Welcome to Aru's Bar and Tavern
This wonderful establishment is run and owned by the On-Campus Security Head to make sure students and under-age drinkers aren't permitted to imbibe. That being said, creatures of all ages are welcome here!
You'll find tables scattered about, a dance floor off to the right, and booths lining the left and front walls. The entire back wall encompasses the counter and serving station. To the left of the bar is the entrance to the kitchen and to the right are stairs. In compliance with the 'tavern' label, Aru's also provides rooms for people out of town or for patrons too drunk to get back to their own dwellings.
The atmosphere is on the dusky side, red and golds dominate the decor but all the colors are subdued by the dim lighting.

Aru's Rules and Regulations
No fighting in the bar - The bar-mistress will beat the crap out of you and toss you out the door
No intense displays of affection in the bar - Unless you want the bar-mistress to join in
No buying drinks for minors no matter how old they look or claim to be - this includes mythical creatures who are over the legal drinking age of the land but not of their species - If you do, you will be challenged to a drinking game and you will lose
No trashing the rooms upstairs - The bar-mistress will find your personal dwellings and return the favor
Do talk to the bar-mistress - she is very congenial (when it suits her) and would be more than happy to teach you a thing or two
Do enjoy yourself - if you're here to sulk, expect to be hit on or bugged until you cheer up
Do bring your friends - the more the merrier
Do come to hang out with your teachers - you might get free food
Do pay your tab - or considered yourself employed at Aru's
Drinking Ages - if you are human, you must be 21 and up - Elves and Fey creatures need to be 300 or older - others subject to be defined by cultural law

Dracula walked into the Tavern along with Ulf following close behind. He looked around the place, not bad.. not bad at all. but honestly a bar near the campus? Hopefully none of the students would be heading here and getting drunk. Who was he kidding thats exactly what would be going on. That and the teachers drinking themselves into a pit of despair.
Dracula chuckled lightly to himself and headed to the bar after beckoning for Ulf to continue following him. He leaned against the counter of the bar and looked for the bartender.
"Two drinks please. I do have to ask though if you serve medical blood. Or Bloodwine." Dracula asked as he caught the bartenders attention.

Ulf sat down next to dracula and sighed, "And i'll have vodka." Ah yes his poison of choice. He sighed and leaned his head on the counter.

"Alright i hate emotional chit chat bullshit pup. But you are interesting to me that why i brought you here. I have to have at least a few i can toy with at times. Otherwise things will be too boring." Dracula said as he leaned in close to Ulf. "So just what my dear boy is bothering you? Memories from the past, uncompleted goals? Honestly if i have learned anything in my forsaken long life its this... history repeats itself no matter how often you try to keep it from doing so." Dracula smirked to him. "You'll get your chance again and until then let it stay in the past where it belongs."

"But Hitzig...i couldn't save him. I grew up with him...i knew him since we were born. We were never apart...i can't let that go. I can't be that heartless. I shouldn't have left that morning. I knew things were getting bad...but my job...my stupid job was just to damn important to me. I was so ******** selfish." He turned his head away from dracula. He hated that smirk he was getting.

"You havent had that many close to you die.. have you?" Dracula frowned at the males behavior. So what he had someone close to him die? Dracula didnt see the point in loathing oneself for it. Then again something was broken upstairs from what Dracula himself had lost along with his sanity.
"Ive seen many come and go, ones that were close to me and ones that werent. Ones whose demise i helped cause.. and others i didnt. Its just the course of things.. its how things are. You cant change that and wallowing in your own self pity over something you cant change is insanity." Dracula said with a bit of a sneer, he may as well have said 'get over it' to the boy.
"You feel bad for it. Alright, good, now stop it. Because it wont change a thing." Dracula added.

Ulf snarled at him, "I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO COMFORT ME! I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO PITY ME AND I DIDN'T ASK YOU TO HANG AROUND YOU FILTHY BLOOD SUCKING LEACH!" He panted heavily. Now he was beyond livid. How dare he just say something like that. Hitzig was the only one he had gotten close to in his life and now he was gone.

"And yet here we are." Dracula said calm as ever. He turned to the boy, a serious look on his face, but it softened a bit. He leaned in and placed his hands on the boys shoulders gently.
"Im not pitying you. I know you didnt ask anything of me. I wouldnt expect you to." Dracula said gently to him. "Im sorry for your loss. Ive had similar taken from me time and time again." Dracula said sincerely, it was why he didnt.. rather couldnt respond to this in the right way.
"Ill never understand why most beings are so intouch with their emotions. And forgive me if time has jaded me. But my boy.. Meine Deutsche comrade. It still doesnt change things." Dracula said as he released the boy. "I became a monster so i wouldnt have to cry, but if you need to then do so." Dracula said before he shut his trap. He had been sincere and calm the entire time. Thats as far as his.. comforting skills went.

Ulf nodded and tears once again formed in his eyes. Oh he couldn't handle this right now...he needed sleep. He slowly got up and looked to dracula, "Thank you." He managed to choke out. It sounded weak and lost. "I will see you around when im better..." He left the bar. He didn't want to be around anybody else right now. He needed to think.
