[Ama Vian]

Torra had heard about how dark fae cried, but it was almost a horror to see in person. Blood normally didn't bother her, but this was from his eyes, and though it made her sad for him it also made her cringe on the inside. She entered the room, her dress quietly swishing along the floor. "Why apologize for the truth of how you feel? I over reacted but I wasn't lying either. I'm proud of who I am. I feel that you should be too. It shouldn't matter what others think."

She didn't want to get too close in case he was angry, but she took a few more steps until she was by his bed. Her hands were clasped in front of her, like she used to do when her mother confronted her for doing something naughty. "I won't apologize for the things I said, but I will apologize for how I said them." She bowed enough to bend slightly at her waist, "I'm sorry."

Most people found it odd that she bowed when she greeted people of power, and when saying thank you or apologizing. But it was just habit from her mother and living in japan for a large amount of her life. She didn't look japanese by any means, but she did look like her japanese mother, her face was heart shaped, her almond shaped eyes, small nose and small mouth. But that was all. She had her fathers long ebony hair and ember eyes. His pointed ears, and the shade of her skin. *What an odd thing to think of.*

She couldn't help it, she went over and hugged him tightly. The top of her head barely coming to his shoulder. She breathed in the scent of him, and he smelled wonderful, but she couldn't tell what it was. "I remember a long time ago, when my mother was still alive, she told me a story. It was about a boy named Keenan. His mother was the last winter fae queen and his father was the king of summer. When he was born he was born to both courts. His father knew nothing of it, but his mother did, for she couldn't bare to touch him. She longed to hold him but his skin was too hot, but when it was night, he covered his room in snow."

She looked at him now, "His mother made him hide it, she told him if the courts knew he was both he would be shunned and feared. Because one fae should not hold so much power inside them. So he hid it, but he met a girl. She convinced him to be out in the open with who he was. At first his summer court fae were mocking even though he was their prince. And the winter fae shunned him for his heat. But his sister Ashlin being only a winter fae, mocked him insistently."

She took a breath and continued. "After years, of being feared and mocked at any chance, he stood up to his courts. He was their king and they would respect him. He was not a dictator by any means. But he was a kind and fair king." She searched his blood filled eyes to see if he caught her meaning.

When she didn't see what she wanted she explained. "You see, it is not how others feel that leaves a mark. It is how you let yourself be treated. If you stand up and accept the things you cannot control, such as your parents, it will in turn make others see it from your point of view. It may not be instant but it does happen."

She smiled at him, "It's not that I fear nothing. It is that I know how to read feelings and I happen to find you intriguing."  

[Ama Vian]

"That is quite a large step, wouldn't you say?! I met you today, like 2 hours ago. Marriage is a big deal." She let him go. She liked him, there was no doubt but she knew nothing about him or him about her. She only just met him and he was talking about marriage? Oh Goddess.

She sighed. "Why must you act like everything is the end of the world? Just because you don't say exactly the right thing every time, or things don't happen the exact way you planned?"

She wasn't used to talking to someone who was so easily thrown by their emotions. She wasn't blind to how people acted when it came to emotions, but to her it seemed he had no control over them minus a little bit when he was watching Aimera.
