As Sezer showed up to the dance, finally, Joel couldn't help but smile at his gentle comment towards his appearance. "Why, thank you my Lovely Sezer. I appreciate any comments coming from the great and powerful Sezer." With a little bit of butterfly-like giggles, Joel let Sezer be with Vlaityn, hopefully he will finally make a move on this lovely girl. If not, I will be forced to take her for myself. If I didn't have Sophinette to chase. Dammit, where is that girl. Joel watched the few people dancing, Vlaityn and Sezer, two gryffindors who looked completely opposite in sizes..and two other gryffindors that looked a bit more similar than the ones before. Though, Joel really didn't feel like dancing. All he could think about was that he needed to ground himself, and figure out what he was going to do with his life Why did I even bother going to Hogwarts. My life is set. I am the current owner of a successful bed and breakfast, I have friends, I don't even need magic, and...All I need is a love. If only I could take the lovely sophinette for myself. That lovely ravenclaw, her blond hair, her unique sense of style. Yet, then again there is also the wonders that is Dexter Owens. He is a gorgeous bust of a man, and he still cares about the finer things in life. Like haircare. Ooooooooh. How am I to choose! That is, I don't really have a full choice in the matter, I just have to find out who could possibly be mine. I know! In the span of just a few seconds, Joel had switched his moods to giddy, and depressed, and back to happy. With his right hand, Joel pulled out a quarter from his pocket and placed it in his left hand. Heads is Sophienette, Tails is Dexter. With a simple flip, Joel caught the coin in his opposite hand, and gripped the piece of silver as tightly as he could, making a wish before he opened his fingers. Heads. Sophinette, here I come.

Sezer, still thoroughly amused, though he'd managed not to laugh, even if it wasn't really that difficult a task for the 'almighty pure blooded Ravenclaw', opened his mouth to disagree politely, but seemed to think better of it. "... Let's agree to disagree?" He offered serenely, his hands, though they'd been there a long while, or at least he thought so, he just seemed to notice were on her waist. And, well, he was enjoying himself. Let's just say he was enjoying himself.
Also did he note that Vlaityn had the most musical laughter he'd ever heard. His smile grew a tad at that, and he, being Sezer, attempted to hide it in another comment. "Isn't it interesting? I've seen captains of quidditch teams attempt to bat them way; what are the odds that I'd succeed?"
He returned the smile as best he could. Having a troubled childhood tended to have some affects on you. "And don't worry about it."

"Well, you do have an air that commands respect. But apparently only enough to force the thing to leave." Teasing lightly, Vlaityn leaned in to the dance embrace slightly. Sezer was a comforting figure to say the least. He created a feeling or safety and assurance.
So it was Christmas time. An odd thought for Vlaityn. She enjoyed the holiday plenty, mostly for the food and time with her family, but she never got the infectious cheer and happiness. At least not before this moment. A grin spread across her face. Her day had been made. If not her year.
"Thanks." Vlaityn murmured, referring to her thoughts on how happy she was at the moment.

Sezer nodded, accepting her explanation. As he put faith in her words, and he would say she knew him pretty well. He dryly scoffed at the last part, however. Pixies didn't have any respect. Or any moral standards, for that matter. They'd probably, before the night was over, force at least four pairs of girls and three pairs of guys to kiss. They were just that sneaky. Furthermore -
But Sezer found that he couldn't think quite as clearly as he had been able to just a second prior. Because Vlaityn was close to him. Closer than she had ever been to him before. And, while he quite liked it, being a seventeen-year-old boy, even if he was Sezer, it made him nervous.
After a few moments of intense meditation, he decided to, for once in his safe life, be spontaneous.
He pulled her to him with unsure, yet strong arms, embracing her for two seconds before asking her a question. "... Is this okay?" Truthfully he would've let go. It was the gentlemanly thing to do, but he was afraid that if he allowed himself to let go, that he might not get the courage to get her back.
(Awww~ He's so cute when he's unsure of himself. <33)

Damian had to work hard to suppress a laugh. Anna was indeed the stubborn one, but she rarely conceeded to defeat. Her ankle must have hurt quite a bit for her to let him carry her up to Gryffindor tower.
"As you wish, miss." he said. He chuckled at her arms as she held them forward. He then picked her up bridal style, again, and proceeded to walk out of the Great Hall with her. There was probably no doubt that a few pairs of eyes followed them out as they left for Gryffindor tower. ((Should my next post be in Gryffindor common room?))

The whole entire world stopped turning when Sezer enclosed her with his arms. An earthquake could have struck, Vlaityn wouldn't have noticed or cared. Everything was right. Everything was perfect.
Poking her head upward in the embrace enough to see Sezer, Vlaityn smiled meekly. "It's more than okay. There's no way it would be anything but." She answered genuinely, so perfectly content in the moment.
She'd never had a chance to fully appreciate the tiniest aspects of Sezer. His grip, breathing patters, everything. Why did she have to be so attached to him?

Anna felt her feet whisk out from under her and she looped her arms around his neck. And just as soon as she did she wondered why she did the action. Basically, she found, it was instinct. Spontaneity.
"Thank you, mister." She said gracefully, fluttering just a bit as he walked her up the stairs. She found herself bouncing just a tad with the staircase and she was thankful she'd worn something equivalent to a tux. Very, very grateful. She watched the portraits pass by, ignoring one particularly brave portraits who wolf-whistled.

Sezer grinned widely. "Brilliant." He breathed, surprised by how husky his voice sounded. He attempted to change that, however, by clearing his throat. "That's absolutely brilliant." It didn't work. Encircling her just a bit tighter than he felt was gentlemanly, though, he supposed, he was way past 'gentlemanly' now. Thoroughly deciding not to care, he really began to notice the girl in his arms.
Her dark brown hair was so soft, and, he noticed, it reflected the light very nicely. And her eyes... Merlin, her eyes. They were the loveliest shade of icicle blue he'd ever seen. More brilliant than the aurora australis, he was certain. And she seemed so tiny in his arms. So fragile. So breakable. And he didn't doubt that if someone tried to curse her, even if it be a jelly-legs curse, he'd jump in the way of it.
'Dammit all,' he thought frustratingly, his cheek resting on the top of Vlaityn's head, 'I'm falling in love with her, aren't I? ... And she's not even my girlfriend.
You could change that only too easily, you know.' The little voice in his head reminded him.
'... Maybe I will.'

Did his voice change?
Vlaityn thought her mind might have been conjuring up the whole scene, but as she shifted slightly, she became very aware of the very Sezer-ish form holding her.
Not a dream.
As she breathed out a content sigh, she realized her own breathe was wobbly. All a flutter with emotion. Normally she would have cringed at the display and the stereotypical girlyness of it all, but Vlaityn couldn't care less at the moment. She was in Sezer's arms after all.
"It is brilliant." She murmured quietly into the mass encircling her.
She almost wanted to add a 'Don't ever let go.' But dear Lord, that would have been corny. She almost blushed at the thought.

Sezer let out a breath he thought sounded suspiciously like a sigh, but hope she hadn't noticed. He had asked her to be his girlfriend, hadn't he? More or less. And she'd accepted. More or less. But maybe she didn't realize what she was getting herself into. It was possible. Not that he doubted her intelligence, hardly; it was more so the fact that he had trouble convincing himself when good things happened to him.
And, well, holding his, so to speak, 'dream girl' of the past few months in his arms, close to him, and being able to hear the pattern of her breathing was definitely up there. It was then that he noticed they weren't even dancing anymore. Quite reluctant to let go, though he found, once more, that this girl had affected him in strange ways he would've before thought barmy, how ignorant he was!, that his mind wasn't quite in working order.
"Would you.. like to go for a walk?" He asked pleasantly, embarrassed that he'd needed to pause in his question. What was she doing to him. And, though he'd made the resolution to let go of here moments ago, he found he couldn't quite manage it.

Vlaityn's stunningly bright eyes opened up and and seemed to grow brighter at the offer.
"I'd love to. If you don't mind, of course." Vlaityn couldn't help but grin. He might have just wanted fresh air, but Vlaityn liked to think it was because he remembered her love of walking and snow.
"It's a beautiful night, after all. I can't think of a better thing for it."

Sezer, still very reluctant to do so, even a part of his mind was calling him a dog for liking simply holding her to him so much, let her go. Slowly, his arms dropped to his sides. For a moment, he was quite unsure what to do, but then instinct took over. Valiantly ignoring the light dusting of pink to his cheeks he was certain was there, he offered her his arm.
"Of course I don't mind. I get to be with you, don't I?" He inquired rhetorically.

Vlaityn smiled and took the arm she was offered. "And I with you. I think I'm getting the better deal."
Vlaityn didn't allow the grin to slip off of face as they walked away from the crowd. At this point, it didn't matter if people saw or talked. Nothing was as tempting as a walk with Sezer. Letting her mind wander over him for a few minutes, Vlaityn wondered if her father would like him.
'Dear Lord, SHUT YOUR MENTAL FACE. Her mind scolded her.

Sezer chuckled softly to himself. And I do mean chuckled. This time it had actually escaped his lips. Go figure. Like I said, she had a way of affecting him... He just wasn't himself. Or maybe he was just letting through of himself even he didn't know existed. The first one he was rather partial to, but, admittedly, the latter seemed more likely.
Sezer led Vlaityn through the double doors, past the stair cases that led to the common rooms, and out the great oak front doors. As soon as they stepped outside the world seem to alight before them. There were lanterns hung, as if strategically, in various places. And, well, he hadn't much of an attention span at the moment to notice much else. Walking closer to Vlaityn than he actually felt he needed to, though he largely suspected she wouldn't terribly mind, he decided to strike up conversation.
"What about you? Do you have any plans for after you graduate with flying colors?"
