"Sounds brilliant." Her grinned sustained throughout his sketch. The fox would have loved to offer suggestions of her own, but her forte was in torture, not so much drills and training, and any ideas she had would likely be shot down. Though, his proffered use rubber bullets seemed sinister enough. She mulled over his drawing silently, turning her thoughts more on the incentive than the course itself. While the boy might like a challenge, competition wasn't always enough to get a full commitment. Scy thought back to the student's that protected the school when it was invaded. Each had received gifts suited to them for their valor. Perhaps they could offer a similarly tailored boon to the winner. It'd be hard to not make it obvious that it was intended for the elf, though. "What if we made the prize a custom weapon? Nothing in school protocol restricts faculty from bestowing armaments onto students."

He chuckled as he listened to her suggestion then thought for a moment "hmm, I would say the custom weapon goes to those who best my time and we vary the awards depending on how fast they finish below it." he said after a moment pondering the thought with ideas as to what could or could not be done or given. "How about this a night of drinking for anyone who finishes on me, and to whoever finishes it first we give them the custom weapon and they can choose whether or not to join in the merriment of drinking." he chuckled for a moment and lightly patted her on the shoulder from across the table "Means you get quite a lot of money from me in the end regardless." he said laughing.

At the mention of the binge fest, Scytheress' nose scrunched. "That's all well and good, but they're all underage." She relaxed her face and then went back to pondering the suggestion. Booze certainly would be a nice way to attract the masses, but she couldn't break her oath to the school to uphold the laws in her establishment. "Perhaps school credit towards some award or something?" She liked the idea of there being multiple rewards for different requirements. "Hah, we should have the winners spar against me. That'd be fun." She'd go easy on them, of course. It would just be the icing on the cake to teach Lillie's suitor what could happen if he invoked a mother's wrath.

He chuckled at her reaction and then frowned "Well I was alluding to the fact that some people might be joining to test themselves as we said before hand we can't have it exclusive then people would know something was up. and for those whoa re old enough to drink why not let them." he said shrugging. And as to her suggestion of the winner getting to go a couple rounds with her in a ring Devlin just laughed his eyes going wide with laughter. "I think that might deter a couple more then entice." he said shaking his head and finishing his scotch setting the glass down the ice clattering within. "I'm as ornery as they come and even i wouldn't be as bold as to think I could take you." he said throwing a mental note of We share a fundamental darkness if all be it for differing reasons.towards her hoping his attempt at telepathy would work.

A tall lanky man with a leg that creaked with each step took at step the bar. He didn't see any smoking signs and wondered if it was okay to pull out a cigarette and have a smoke. Though he was still fresh looking a little he was over fifty and he was slowing down. He took around the bar only to frown at how dark it was. How could he tell the good looking girls from the really ugly ones. He wasn't going to complain about bring home a girl to put in his bed and violate her body or maybe a guy he could dominate. Angel wasn't one for being dominated. The man took a spot at the bar.

He frowned as he heard the creaking leg walk into the bar and after a moment held his gloved finger up to Syctheress. "You know, that leg didn't creak as bad the last time i heard it." Devlin chuckled somewhat morbidly as he turned to look at the man he knew had just walked in though it somewhat surprised him that Angel a.k.a Frank was here.

Keldrian swung through the door, her black skirt swaying around her knees, and her light gray t shirt snug to her skin. Seeing as she was in her normal form, her hair was long and dark and hung to her hips. She clutched a book bag pretentiously to her side, and made her way to the bar. Her gait was smooth and effortless, and as she reached the stool across from the door, she hauled her bag onto the bar and jumped lightly onto the stool. Keldrian smiled at the bartender and pulled a notepad and pen from her bag.
"Can I get a water please?"
The end of the pen rested against her bottom lip as she read of the mess of writing that was previously scrawled down two thirds of the page. Her slender brows knit together as she wrote down a few sentences. Half was scratched from the page and rewritten.

Angel looked over as he notice a favorite uniformed man. The man smiled and gave out a hearty chuckle. "Son of a gun." He moved out of his seat and walked towards his friend. "Devlin Graham. Haven't seen you in a while." He commented before sitting on his chair. "To think I came to the magical world for the first time to see my son and his family and instead the first thing I see is you." The man commented. He was happy to see his friend. "I think this calls for a round of vodka."

Scytheress soothed her smile as new comers began to flow into the bar. Her discussion would have to be put on hold, at least temporarily, so she could tend to her customers. She nodded her head toward Devlin in a respectful parting and slipped from the booth. At least it seemed he knew another occupant now. The fox slipped around the back of the bar to her customary position and gave the two new entrants a grin. "How's it goin' tonight?" She flipped a glass into her hand and spun it across her palm as the young girl asked for some water. "I hope taps ok, I don't buy into any of this filtered stuff. You know where I used to get my water? A river, and it was delicious." She tipped the glass under the faucet and filled it with the clear liquid and placed it before the girl. As she was tending to the girl, the older man stood and made for the table she'd just vacated. When the fox-eared lady heard the call for vodka, she sent a shadow over with two shot glasses and a bottle of Imperia. The spectre set the items on the table and then vanished in a tuft of smoke.

He just grinned a little bit "Of course, I pop up damn near everywhere I'm a ******** Gypsy you know that." Devlin said with a laugh it was somewhat true he used to not stay anywhere very long at all. fingering his chin and goatee which was flecked with gray Devlin thought for a moment "Yeas, I heard Trey was working here as well, though if truth be told I haven't seen hide nor hair of my godson." he said wondering and looked down at the Violin on the table "One of my fondest memories playing my violin when the little troublemaker was knee high to a grasshopper." Devlin said

Keldrian looked up from her homework, and laughed at the fox infront of her.
"Filtered water tends to have more impurities than tap water. Say, have you any astronomy knowledge?"
The young girl pulled a tea bag from a compartment on her bag, and slid the water across the bar top. Holding it aloft, she mindlessly passed her hand under it, flames gently licking the glass. The water boiled after the second pass, and she placed the glass back in its original spot. Gently, the tea bag plopped into the scalding water.
Looking around, she saw an assortment of people sitting about. Twirling her finger above the glass, the water twirled and slowly turned a deep red as the tea steeped.

Angel wasn't a little surprised by the shadow person. Reminding his friend that he was just an ordinary human who knew about the magical world. He was used to the science that he grew up with than the magical theories taught at this school. "Well his girl has been pregnant and she only recently had the baby. It's a little girl and from what I've heard she is a good mixture of Graves and her mother." Angel told Devlin. Probably explaining why his son wasn't around.

The graying redhead just nodded for a moment and took the vodka in his gloved prosthetic hand "Ah well then Chtoby vashi vnuki potom!" Devlin said smiling and slammed the shot of vodka down without a grimace or any sign of noticing. though he tenderly sat the glass back down.

Angel raised his own glass. "Cheers." He said before doing his own. He took it down fast. It had been a while since he had a good old drink with a friend and not have little kids running around to worry about. He then looked at his friend. "So how are the girls?" He asked turning the chat to Devlin's family.

Coughing covering his mouth with a fist as was his custom Devlin blinked a couple times. "They're good going to school here now." he said and coughed "God this is all upside down, What happened to the world we grew up in eh?" Devlin asked after a moment "We're old men this is something of a shock to here of our children being more then the flesh and bone of normal mortals." he said with a sigh. and looking down at the table between them and his violin. "It's a bit much to digest in one setting." Devlin said finally with a forced laugh, I mean this morning I watched my boss pop away from the teachers lounge you know one moment he's there the next he's gone." Devlin said letting out a sigh.
