Flamgra smiled a wicked,yet soft grin,he appreciated her thought proecess already.
"Yes it is, I taught them a few techniques and the Sylvan are a weak and stringy lot. They could not re-take the city easily,it's walls and it's people would be at your beck and call, Matron Lariexith" Flamgra said smiling again,having a look around the room. Such decadent decor, his typical plate and leather looked like a lump of trash in such a place. He liked his armor though,he just hoped the matron would not make him alter his atire. Keeshe was sleeping soundly on his shoulder as they discussed buisness.

Lari's eyes became a glittery wickedness as he told her this. But that glow quickly dimmed as she pressed on the conversation, sitting straighter in her seat, "So, are you confident that you can lead a melee army against a House or surface raid without fail?"

"I am very confident in my abilities,I have trained all my life to be the as lethal as possible. My strength is yours to use as you wish,my matron" Flamgra gave a light bow, smiling that wicked grin of his. He took much pleasure in the thought of dominating a house,or taking over the surface. The world was his for the taking at this point,he did not want to rule it. Instead he wanted to merely deliver it, to be the warrior who conquered the surface and the underdark. All in the name of his matron and the mighty Lolth.

"And what about when it comes to arranging scout groups? Are you good at navigating? Can you map out places in your head and perhaps add it to parchment later? Are you able to gather information from the other Houses when I request it?"

"Combat may be my specialty, but I can scout and I can navigate without a map. I may need a parchment and charcoal to write down important things like passwords and codes. But I could retreive information, any I can not find out by hiding and watching.. I find that alcohol tends to lossen even the strongest lips." Flamgra smirked and gently stroked Keeshe,who had just started moving around on his shoulder.

Lari watched the male stroke the spider on his shoulder who had just awoken it had appeared. She seem to be in a short contemplative gaze before sitting back in her chair and placing her finger on her temple, "I require my Weapons Masters to have a certain set of skills. You seem to be good with everything I have for a requirement. You have good navigating skills, you can arrange scout groups, you can lead a melee army, you have a base on the surface. All of these are very good traits. But something that I do require is that the Weapons Master can work under extreme situations. Meaning using their environment or able to pick up a foreign weapon that's not precisely their specialty but can be used sufficiently. So, I must ask, what are the weapons you specialize in and what are the ones you can and can't use."

"Too bad you were not witness to my battle with the captain of your guard. I can work under pressure,part of being a true warrior is to use everything to your advantage. Use the darkness to hide and flank an opponent, if there is no darkness and they have a heavy guard, throw; mud, dirt, sand, broken glass to blind them. All it takes is for them to show one moment of weakness and you to exploit that weakness." Flamgra stretched and put Keeshe on the coffee table,allowing her to run around.
"My specialty is knives,swords and spear. But in a pinch Axes and maces will do,though I am not particularily fond of the weight. I prefer my daggers,very versatile tools of death." He said smiling,watch Keeshe crawl all over the coffee table.

"My guards told me of the battle. Pity... he was a good guard captain. His ability with ventriloquism was useful," Lariexith displayed a distinct disapproval in her tone.
Dismissing the thought, Lariexith pressed on, "So you specialize in knives, swords, and spears. But you can find use in axes and maces. What about the hand-crossbow? And do you have a particular style of fighting? Can you duel wield? Or do you have another drowish fighting style you prefer?"

"I prefer a style taught to me by my late teacher,called flourantine. It is a method of Draa Velve that one must syncronize both weapons,while fighting to create a wave of attacks,allow me to demonstrate." Flamgra stood up and walked near the door, making sure he had adequit room for movement. He flatened out his hands,so to give a better demonstration of blade motion.
"With each movement.." Flamgra said using his right hand to slowly make a cresent moon shape slice downward. Pivoting his body to adjust for good mobility.
"There must be a another smooth wave right after" He said,from that postion he slowly spun and used his left hand to slice horizontally across his imaginary opponents throat. Flamgra then braught his right hand up at a diagnal, slashing motion from what would be their right thigh to left shoulder. Flamgra once again slowly spun and his left hand quickly came into play,slicing at a diagnal from the imaginary opponents right shoulder to their left thigh.
"It is a lot like dancing while slicing apart your opponent,as you can probably guess; my cunning Matron. The spinning motion is faster than what I have demonstrated and the momentum allows faster, stronger cuts. Where as Draa Velve focuses on using your other weapon as offensive and defensive and perfect balance, Flourantine focuses on spins, speed and accuracy. The good thing about this style is it does not require any specific weaponry, so one could use it with knives, axes,maces, spears, swords and any combination of the five; one could even use it while un armed. I am not quite a ranger,in fact I am told I couldn't hit something like your front gate from more than twenty feet away. I like to get in real close to kill my opponent. To listen to them gurgle on their own blood while I plunge a blade into their sternum,or heart; is like a wonderful melody that I could just fall asleep to." Flamgra laughed and resumed his seating on the couch across from the matron. He was becoming quite comfortable around her.

Lariexith nodded as the drow lead her through his demonstration and she could not help but give a small smile at his efforts. Just from the moments of talking to him she already knew he was going to be her new Weapons Master. But there was still a few questions to be asked, it was just procedure after all. Just to be sure.
Lari reached her index finger out and slowly stroked Keeshe's body, "I hope you understand why I have to ask all of these obvious questions. It seems like you know what you're talking about. But I have to make sure you are the very best. For you will be required to lead my melee army, to train them, and be my personal body guard. So at last, I have to ask, do you think you'll be able to train my warriors and soldiers? Will you help them find their weapon, their style, and broaden their minds?"

"I can and will train your soldiers,the only issue I can see is; I train my troops under extreme conditions. If they are weak I will kill them,if they defy an order I will kill them and if they give up, I will kill them slowly. I will expect the best,I will only train the best,and I will give the best. When they excel they will be rewarded,when they fail they will be punished,if they live long enough." Flamgra said with a laugh,he was a brutal teacher. Yet one will never learn to survive if you teach them mercy, in this life it was kill or be killed.

Lariexith nodded at Flamgra's response and began to dig in her change purse at her waist, "I respect and understand your discipline. But you also have to understand that we do not have unlimited troops. I will need you to work you hardest on them before resulting to death. Most of my soldiers have basic skills but there are a few novices. Which you'll be free to exterminate them if you wish just to make a statement to the others."
The Matron then pulled out two forms and laid them on the coffee table that separated them.
"I'll need you to sign the Commitment Form and this..."

As Weapons Master my duties will consist of:
Leading the House's Melee Army
(to surface raids and against other houses.)
Training the Soldiers, * Assassins, and Warriors of the House
Being the Matron's Personal Body Guard
* Arranging Scout Groups
Patrolling the House (lower levels, outer premises, and dungeons included) on a Daily Basis
* Gathering Information on the other Houses
* Being the Map Maker/ Navigator on any event
Maintaining order in the Melee Quarter
Providing thought and input into decisions when asked
Attending to Events if asked
Attending to Noble Councils
Attending to Mass in the Lolth's Temple daily

I understand that if my duties are not followed out properly, it can result in punishment.
I understand that as a Noble I will have to follow as representative of the House.
As Weapons Master of Tor'afin, I sign this Contract and vow to my duties set.

"I understand,I wont kill them all,I may kill a few to use as an example. But I understand our house is still fresh and are lacking of troops." Flamgra said,smiling as he took both of the contracts. Flamgra pricked his finger on one of his shoulder spikes, signing both contracts in his own blood. Then kneeling before matron Lariexith, his arm across his chest and taking a bow.
"My life for yours,my Matron. My blades and body are yours." He said, looking up at Lariexith. His eyes calm and cold, determination in his eyes.
"What would you have me do first, Matron Lariexith?"
