stare Well, i'm not bi, but i thought i was for a while but i'm really. When i thought i was bi, i didn't tell anyone til i find out for sure that i was. I've been with males b4, but i never had them as real boyfriends, jus them helping me out, and me helping them out. I really went out with this one guy, we knew each other since we were babies. I loved but i could never fall in love with him. I love feminine women, from their touch, to their tendencies, to their taste. I'm a lesbian and i'm out and proud[out & proud- does not mean wearing rainbow wear from head to toe.]I'm jus me exclaim

I kind of keep it on the down low. Considdering I'm not totally sure about my sexuality. Ofcourse, as I've mentioned, if the question came up, I'd tell. My friends kind of think I'm joking to be honest. Maybe they just don't like the idea of me going for them. xp

Actually... I think I'm looking at this a different way... I told all my friends and family I was bisexual, because I actually am, but when I got to college and joined GLBSU (Gay Lesbian Bisexual Student Union)... bisexuals are a lot less common in college because most of those who were bisexual in high school, either went totally gay or went back to being straight by college time...
Anyways, when I got to college, I didnt tell my gay friends I was bisexual, I told them I was a lesbian... I was afraid to tell them because... well lesbians and gay men get crap from straight people for being gay... well bisexuals get it from both straight people and gay people... because there are a lot of gay people out there who dont believe in bisexuals, they think we're just full of crap, wont choose a side. I didn't admitt I was bisexual for like eight months, and then I just came out with it in the middle of a meeting (and our GLBSU group is very large, the smallest meetings we ever have are like 70 people) and I'm glad I did... I just felt better... and nobody gave me any s**t about it, although I've had discussions with many lesbians who have said "you know, I think you're the only person I know who I actually believe is bisexual" Everyone accepts me though... I should have just admitted it a long time before that, but I had had so many conversations with friends who were just like "bisexuals, are full of s**t... theres no such thing as a bisexual".
The problem with bisexuals is... we have a bad name due to things like: those chicks that make out with other girls at clubs just to get guys attention, and call themselves bisexual, when really they're just straight girls trying to get attention. Or those who call themselves bisexual, and then try dating a guy and a girl at the same time... Those people are just morons... they're the reason bisexuals have a bad name... not the whole reason, but they definitely dont help our image at all.
True bisexuals and pansexuals are rare though... most people eventually discover that they have a preference and usually just fall into that, whether gay or straight. I think thats another thing that pushes the stigma that "bisexuals" just wont make a choice.
Anyways, I thought I'd throw that in, just to give you all something to think about.

I never told my family. I don't know if I ever will. I told my boy friend and some of my friends just found out on thier own. My boy friend supports it. (he is not the type of man to gawk over girl x girl situations. He just supports gay rights and my right. ^^)
So far, so good. I am not sure if I am going to tell my boy friends parents though. I think his mother would be ok with it, I am just too shy to say anything... redface

I talked about it with my gay guy friend and i told people who werent that close to me to see their reactions. Most were shocked but didnt have a problem. At times i almost looked at it like a test, if the friend didnt like the fact that i was bi/ or more than they werent a true friend and screw them. lol. But i was realy scared to tell my best friend, who is a straight girl, and my mom who is slightly predjudiced against some things. But although i do believ i was slightly reckless in telling them, when i knew they might not want to know me anymore, im especially happy to say that my best friends reaction was "Im your best friend, i dont care that your bi" which was exactly what i wanted. Im happy. mrgreen

I used to hide the fact that I was Bi because I thought it would ruin my life in school. Well, since then I've told two of my best friends, and they're cool with it. (I think sweatdrop ) If anyone was to ask I'd just casually say yeah, so what? Its not that big of a deal unless you're a total homophobic-and they aren't worth being friends with if they can't be understanding.

S.R.Osuna I wish I could, but I know my own parents would never in any way disaprove of my sexuality and I'm STILL too shy to tell them. I know what ya mean. I am too afraid to tell my parents I am bi, but I know I got to someday. I am also afraid to tell my friends, in fear they'll make fun of me, but I told one of them and they have no problem with it and are still my friend today. 3nodding

I'm not gonna tell my parents, at least not for a while. I've told my friends, though not my best friend. Thankfully, the friend's I've told are very understanding. They don't mind at all.
