On the ref, it seems like it's mostly the salmon pink fins that would need adding to the Soq, as the other fins I think are just about right on the lines already. His face should be edited so that he's looking thoughtful, but not smiling. He also has a spiffy beard going on, and a pretty crown. If his head fins could be made bigger like on the ref that would be great. If not it's fine. The only thing that I don't want following from the ref is his icky brown legs. I'd rather you just do his legs in his body colour, with his grey tummy colour on the insides. If not, then it's fine to just do the feathers in orange/red for a fire effect (Ref 2 shows this the best). I've just realised that none the refs show his tail. His tail should just be done in the same orangey-brown colour of his weird little mane (see refs). His coat is a soft greyish-purple colour, and his mane and tail are black and grey. On his mane, the black is at the front and on his tail the black is at the end. He has white hair at the bottom of his legs and his hooves are dark grey. His armour is mostly silver, with the exception of the red horns on his helmet. His eyes are bright red. His face should be edited so that he's frowing. ^^ Other edits are all described below, but really it would be best to just follow the ref pic. His hooves can be done in grey, and his coat can be done in a soft off-white colour. His basket should simply be done in black and white stripes like his pjs, with the bead on the basket looking like one of his eyes. Stubble/beard as shown. MUST have the COG symbol on his armour somewhere, the screenshots will better show this. Brown eyes. Description ::
I'll say this now - this is mostly Colorist Choice. I'll give some concepts that I think might be neat, but I give the colorist full rein over body pattern, edits, etc. I have full confidence in the colorists. Also - Alex is not to be a mutant. All his "mutations" are to be accessories or "clothing" edits only. As much as it'd be awesome to make him a mutant.... I just don't have the funding for it xD Maybe there's more "mutations" that are possible we don't know about, but I'll leave it to the colorist to take on this challenge and see what works.
Body - In the game, Alex is often shown with really pale, grungy looking skin. This rendering of a closeup headshot kind of shows what I mean, as does this shot. Both also show off some of the infected texture I'd like to see over his body. Seen here, it kind of looks like lava with flaming, glowing cracks in it. Or it can be cooled down, with that flaky appearance to it.
Eyes - Can't really find many good screen shots of the awesome view of his eyes you get now and then, best would be either this one or this one so far. But they're supposed to be a very vibrant, beautiful blue, lighter than what's seen in the latter picture, so sort of like a "silver blue" as the first one slightly suggests. Stupid shade from the hood... This one shows some good shadows around his eyes, which I think would be kind of neat to have, though maybe not that drastic.
Outfit - I'll give a few more references for his outfit, but I do not want him fully clothed! Only clothing that would make sense on a horse. I'm fine with him having the hoodie and jacket, in fact I'd love a version with that on since that's what he wears during the whole game. But no pants, no "shirt," unless it's his hoodie and jacket of course. Still though - would like for his outfit to still... well, work on him. Look good, ya know? An action figure to help give a general full body view of his outfit - and, as an added bonus, got one of his mutations in there! An ingame shot, full body, and some cover art from one of the comics.
Hair - So far, haven't been able to find a screen shot with that ONE photo of him without the hoodie, but his brown hair is cut short, kind of "fluffy" and kind of wild looking. Have fun with it, just so long as it doesn't look like the Soq's been given a "buzz cut" of sorts. Tail should be no longer than reaching his knees, though is welcomed to look wild, maybe with some of the infection "wires" winding through it? Again, have at it, have fun.
Other - Hooves are up to you, though this image from the morgue gave me the idea that maybe he should have some blood splatters on him? The gore level in the game kind of helps in this idea, too... x'D <3 For his expression though, I'd like for him to be frowning, or some sort of more serious expression than the stallions usually have.
"Mutations" - My favorite weapon so far has to be the claws of epic doom (back view, plus you can see the design on the back of his jacket here), the blade of epicness, and the whip is pretty cool, too. Since having his front legs be turned into giant clawed weapons wouldn't be allowed, maybe make them look more like "gloves" of some sort? Or clawed "boots," as the more accurate term might be. Perhaps some of the "vines" of the virus have spikes coming out of them, so they wouldn't be out of Alex himself? The whip could even be wound around his tail, to make it look like his tail is the whip, when the "mutation" is really just a nice... er.... potentially dangerous hair accessory? Forget the name of this move, but it helps to illustrate what I mean by "vines" and more textural fun of the virus/"mutations." Here is concept art of the fist hammer.

Description ::
Body - In the reference I have her as a dark, almost black, purple. If you keep that color, or go with a black, is up to you. Same with her markings - though I did put the - spikes? arrows? - going up her legs, I couldn't figure out how to finish them, especially since I don't like them just fading into her body color. I also couldn't figure out where to put the cross beneath the bunny head, so that's another challenge for ya. Or maybe you can already see how everything needs to be, I donno. Not to mention her "mouth" - once I put on the white mouth marking, I realized I liked her with the giant pointy mouth, only... that's a mutant Q.Q Since I can't afford that, nor do I really like having her regular mouth then the marking (looks slightly awkward to me, unless you can find a way to make it all flow together)... er... "have fun"..~?
Hair - Kind of like as-is for my concept - white, choppy, "layered" in a messy sort of way. Her tail would be fluffy and bushy, like a large bunny tail, while the mane just kind of... goes wherever it wants to xD;; <3
Eyes - Simple and red, maybe some fun makeup around them?
Other - Hooves were supposed to be modeled after the spikes/arrows in how they would be golden and pink. Also, for her expression, I'd like it to be a devilish smirk~
Accessories -
"Arm/Leg Warmers" - The idea was just to help throw in some lace, though if you wanted to add more in, if not just change the full design of the warmers, feel free. They could be all lace, or some cloth, some lace, or whatever - just so long as there are some warmers with a good amount of lace. Also added a lacy garter since I figured that'd be kind of fun. Leave it, change it, whateveh~
Belt - I wanted for her to have a cellphone, but couldn't figure out a good way for her to hold onto it so... yay belt! The buckle would be the rabbit head, evil smile and all if possible, and hanging from it on - chains? ribbon? - would be the [ purple and black? ] cell. Along with it though, I'd like little random symbols and such to hang with it - I threw in a bat, a crown, a musical note, and what was supposed to be the Red Skull. Change them, add more in... yay?
Hoodie - Like I said before, I can't afford a mutant, so figured, if I wanted her to have rabbit ears... why not just stick her in a rabbit eared hoodie~? So there you go! Below is the hood I modeled it after, though I didn't add any more symbols and such to it beyond the stripes. Did add in some piercings to the ears since I'd like to keep up with the loli/punk/semi-random concept that's kind of going on there. Obviously you wouldn't see the rest of her hair with the hoodie on, but feel free to change the style of the hoodie, the colors slightly - I do want it to be purple and black - and any little additional trinkets/designs to it. I was thinking a necklace or something would be neat since I would like a version of her with and without the hoodie, your call... just do want to keep the two versions part owo;;; ~<3
