Athrun looked up at the changing sky, he watched the colors exploding across the wide landscape. "The time is coming nearer now, and the ceremony will begin."
Ayaka busied herself with the final preparations and details for the opening ceremony. She checked to make sure the cotton for the cotton drifting was complete and waiting for the civilians to set free the light pieces of cotton. Things seemed to be getting done nicely. When time came for the opening ceremony she believed they would be ready.

people began to gather for the ceremony some wearing traditional offits and the sound of kids playing chasing eachother.
Luna looked at Ayaka and smilied. "Don't worry Ayaka everything is going to be fine." she smilied. "well i have to begin the opening dance so i will see you after it." she said as she got up on the stage. the sound of drums began to fill the air with noise as Luna began to start dancing across the floor gracefully. the moon started rising in the sky, shinning down on the temple.

Athrun heard the beat of the drums. "It must be beginning." he commented leading the way to the stage where Luna was dancing. He removed his camera from his pack and took a couple pictures.
Ayaka nodded, she smiled, pausing from her work to watch Luna dance. She had mastered the dance perfectly. Ayaka looked around, she wondered where Hiro and Kaori were. They would be needed soon.

Luna smilied as she spinned around fast and gracefully at the end of her dance.
Raina watched Luna carefully. 'very fast and gracefull. she could have been the one to do that.' she thought as she took a few pictures.
Luna looked up to see the people claping. she smilied as she bowed to them. "Thank you very much." she said. "Tonight let us celebrate the release of the spirits so they may find a better place to live. Let us cleanse ourself with the cotton drifting. Let the moon shine down bright on this village we call our home." she said as the people began to cheer and clap.
She smilied as she got off the stage and went over to Ayaka. "how did i do? I think it went well." she smilied.

Mint Meow "Why yes sir I am. I am simply curious if you are a resident of this area here, and if you aren't are you aware of the dangers?" Athrun asked, figuring this man should know what was going on.
"No, no I don't live here. My name is Steele, Daniel Steele. I came here to study a strange rumor that seems to have originated from this town." Daniel said extending his hand to Athrun. "What is this danger you speak of sir?"

"You did a lovely job Luna!" Ayaka said excitedly meeting her and offering her an arm to lean on in case she was tired. "That was beautiful!" She hugged Luna.
Athrun returned the handshake. "They are threatening us there. The rumor is that if we do not leave then we will be killed, it is just a warming to you good sir. I want you to know what you are getting into. So will you be joining me when I go join the ceremony?"

"Hmmm...anything in life can become dangerous. I came due to the stories of a mysterious disappearance long ago. I wonder if there is a connection between the threat and the story. So far I have not met any humans besides yourself so far." Daniel said calmly.
"Are you going to go to the ceremony Mr..." Daniel said dressing Athrun formally.

Alyssa scooted closer to Athrun. "I'm worried, I haven't seen Lucian since the ceremony started."
Lucian strolled near the Shrine, snapping a few photos. He looked back at Luna dancing, taking a photo of her. "Huh. Dunno why people are so scared of this place...other than the people threatening us to leave. Maybe that's what got folks spooked." He muttered. Lucian shrugged and entered the shrine.

Luna smilied as she hugged her. "Thanks. Im glad it went well." she said. "Where is Kori? there going to start the cotton drifting soon."
Raina walked up to them. "You did a fine job." she smilied. "you must practice alot to spin that fast and delicatly." she said.
"Well yes i do. and thank you very much." Luna smilied.

"I am sure he is alright." Athrun said stroking the girl's hair and smiled reassuringly down at her. He looked back up at the man. "Yes that is true, but I am thinking this is more than your average danger." He said this softly hoping that Alyssa would not worry. "Yes, Sir, I will be attending. You can call me Athrun." Athrun said reaching out to shake the man's hand. "Forgive me."
Ayaka smiled at Raina, but again she felt this driving urge within her. It was a feeling not easily explained. She looked towards the temple, just in time to see the intruder entering. She leaned close to Luna and whispered to her, "Do you know where I could find a mask?" She asked her softly so that Raina couldn't hear.

"there are some in the back. i will get them." Luna said as she ran off. She came back with two mask, one of a fox and one of a wolf. "Here you go." she smilied handing her the fox. "Be careful." she whisphered to Ayaka.
Raina had seen Lucian go into the shrine and followed behind him. "I wonder what he is up to?" she said.

"More then average indeed if the rumors are true. Let me assure you that this place is indeed ripe with electromagnetic fluctuations and I have seen at least one strange occurrence when I came in. I would suggest everyone that is scared to leave for their own safety. If this place is affected by powerful poltergeists then they will be drawn to strong feelings lie fear." Daniel said as he put is device away. "What say you all now? Can you muster teh bravery to venture further?"

Kaori continued on her way home before she turned to look at where the ceremony was held. She knows she was told to go rest. She just knew she had to get to the ceremony. Her body had to get home though, but she would head to the ceremony to purify the spirits and do her duty. Kaori had to hurry before it was too late.

Ayaka nodded, she had found a couple of long blankets as well. Taking the wolf mask from Luna she placed it over her face. "Will you be coming with me?" She asked Luna.
Athrun nodded. "Yes, this is my job." Athrun smiled, "My life is my job." He shrugged. "I will be staying here."

"Of course. Someone needs to watch your back." Luna giggled as she put on the fox mask and the blankets.
Raina walked toward the shrine and looked in it. "I know i saw those devices in here somewhere." she said as she looked around.
