Wyome Post 5 Wyome gave a smile, feeling slightly guilty, “It’s nothing that you’ve done, so don’t apologize.” She knew Jauhar wasn’t a land full of beasts, though some must have felt that was exactly what the Alkidikes were. She was curious how they had gotten a caravan through the jungles, but that was a question for another time. She brought her eyes back to the leaders and the hybrids they spoke to, curious as she kept an ear out for what they had to say.
“I’ll help the earthlings if it comes to a war,” Wyome didn’t hesitate in answering, “even if I am part Alkidike, I’ve grown up in Tale. They aren’t really my family… that part of my family is dead, probably by extremist hands.” The hybrid paused and covered her mouth, just realizing what she had said. It wasn’t like her to let her emotions get that out of hand. “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to go that far. I, um, are you going to have some place to go if the fighting comes? You said you don’t fight…”Careele Post 4 There were enough voices going back and forth, it was nearly turning into a drone. “That’s a tempting proposition,” he said as he leaned against the tree that she sat against, “Though you may wake up to them still continuing on,” he was only joking, but it truly seemed like they would be there for a while, though it wasn’t for a bad cause… it just seemed to be going nowhere.
“I can’t say I really want to fight the Alkidikes,” maybe it was being weak, but he knew as soon as he saw his friend he wouldn’t be able to fight. But luckily, a distraction came as Antiope and Enki addressed the two males, he had to admit he was surprised. Many of the ones he had met tended to avoid their pure blooded kin, being shunned as outcasts almost immediately, “Do you think the hybrids could really talk sense into their sisters?” he murmured.

(I swear my muse is an angry toddler with ADHD)
Yaholo, post 3
Yaholo paused, his shoulders tensing. Yeah, he hoped that his Sisters wouldn't show up, either. But he knew that they would. These extremists meant business, and they would stop at nothing to get what they wanted. He puckered his lips, leaned his head on top of Ril's, and sighed.
"Baby, I'm not sure if I can hold onto hope much longer." He admitted. "These women will do whatever they want, all we can do is try to stop them and hope for the best. I'm rooting for Sauti in all of this. I have really close friends there and they don't deserve this."
He then looked down to Drexl and blinked, having not heard a thing he'd said.
"Can you... Play?" He asked, shrugging his shoulders. "Sure. Just don't do anything that can get you hurt, babies."
Inali, post 3
Inali frowned. Oh, come on, wrestling? That was too active, and he was sleepy! The youngling crossed his arms and pouted at his brothers.
"I don't want to play tag or wrestle!" He exclaimed, flopping against the couch again. "I want to hear a story and go to sleep!"
Samoset, post 3
Samoset blinked as Lixes attached himself to him and proclaimed that they wrestle, something that was absolutely not in his forte. He opened his mouth, to deny the request, only to jump up as Nimueh started running.
"Nim! Be careful!" He exclaimed, placing Lixes on the ground. "Grampa said not to do something that could get you hurt!"

Rilind Post 3Rilind turned to look over at Yaholo, his green eyes going a bit wide, "Huh?" He wasn't sure if he could hold out hope much longer? It seemed strange to him to hear Yaholo sound as though he were actually hopeless over something. Hugging his arm for a moment he said, "I'm sorry, we will figure something out." He just wasn't sure what it was that they were going to have to figure out. Either they would have to fight against Yaholo's sisters, something Rilind didn't want to happen, or flee again... which he also didn't want since the boys were happy here. "Whatever we have to do we will do, Yaholo. I don't want to see you forced to fight you sisters though. We can retreat again if you would prefer?" He knew that fleeing the last time had been his idea, something that hadn't worked out since they ended up in the way of the extremists anyway. He really wasn't sure at this point what to do. He was used to retreating to save his own skin, but could they continue to do that if the Alkidike were hellbent on conquering the land? They would need to stand and fight eventually if the woman spread far enough. Turning at the sound of one of the babies asking them a question he looked down at them, blinking a couple times, then looked up at Yaholo, "Ahhh, yeah, what your father said... though you might not want to go outside. It might be best to play inside where it's safe." As much as he didn't want to force them all to stay in cramped quarters it might be for the best. Lixes Post 3The blond boy gave a sighing sound as he was put down, watching as his older bother went to hover around Niim, acting as if he was going to get himself hurt. After a long moment of watching him his mismatched eyes suddenly went wide, "Oh my Aisha..." He gasped out, pointing, "Inali! Drexl! Look, look! He's acting just like our Da!" He said, realizing that the way that he was hovering around Nim in the same manner that their red haired father hovered around them, wanting to keep them safe. It was something that almost instantly had the blond boy giggling so hard, as though it were the most amusing thing ever. He couldn't believe it, to see their older brother acting in such a manner. It seemed that the two had been spending too much time together!

Jerami Post 5Jerami's eyes went wide with surprise and awe as he was told that the firebirds were magical. He gave a bit of a gasp when Sathe wiggled her fingers, causing a flurry of sparkles, something that had him clapping his hands together in delight. So they were magical birds then? So that was why the Alkidike wanted them? He supposed that he could understand that... but what if they did turn out to be just normal birds? That wouldn't turn out well, huh? Of course if they did turn out to be magical he found himself with the overwhelming desire to get to meet one of those magical birds. "I'd like to see one of them if their all magical." He said in a thoughtful manner as he looked up at his Aunt Sathe, then over toward his mother and sister, "I think I would want to see one even if they were really just big birds too though." He liked birds, though preferred them to stay at a distance since up close birds could be a bit intimidating given how big they could puff up to be. Leaning back against Sathe he listened to her as she spoke about 'something having to be done' and that if they stopped them that they couldn't pick on people. That was a good thing, right? He just hoped that things got figured out so that they wouldn't have to worry about the bullies coming to pick on people again.

Aysun Post 5Aysun glanced over toward Nkole and Teiluj for a moment, wondering if the two of them were going to actually come over to them or not. He wondered if Nkole would allow it since he wasn't the biggest fan of the two of them. He perked up though when he saw the manner in which Nkole actually waved at them, a sign that maybe he was warming up to them? Possible, which had him smiling just a bit, feeling hopeful. With everything else they were dealing with having at least Nkole perking up was actually nice. Turning back to his brother he blinked a couple times, giving a little snicker when he saw the way that his brother was fluffing up, looking a bit like an angry kinfa. He was tempted to lift a hand to pet him but realized that it might not be a good idea, he looked like he was carrying a charge at the moment. Best not to poke at him when he might end up getting himself zapped in the process. Instead he took a half step back, allowing him to release the energy, while he followed the sprites with his eyes, "Huh? Oh, yeah, toward some girl... that's so weird, why would Awen go to some random girl?" Awen was normally seen clinging to Chandra, so why go toward her? Was she someone she didn't like and meant to fight? Turning to Teiluj he gave a half shrug, "I... am not quite sure. Awen went off to chat at some Leaf girl I've never seen before. I wonder... is she one of your girlfriends, Chandra? Is Awen going to pick a fight?" He asked of his twin. He knew that Awen had been quite upset over Chandra going to visit with that dancer of his, was she feeling the same toward that girl too? It could get interesting if the female sprite meant to fight with the new girl. He only hoped that Flower wouldn't let it come to that. The bright pink sprite flew over to hover next to Awen, looking at the girl that his fellow spirte had come over to. She was... sitting on her shoulder? Not attacking her? What was going on? He blinked a couple times before he moved to fly a couple circles around her, trying to figure out this mystery. He gave the other Leaf Tribesman a glance before flying over to Awen, standing next to her, ready to protect her from both of them if the need for it arose.

Mano Post 5So she wanted to stick around, huh? He supposed that he understood since she was one that llived in this area. It would be interesting to learn what it was that was going to happen, especially since he had a lot of friends scattered around Tale, Jauhar, and Sauti. He was a bit worried about them, about Aaran and Kyrian, who were both in Sauti. Surely though the Alkidike wouldn't go after them, right? They were both so kind and neither really seemed like the battling sort, Kyrian especially since he was a musician. Surely he'd be fine, right? His fin ears gave a little twitch before he turned back to Alassiel, giving her a bright smile, "Sure, we can stick to the near by shops, keep our ears open, and learn what your elders what to do." He reassured her, not wanting to drag her too far off, not when she wanted to stick around. He didn't really so much mind them staying... though when she asked him if he had better ideas commenting on not know what he was into Mano gave pause. The Water Tribesman starred thoughtfully for a moment, his fin like ears giving a twtich. Better ideas? A few came to mind... but speaking them out loud would be beyond pushing his luck. As such he merely gave a smile and a laugh before saying, "Naw, I like your idea well enough, my lovely Moon Princess." He told her before looking to Xarn, "Are you alright with the idea of shopping, Sunshine?" He asked, wanting to make sure that their Wind Tribe companion was alright with the plans that they were coming up with.

Jacinthus Post 4Jacinthus glanced down at his mate as he tried to explain why he felt the Alkidike wanted to expand, something that caused him to give a slight snort, "It's all well and good, them wanting to expand, but doing so by causing all manner of harm isn't the way to go about it. All that is going to earn them is swift kick in the backside." Something that he was starting to think that his sister was going to provide in spades. The idea was both amusing and terrifying, especially given that hammer that Keilana wielded. She was probably only too eager to go bashing heads with it... though even without the hammer he knew his sister could be a force of nature. Giving his sister a look he gave a half shrug, "I can understand owning land, we own and take care of the grounds our house is built on, but declaring you own an entire world is just being greedy. It's not just use, there are various other tribes that will likely be unamused by them acting out in such a manner." He thought about that for a moment, his long ears twitching. There was that to consider, wasn't there? What if they actually managed to tick off more then the Shifters of Jauhar, the Leaf Tribe on the border, and those of Sauti? There were various other tribes that would see their encroachment on Jauhar and Sauti as a threat. What did the elders of Sauti and Zena think? What did those down south think? Suddenly there was that much more to consider, wasn't there? "Hmm, one can only wonder what the other elders might be talking about at the moment." Their own seemed to be caught up chatting with some hybrids from the looks of it, a conversation he found himself curious about. Chalcedony Post 4As Takoda looked to him for explanation he gave a half shrug, then glanced in the direction of home. That the Alkidike saw Jauhar as being theirs already was something that did sort of grate on him, "I wonder what got them so riled up that they decided that now, when there is a moment of peace, that they needed to shatter it. I wonder if their numbers are growing too great for those islands of theirs." Why else would they need to expand so far? Lifting a hand he scratched it thoughtfully against his chin, "Save for that or some sort of dominance thing the sudden need to spread seems strange to me." Why cause so much trouble without a set goal after all. There were rumors, lots of them, about what it was the women were up to and what they were after... but they couldn't really rely on rumors. Rumors and gossips, it only held partial truths, leaving them to have to sift through it for a real idea about what was going on. Chalcedony glanced to Jacinthus at his comment about the elders, then followed his gaze to them. He watched a moment before saying thoughtfully, "Huh, I wonder what Rishima is doing here." He knew the man, chatted with him in the passed, sparred with him a few times, but he wasn't one he'd expected to be here. This was... interesting, tempting him to move in closer to eavesdrop despite knowing full well that it was rude.

Xarn Post 4Sunshine...oh. His hair color...that's what it was. The youth gave the two a smile as he leaned into Mano slightly. Xarn wasn't exactly giant, so the Water tribesmen was a tad taller he nodded. "Fine by me. I was told to bring back treats for the younglings apart of my group. Any suggestions?" He looked at the female, perhaps she knew more than him. Of course he had no idea if she did or not. It didn't hurt to ask right? Xarn didn't like the talk of war however and the youth's eyes dimmed as he leaned his temple on Mano's cool arm. He kept his gaze lowered before sighing then lifting his head to look over at the leaders. "I don't like all this talk of war. Why can't we all just get along?" He feared that perhaps this time, if his group warriors went out...they wouldn't come back...that scared him. More than anything.

Issaly Post 2The smaller of the two brothers giggled at Vallen's greeting. Hugging back before he ran over to Sauron to cling to the elder male. He looked to the newcomer. A bright cheery smile greeted the ice male before Issaly stepped away from his foster father to bow in greeting. "Hi there, Mr. Kiyelt. As Papa said, I'm Issaly." He giggled as Therus flew around him and patted Sauron on the head before sitting on Issaly's shoulder. "And this is Therus." Isaris Post 2Isaris glanced to Vallen. Aware that the youth acted differently around him than Issaly, thinking not much on it he rolled his eyes in play before reaching out. Grabbing Vallen to ruffle his hair in affection, for he did feel it towards Vallen. At the moment it was small, not brotherly, but it was there. He didn't have a word for it...he just felt it towards the younger male. He looked up again before chuckling. Therus was a clown there was no doubt about that, he kept Vallen in his grasp for a few moments longer before letting go. "Kiyelt." he nodded in greeting.

Kiyelt post 3 Kiyelt chuckled at the exuberant one, immediately liking the perky young shifter, "Just Kiyelt will do Issaly, thank you," he took a deep breath. "This is Skiyaii he is my janarim, then there is Rjiri the xaraan and the two sailscales are Iniu in the pink there, and Norcrest the greyish brown." His pack of critters had grown since he had last seen Sauron...and with rather large additions. "I was much more fruitful in Oba then I was with radaku here, stubborn critters the lot of them." He snorted and fiddled with his whip, looking for n** and cracks in the supple leather. Skiyaii headbutted him from behind in admonishment. "Hey," he chuckled. Sauron post 3 Sauron smirked at the iceling after he had hugged Issaly. He never got tired of hugs from any of the children. This was what he was born for, that and radaku taming but he was pretty sure Seze had gotten more then her fair share of beast charm from him. "Hello boys, glad your here safe, are you ready for this mess to unfold now?" His kids were always on his mind, protection was the game and he was the player, he could be quite lethal if there was family at stake; fosterlings or not. At most other times he was a gentle healer/moss collector. Today he was a puffed up proud father. "Hello Therus." Sauron said. Naka his own sprite appeared from his hair to chitter at Therus. "Thats where you went Naka," Sauron snorted. "She likes hide and seek and shes figured out how not to tickle me."

Cyn Post #3
Cyn kept walking around, not really sure what to do at the moment. He kept his eyes out for the off chance his sister was here, while his ears were tuned in towards the leaders. The conversations and the crowed made it difficult to do so though and he gave up. While he walked, Cyn moved to avoid another passer by and bumped into a darker skinned male. Turning himself towards the person he lowered his hood. "Sorry about that. Gettin crowded here."He'd offer the guy a quick grin to show his sincerity. "People are gettin rowdy here it seems." As he bumped into the male, Cyn caught the last of his conversation and couldn't decide if he should chime in. Didn't know if it was really his place to do so, "My name is Cyn, and I have to agree with you a bit. Fanatics ain't the brightest if ya ask me."

Vallen Post 3 Hair thoroughly ruffled he snorted. His hair was made for ruffling, he couldn't give Isaris the same treatment because of that braid of his, he would have to find some other way of being obnoxious. He did notice the somewhat longer grasp and was amused. He could feel the blush trying to creep in but he stopped it. He wanted to run his hands through all that hair. It was fortunate for him that no one could read this in his mind. He would just have to corner the older male at some point then explain to his Dad when the obvious became..well obvious. Maybe he would be in the same contingent in the battle. He was very tempted to do something but clung to his plan for later.

Niadra - Post Five"I know, I just wish you could have seen a better side of this place." maybe she would suggest to the girl that she join the troupe for a while after this was all done, or at least offer it. She would make sure that Wyome saw the good parts of the world.
She hugged Wyome after hearing the girls words. Everyone had a past, and it seemed for a second Wyome wasn't able to hide hers. "Now it's my turn to tell you not to apologize. Having feelings isn't something you will ever have to apologize about, not with me. I don't fight, so instead I help the healers and do whatever I'm told. It's the least I can do." She also sang and kept the company of those dying, or at least she had last time there was a war, but she didn't think it was something to bring up.

Lasarra - Post FiveAnd some would slip through. She was sure of that. If it came down to war it would be a bloody one. She just hoped that they would be able to contain the fighting and not actually let it become a war, maybe more like a small battle? One could hope.
"You would know all about how to catch prey." she teased. She had to make light of the situation. She felt so many things at once. She was angry at her sisters mostly, but also sad for them. Sad that it had come to this. She was happy that they didn't have children yet. This wasn't the kind of world she wanted to bring children into.

Biroki (Post 2) Biroki moved near Rishima and Gerraden to offer his support. This, at least, was a strategy he could get behind. ”W-we should at least try to make peace. If they think they can do it, we should help these hybrids speak to their sisters...” He wanted no trouble with the Alkidike, and if these rather tall hybrids thought they could do it, he wanted to make sure that they had any help that was in his power to give.
”H-hopefully,” he added, ”with some support, we can at least make sure they aren't... aren't killed on sight.” Of course, they could fail in their talks. If that happened, and the Alkidikes decided to take a detour from their warpath to strike at the Shifter lands, then they would need what Hybrid allies they could muster. ”Certainly, they sh-should not go alone.” he added further.
His piece said, he turned his attention to the hybrid volunteers. The way they interacted with each other made him think that they might be lovers, or at least very close kin. ”I'm sorry, I've been talking about b-backing you two up, and I don't know your names... I am Biroki, and if you do this... if you try to talk to your sisters... I would like to come with you. In a supporting capacity.” If fireballs and lightning storms could ever be called 'support'.
