic field, strengthening it to the best of her skill in order to make the metal canister they were locked inside of try and levitate. Make it slow down at the very least.

Arkana would put the two down once they were a safe distance away from the building, turning around to view it. She'd quickly don her human illusion as she tried to look over to the other side of the recently toppled pile of rubble, growling. "Boss. Boss!" Not hearing anything immediately, the Zoroark began to grow worried. "Oh, I hope she wasn't too- Oh. That works well." She looked up to see Aile on Kayvaan's back high enough in the air, the frog having apparently returned to Aile's side as quickly as he left it.

"Arkana! Kaya needs help down there getting out! Assist the other Pokémon!"

"Right! On it, Boss!" She'd head over to the other Pokémon helping to get Kaya out and assist in moving some of the rubble in any way she could. Meanwhile, Aile would shake her head as she landed.

"That looks so weird, a human in a steampunkish outfit, and in a skirt and heels, helping out a group of Pokémon.... That's one of the reasons why I told her to forget about it." She shook her head as she left Kayvaan's back. "Help them out, too, okay? In fact..." She'd open one final Pokéball, sending out her exhausted Excadrill. "Eisley. Look, I'm sorry, but you can't get your revenge on that poison lady for burning you a while back. She'd gone already, where, I can't say. Hopefully le enfer. But right now, there's something of more immediate concern." She'd point to the pile of rubble. "We have a member underneath all that. So, you do what you do best, dig and destroy, and help get him out."

Eisley looked irate that Zera had eluded them, but then turned his head as he listened to his trainer's order. Dig through a mound of rubble and broken building parts to find a member? And possibly break things further in the process within this pile? This didn't sound too bad, and he was itching to use his steel claws after losing his chance to repay Zera. "Ex ka!" He saluted and joined the group of Pokémon for a moment before jumping up and spinning bringing his hands to his head and becoming a drill before landing into the rubble, starting to create a hole down. Arkana would look up from the rubble and glance over at Aile again.

"Ya know, it's a good thing you have this guy, boss... He sure likes his holes."

"He's also venting his anger, too."

"That works."

"Keep ready," Sol spoke up, both to his Xatu and Amaranth. Though the Excadrill seemed to have things handled in the emergency extraction of the team's resident keyring, having further means to ensure Kaya got out alive was a good idea.

---

"What, you mean the giant metal tube that was nosediving into the nearest ocean a couple of seconds ago?" Aden remarked in response, though his tone seemed a little apprehensive. After much earlier events, the idea of using his SNAG at all hadn't sounded like a good one, but at the moment, he figured there wasn't a choice in the matter. "Because it's still coming down kinda fast going by the screen there..."

At least, it was the most he could preen from it at the moment, but he had a feeling the rocket was visible to more than just someone inside Mission Control. Or would be if it wasn't.

---

"No, ma'am, we're going to blast off and leave a rainbow that magically cures any incurable disease you can think of," Cera deadpanned in response to Missy's whimpering, dropping to the floor and bracing herself as she hears the screeching as another part of the rocket ruptures. Seeing Darts struggle to even keep it shut, she started pouring her last ounces of chi into helping the effort. Even so, it was unlikely to do much more than delay the inevitable at this point, though there was at least some help all around.

"I could have lived without the wit." I said.

"Oh my God..." Freth said, reacting more to the fact of the rocket is coming down at a blistering pace.

"Aden, get an estimate where that thing is supposed to crash land at and get back to me." I said, stopping the transmission. I rushed off. "Lisa! Tate! I need ships or something and I need them like yesterday! We got a major problem coming down into the ocean!"

Kaya would eventually managed to be dug out from under the fallen building, bloodied and bruised in spite of all he had done to minimize the damage. He wasn't unconscious just yet but he was bleeding from under his helmet/mask. That might take a little work to treat.

"No, we're not." Sub turned to tell the camera crew. "I promised." He reassured the woman. He then looked towards his Pokemon, he knew good and well that their attempts were not enough, helping they may but it just wasn't enough. The channeler knew he didn't have a healthy amount of chi left to perform any feats safely but this was a life or death situation, maybe it was time to roll the dice.

Sub had paced a hand on Gardy's shoulder, for no real reason at the moment. Second later a flood of images rushed into his mind, visions Gardy was seeing. If nothing happened they would continue to burn up and the remains splash down into the ocean at such an incredible speed that the rocket would explode. There would be no survivors. Gardy had seen the future.

[Pokedex entry: Gardevoir has the ability to read the future. If it senses impending danger to its trainer, this Pokemon is said to unleash its psychokinetic energy at full power.]

"Voir!" Gardy actually shouted in her own voice as her eyes flashed open, glowing a bright pink color. The air around Gardy would become noticeably dense, this effect spreading through out the rest of the shuttle as her new found power began to take hold of the entire shuttle, attempting to slow it down further. Sub began to notice that while Gardy had tapped into an enormous power it was already beginning to show a cost as the veins on her face, especially around her eyes, began to bulge and her green hair began to dull, the color fading away. Gardy was literally using every ounce of energy in her to slow this thing down and save her trainer.

"I could have lived without the wit." I said.

"Oh my God..." Freth said, reacting more to the fact of the rocket is coming down at a blistering pace.

"Give me a bit," Aden said at once, knowing good and well he wasn't going to be able to give an answer like that on his own. Instead, he tried to get to the nearest person he could that might've been able to give an answer without disturbing them more than necessary given the circumstances. "Hey, is there any ETA or something on when that thing's gonna make impact?" He asked.

With every ounce of strength he possessed, Isaac jammed the still fighting stick back as far as it would go. Warning lights and alarms blared from the console, warning of the structural damage the ship was being subjected to as well as the impending collision with the water. The team was pushing themselves to the limit, doing everything they could to hold the ship together and slow the descent towards their doom.

Strangely overcome for a moment, Isaac hailed control, "Cozmo, did it work? Did the cure work? If we are all gonna die up here, at least tell us if we made a difference first."

Finishing with his roughshod repair job on the stabilizer fin, Reno soon felt a second psychic presence hard at work to alter the ship in some fashion. Namely, slowing the vehicle down. Bracing himself with his singular arm, Reno began to quickly connect all of the Psychic Pokemon he could locate the presence of and link them up with Gardy to help power her efforts to halt the spaceship or coordinate the backwards push into a singular effort. With both methods hard at work, Reno pushed his own energy into the mix again with a tug at the back of his head as a slight burning began to emerge in his mind. "Everyone! Drop Psychic types and help us stop this rickshaw or cool down the outside! Either way, I'm making sure we don't die on impact!" Reno roared, strain visible on his face and his eyes as a small amount of blood visibly wet the left shoulder of his coat.
