Maple was surprised to find herself protected once again, this time by a dark skinned boil with some sort of bone helm. Was... she had no idea what he was, this wasn't something to think about.
Maple spotted another ghoul, a little worse for ware ... well, that wasn't really a good sentiment seeing as how everyone looked fatigued and well the other ghoul might be an undead given how she looked. Either way, Maple held her keyblade up and attempted a heal.

Diana spurned on by her last successful attack took flight again and tried the same attack once more from her new direction. "Well it worked last time.." She muttered right before she... completely missed the target. Landing once more she pants slightly in annoyance and in fatigue. She couldn't wait until this was all over, these heels were not made to fight in.

Was that guy seriously trying to make it sound like he was a better protector? Gabby was seconds away from a snide, insulting comment, when the bone blade swung around again and he had to duck. It came close to hitting the guy Efflo was trying to protect, as well. The mere idea that he could even joke about being a better defender than Gabby was.. laughable.
"Who the hell are you trying to protect, THE MONSTER?" Gabby barked out, the smirk on his lips betraying the fact that he was this close to laughing. "Honestly, I think I'd better stand between you and them, just to be-"
It was at this point that Gabby heard the fire comment, and noticed Andrew's particular affinity. He noped right the hell out.
A weapon? Petro narrowed his eyes, square-root brows furrowing. He wasn't very good with weapons or shields, preferring to handle battles bare-handed. But he obviously wasn't doing a very good job of it, now, was he? Reach for one? Fine, at worse he could use it to fend off any attacks done to the others.
And when he awoke to find himself holding a keyblade, it was very much like him in several respects: Nothing fancy, nothing glowing, it didn't leave any miasma or sparkles in the wake of its movement. But it felt sturdy in his hands, and its simplicity was a comfort.
Then the glowing one began spouting about considering these shadowlings feelings, the horse monster just snorted, sounding very unimpressed. Tro had learned that there were times when diplomacy was the best choice, the shadowlings had thrown out that option the instant they tried to eat his things. He let out a laugh, however, when he saw the hand-swallowing. "'S only one way to deal with these things."

The horse boil let his FEAR flow with the keyblade, letting his grip shift from slack to tight as he lunged forward and took a swing. The sensation of the weapon striking something instead of thin air was a good change and it felt wonderful, made him think his size wasn't just meant to be used as a meatshield. Not that there was anything wrong with that being one's role but Tro still had a fondness for bashing things in.
He was quick to pull back though, not wanting to separate from Lattice for too long. "Finally hit somethin'" he declared proudly. Had he been a dog his tail would be wagging at this point. It was a small thing and not much of a victory but let the poor pony have it?

"Seriously? Is everyone outside of firelands afraid of fire? What is wrong with you creeple?!" he shouted at the dragon boil. Andrew was getting really tired of this vendetta the entire school hat against flame demons. His tail burned higher matching his key blade.
"I'm helping ok." never mind that he was running out of steam and quickly. Andrew huffed and panted a bit contemplating his next move. Danny seemed, less safe since she had the dog boil. But he had Maple near by though her last spell seemed rather pitiful.
"N-not all of-f us are f-fire p-proof!" Maple found herself puffing up her cheeks in defense over her actions. She was glaring, oh so pitifully, but she did not want to be taken down by friendly fire here, thanks.

That's it, Efflo had had enough. His room was destroyed, his pants were mostly eaten and to top it all off, he had to contend with fire and shadowlings. You could almost see the steam rising from his ears at Gabby's comment, and an embarrased flush crept up his cheeks. The boil whirled around suddenly, lunging at snickering student with keyblade drawn.
"I've never hit you with it." he huffed at Maple, remembering the drink incident. Unlike some he could keep his body necessities to himself.
"That's my cousin you Jacken dog thing! and fire can too be controlled." Andrew was pissed, just pissed. His wings spread to their full, tiny spread. Fire burned off his hands an tail very brightly now and he formed a very large fireball ready to launch the thing at the Jacken Dog.
Instead he turned and threw it at the monster. A shock wave promptly threw him back onto his butt. Owe.

Diana rolled her eyes at everyone's antics about the two fire users. So what if they were using fire? So long as it was against the big creature in front she couldn't care less. However, that would all change if they ever turned that fire against her clothes. "Ah come on Damien! She doesn't seem to be that bad. That and at least they are tossing their fires at the creature and not us ne?" She called out to the fluffy tailed one in semi-defense of the two flame demons. Once she had done her 'good deed' however she went back at the creature again hoping to actually hit this time as her blade swings through the air one more. She attempts to channel her fear through the blade, causing the blade to drop gold coins as it swings towards the enemy. Again she misses, only managing to rain a few coins onto it's head as she lands. "Jack... I think their doing better damage than me anyway..." she growls out as she glares up at the creature.
