"Havyn, welcome! Hope you settling into the school well." The professor hangs up a sign on the greenhouse door saying: Quote: Repotting mandrake roots: Put on earmuffs before entering or be prepared to be carried to the Hospital Wing "Anyhow, I would like to wait for more students before we start since we have to run through some safety points first. But why don't we have a little discussion about that now? Anyone like to start by telling me why we need these earmuffs?"

Your Momegranate Havyn Beaumont - 4th Year
Havyn rushed into the classroom and scanned the room. She saw Ghaleon looking around, so assumed he needed a partner and walked over to him.
"Hi there. I need a partner too, " she said as she placed her earmuffs over one ear and off the other. "I'm Havyn by the way."
 Ghaleon extended his hand to Havyn's "Good to meet you, I'm Ghaleon. Odd enough to say it, but I'm glad your late too. Otherwise I'd be on my own trying to do this heh." It was an attempt at a joke, a rather poor attempt perhaps, though he still smiled as he said it.

 Havyn Beaumont - 4th Year Ravenclaw
Havyn took his hand for a friendly shake and then dropped it down to the table afterwards.
"Nice to meet you too," she said humbly with a smile. Making a small pause, she took a second to put the other earmuff over her right ear.
"That's true, but it's also a good thing they hadn't started pulling mandrakes yet. I would have hated to walk in to of a bunch of screaming mandrakes."

 Text walked into class, looking around the greenhouse. She saw a sign telling her to put on earmuffs, because they would be re-potting mandrakes. Grinning slightly, she grabbed a pair (they were light green, her favorite color) and took her seat.

"That's right Harmony! We wouldn't like to have a class in the hospital wing." Looks around the greenhouse, slightly disappointed at the lack of students but also considers how she has no set times. She sighs but feels happy to see the students who did make it, nicely paired up and ready. "Let's begin by getting the equipment and get your wands out" Stars turns around and writes onto the blackboard Quote: Equipment between two: A bag of compost and soil A medium sized pot Spades A pot with mandrake in "So first, you'll have to get the pot ready by putting in the soil and compost mixture up to a third, then you would have to get the mandrake out of its pot. You'll have to be careful to not hurt it, but if you just pull it out, you'll probably end up with the pot's content all over the place. So move some of the soil outside of the pot. When you can see the mandrake's face, start using your hands (with gloves on) to loosen the soil. We'll just do this for now."

First Year Slytherin.
Rushing into the classroom ear-muffs in hand, Marley skidded toward an empty spot at the table on her flats. She tugged on her ear-muffs, securing them in place. She looked at her materials, and considered carefully what needed to be done first.
She slipped on her gloves, as to not get dirt under her fingernails, and filled up the empty pot with fresh soil and compost. Then, slowly and carefully, she pushed some of the soil out of the pot with the Mandrake in it. Upon seeing its face she began to loosen the soil with her hands, as the professor had said.

*Rushes in and finds an empty spot* Ah, mandrakes! *Putting on the earmuffs and gloves, she begins to study her equipment and chose what actually needed to be put to use. She began to mimick Marley's movement in putting the soil in an empty poy. She then started on the mandrakes pot, loosening and emptying wherever needed...*

Miss Taro walked in with her Ear muffs on, she had spotted the other student's through the windows and realized that it was that time of year when they re-potted mandrakes. Hurrying up to the class while she putted on her gloves and then made sure that the muffs where on tightly.

Making certain his gloves had been on tightly Ghaleon started to add the soil and compost mix to the empty pot. He then waited for Havyn to give him a signal so they could both try and move around the mandrake soil so as to extract the it as quickly and hopefully as cleanly as they could. It was going to be hard if not impossible to hear each other with the earmuffs on.
Actually he was rather interested in how the professor was going to communicate the rest of the instructions with the earmuffs on everyone. Well he assumed a spell of some kind of course, but it would be interesting to see how it would work. Or maybe the earmuffs were already enchanted? Or maybe he was just over thinking this and it didn't really matter all that much. But he just couldn't help but over think things sometimes.

 Christopher Lestrange— Hufflepuff ; Seventh YearWith Meiko by my side and my large earmuffs on i walk to a nearby shelf with all the equipment and start taking out what i need. As i return to her side, on the table, i place:
- A bag of compost and soil
- A medium sized pot
- Spades
- A pot with a mandrake in it
For the first step i put up to a third of soil and compost in the medium sized pot and with my gloves on i start mixing them together.
Would you like to do the next step? I ask Meiko.

She fixes her earmuffs on her ears, and said to Christopher. "Sure, I'll get the Mandrake out of it's pot."
She pulls her gloves up to tighten it, and then she carefully pulled the Mandrake out of it's pot. The Mandrake pulls out a terrifying shriek, good thing they were all wearing their earmuffs. She gets a spade and places some of the soil to the pot where the Mandrake will be placed.
"Should I place it in the pot now?" she asked Christopher shyly.
