I'm sorry.... just doesn't seem to be my day does it?
He managed to free out his left arm, and attempted to rummage through whatever, fingers long since slick and goopy. The flame on his finger went out, and he raised the next finger; lighting it anew.
Are you ok...? Nothing happened?

'I'm fine... there was lots of screaming, more screaming, panic, then lots of worry... and then trying to figure out where I could get a nice cup of tea and some scones.' That last part was meant to be light hearted. Since there was apparently no danger, Alexiel leaned against the bike and relaxed. 'Might I ask why you're in a dragon's stomach?'

Shouyin was stuck with watching Vahn being eaten, and the dragon sinking back underneath the water. He'd never been much with expressing his emotions, and as such he probably just looked the same as ever, arms crossed over chest leaning against the side of the car, but inside something was burning. The ninjaman had been his first opponent at Leviathan, and during the Providence incident he'd for a time become Shouyin's idol, and then to be handed the title of teammate (HoH), of equal! Hopefully that added up to something resembling a friend.
His fists were hidden underneath his biceps, but the left was clenched so hard that a subtle pool of red was drip-dropping its way to life underneath him, and the soft scrtch scrtch of stone being ground away emitted from his right. The half-golem hadn't cried in a while, and even now tears refused to well in his eyes, but that just made things worse. It was often the one who appeared to be taking it the best that was really suffering the worst.
Green eyes wavered.

I'm... well I'm looking for something... anything really. Hasn't it weirded you out that all the random happenings have been sparse if not kept close to certain areas...
His eyes were closed as he continued feeling about with his left hand, feeling a slight twinge of what must have been stomach acid on his skin.
And everytime... something seemed to get drawn towards that location... That statue rising up was no coincidence.
His hand twitched as he remembered the winged person and how he had snatched and ran.
It's already pretty obvious that we're not looking for actual petals... we have to look where we wouldn't think of looking... be where we wouldn't want to be... or..
He sighed and lowered his head.
I could just be exercising my right to be moronic and have gotten myself in here for nothing.
A short pause.
Whatever happens here... don't forget about Durem. No matter what... seeing that girl is important right? And I... I.... promised myself I would see you through to it.
He left hand closed around what seemed to be a portion of bone.
There's little over half a tank left in the bike... there's money and food in the duffel bag on the side. She tends to stall if you hit any hills, and it'll take a while for all that sand in her threads to fall off so don't go too fast until after you've gotten off the ferry.

Alexiel blinked, looking over at the man with the car. He hadn't left yet, which meant that her companion being eaten by the dragon meant something to him. Then again, it could just be the girl that had been riding with him and dove into the ocean. But if it was just the girl, why hadn't he gone in after her.
Finally Alex spoke up. "You seem fairly interested in my friend who was eaten by the dragon... He's alright, you know... Still alive..."
((Edit, response to Ed's post smile )
'Thanks... but I dunno how to drive a motorcycle. So, I'll just be sitting here till you get yourself out of that dragon's stomach. IF it wanted you dead, you would most likely be dead by now.'

Kira's gut rumbled with hunger as she felt the being moving around, unused to the contents of her stomach still being mobile. She mentally flicked through what she'd eaten since she had last coughed up the bones of her victims. Dolphins... a small manatee... a few Komodos... not much else, really, she mused to herself. Oh yes, and those pirates as well. And their lovely little treasure box... I'd nearly forgotten about that!
Slinking from the crashing waves and covered in seaweed, Kira strode onto the shore like some kind of ancient monster from the depths, keeping most of her lower half submerged in the water. She wanted her distance from those watching her, not quite sure of what they could do as of yet. She kept a close eye on them, even as she shook the water from her head and wings.

"... What?" The word was summoned up out of Shouyin's stomach, something guttural, pushed out through clenched teeth. His fist were loosened, and as the dust floated out of his right hand he realized how much his left hurt. Nothing that wouldn't heal up in a day, nothing broken or ripped, but his palm pulsed with anguish as his fingers cried thanks for being relaxed.
"But, it just ate him... he's inside it, dying! How can you call that okay!?" And then the creature dared to simply come up on the shore, shaking itself off as if to -gloat- at Shouyin. Like this kill was its newfound victory and it was frighteningly aware of how much this pained him. His right hand went up to grip at his head and hair, left hand hanging dead as his breath quickened and his pupils went tiny. Panic was rushing in. It was right there, if Vahn was still alive, the half-golem could certainly save him.
His mouth was dry.

"No... it did not eat him, it simply swallowed him... he's still alive in there, searching for something. Told me not to attack the dragon... I would advise you to do the same." It didn't take a psychic to see that the man was debating whether or not to attack. He was tense.
Well, if Devil was going to be busy searching inside the beast's stomach, she might as well make conversation. "How do you know him anyway?"

Somehow I got the feeling you'd say that...
His left hand closed around the bone, snapping it in two easily, considering it had been deterioated already by the stomach lining and acid.
"Hey-hey... I can't be all that tasty now... don't you think it's time you let me out?"
His eyes spied something buried beneath flaps of skin and ground bones, slimy fingers grasping against it and pulling hard; a small box apparently.

Kira snarled and narrowed her eyes, raising her hackles. She could literally feel the anger and hatred simply rolling off of the Child of Stone, and hissed angrily at it. She took a few more steps onto the sand towards the offending party, switching neatly over into a more primal state of needing to defend her territory.
In the back of her mind, she could hear the Little One speaking to her aloud, but couldn't quite make out what he was saying... not that she cared much at this point. There were more important fights to pick right in front of her.

"Yeah, alright." He was talking to Alex, on the matter of staying put, but his eyes were focused on the dragon's. Both arms dropped to just hang loose at his sides as he basically went into a staring contest with this offending creature. If this was her version of primal, then they were both getting pretty close to some kind of club and stone axe match.
If he was feeling just a little better, he would've given the fish the finger.
"Err, Leviathan. Heaven or Hell. We're fighters." It wasn't in Shouyin to throw out more than four or five syllables per sentence at the moment. That weird need to protect was welling up inside, and his heart was kicking a wartime beat. All they needed was a tumbleweed and this freakish spaghetti western would be complete.
Wisps of green floated off Shouyin's shoulders gently.

What do you know? A tumbleweed actually rolled by......
Alex moved forward, away from the bike, moving in between the big dragon with sharp teeth and the fighter. Again, it did not take a psychic to conclude that a fight was brewing. "Excuse me umm..." Alex had no clue what to call the dragon or indeed what gender it was. "Dragon?" That seemed safe. Alexiel was being as polite as ever if not overly polite and she smiled and bowed to the great beast.
If she was lucky, she wouldn't be joining Vahn in the pit of slobbery doom.

"...s**t..."
His left hand was currently clutching to the box he had found, a bit too large to cup his hand over, but not so big that he couldn't drag it out with him if need be.
He... only hoped he wouldn't have to drag it out... there...
Alright... I get the picture, you have nothing in here... cough me up already dammit!

Telepathy and vocalization were beyond Kira as she seethed with rage at the Child of Stone. She hadn't even noticed the figure between them, and had all but forgotten about the one she'd eaten. All that mattered was the destruction of the invader.
Wings partially spread, Kira advanced upon the Child of Stone, simply stepping over the girl in front of her. Small arcs of lightning played across her hide, giving her scales a sickly glow as a low rumble echoed from her throat.

Shouyin grinned, holding a clenched right fist up in between himself and the dragon as he pushed off of the car. He couldn't summon up a muukuuken, not yet. His heartbeat was pumping the purest rhythm, and while his consciousness was fading as the fight instinct set in, there was enough killing intent in him to choke a small animal. The wisps of green gently flared in counteraction to the dragon's arcs of lightning.
Earth formed a dam against Water, and the terrain was in his favour.
He'd quickly pull off shoes, socks, jacket and t-shirt, and look up at the dragon with wild eyes.
"Mayn, today's turning out to be a good day."
