Layla siezed this sudden oppertunity of being so close to the Noveno Espada to make a move of hostility against her captors. Well, technically Lemo was the only one close enough, and he was just the guard.. But none the less, she kicked out with her long, left leg and aimed at Lemo's groin!
"You ******** thought I was going to let you act like you have no part of this s**t, and treat her the way you did before?" Layla justified.
"I don't know who this b***h is here now, and she might be good new, or bad, but Kuraime dosen't deserve any of this, you all damn well know it..."
She had to admit, this newer version of Kurai intreagued her greatly, and some of her personality quirks struck a fancy with Layla's personality. She felt honored to have called her a b***h, let alone assisted her by kicking the stupid arrancar as well.
There was still a part of her that was wondering about this, 'Datenshi', and what she would have said to Lemo's offer. Clearly they are giving her some sort of, passage now that the others didn't have before... what was it with this woman ?

"Hey shut it, you lot!" Hikari yelled at Layla and Gato.(Haha, cat!) "You're making it hard for me to concentrate and I'm getting angry!" She continued to glare at Hawk except even angrier. Energy was building up in her joints, making her muscles roll with the strain of suppressing herself. Half of her wanted to tear away at the bars. To hack and cleave and let herself succumb to a frenzy. But the other half reasoned that such actions would be useless. She felt a wave of nausea. Poison, the Presence informed her, struggling just as she was. Some of Slash's poison still remains. If you get riled up, its activity will increase. Apparently it's been eating away at one of your major organs. Hikari knew she had enough of a grip on her rage to keep it at bay so she turned to the problem which had immediately sparked her interest. That's not good, she replied. Do you know which one it is? No. I'm sorry, Hijuelo but your body's in utter choas. I can't find it, the Presence said. Hikari could hear the sorrow in his voice. You're hiding something, she accused. What's wrong? Hijuelo, the Presence began after a long silence. I've been hiding it from you but the damage is very serious. You'll probably die soon. Of course, that only made her angrier. Screw that, she thought. When I get out of here I'll go to the fourth squad and get them to fix it. No biggie. She concentrated on slowing down her heart and relaxing her muscles.

Lemo's eyes flashed when he saw the fraccion getting into his refrigerator, but of course, he was already bent over, slightly still in pain from the shinigami's strike. He turned his head and angled it to where hit has would allow him to look at her without turning his back to Datenshi. He then said to her, "You, are of no importance to me, and neither is any of these stupid shinigami gathered in my quarters. Kuraime is just another name, on Hawk's list." Lemo sneered at Hawk, turning back to Datenshi, when he said this. "I am only treating our newer guest here, with a little less...formality" Indeed, for she was certainly something... different from the other shinigami. Perhaps Ezru was right, and she aught to be treated apart from the hostages, but there was only one difference. Lemo thought they aught to have Datenshi not restricted from Las Noches, instead of Kurai.

Left angry and breathless by the sudden manhandeling by Lemo's ice clone, Datenshi stumbled forwards a step as the burningly-cold figure released her in a new cell. The sonido left her momentarily dizzy, but she discerned enough to realize that she was in a new cell. Alone.
It was almost a relief to be away from Eme. That way I won't hurt her, Datenshi began to think. She stopped cold. That wasn't her thought, was it? She bared her teeth. I'm getting soft. Or Kurai's stronger than she lets on. Gritting her teeth, Datenshi willed her consciousness to crush Kurai's, imbuing the poppy seal with greater power to hold the Shihouin princess under.
A warm, tantalizing aroma teased her, and she blinked, suddenly aware of Lemo holding a platter that, to all intents and purposes, appeared mounded with chocolate chip cookies. Her stomach gurgled traitorously, but she ignored the yearning, choosing a sneer instead. "You think I'm that naive? What did you spike 'em with?"
Lemo might have responded, but Datenshi's attention was drawn to the rush of air and Layla's bold declaration as she kicked towards Lemo's...well... you know. The arrancar whom Datenshi had encountered upon awakening had diverted the attack, though.
Layla had also called Datenshi a b***h.
Somehow, Datenshi got the feeling it was more a sign of respect than an actual insult. She laughed, flashing her bright white canines. She cocked her head to look towards Layla. Her blind eyes caught the other girl's and flashed strangely. Her smile was wide as she spoke, "You're sharp-- Kurai's not here, that's true enough, but whether I'm good or bad news is up to my mood..."
Perhaps it was Layla's continued effort to help Kurai that Datenshi added, like an afterthought, "She's safe. Your little princess. She's alseep. Can't feel anything anymore,"
Her blind gaze returned to Lemo, and she snapped at him, teeth coming together with an audible click not but a few inches from his face. She might have bitten off his nose if she felt inclined to add to the scars that already marked his body. "Something you should know. Just because I can feel doesn't mean you can hurt me. You can never. Break. Us, "

"Well, 'Datenshi' I would hope you apply that in everything you do as well. And as you can see, I have not closed your cell door, either.." Lemo told her. And this was true, for the clone turned into snow just in the doorway of the cage, so for now, Datenshi was merely standing there, eyes locked with Lemo. He stepped forward to her, and from the kunuckles-up part of Lemo's hand ice shot to the floor, and a frosted ice-stand appeared, as he pulled his hand out. The cookies were left right there in the doorway, sitting on the small ice-work. Again, Lemo stepped closer, to her, closing the gap between them even more, which was contradictary since she had just snapped at his face moments before. "Your mood, attitude, good or bad.. None of this is really what you are saying. I am pretty sure, you have your own intentions, Datenshi..."

"If that's true, then you'd better watch your step, hadn't you?" Datenshi stood firm, aware of Lemo's proximity. He was daring her to move, and she couldn't deny she felt like biting into his neck. That vulnerable stretch of skin right there, perfectly exposed. She grinned toothily at the mere thought of his blood on her tongue.
"Eat or be eaten," She continued, never giving an inch, though Lemo was easily a foot taller than she. She didn't make a move for the door. She was conscious of the fact that Lemo might just be tempting her. And she wasn't about to be friendly towards him. He'd been hurting Kurai-- hurting my body-- Datenshi corrected herself. "Maybe you're my next meal. Never bend, never break. I'll eat you whole,"

Lemo smiled warmly at her, he could feel her hatred for him, and embraced it warmly as he walked past her. He thought it was funny that Datenshi blamed him for what was going on with Kurai. For this, Lemo stepped to Hawk, and grabbed his collar, jerking the arrancar close to him. "I hope you see what I have to go through, all so you can do your stupid ******** experiments. Mark my words, you'd better watch your back." Lemo's eyes squinted further. "Maniak may be amused at your actions, but I am not. And I am increasingly, more than regretting having to use my personal space for your insolent trifles." Lemo let go of the fraccion, and stepped to the side, glancing at Datenshi, as she was still where he left her, standing in her doorway with the platter of cookies. "Though, I cannot say it was a full waste-of-my-time."

Though she hated to let that tempting plate of cookies go, she wasn't fool enough to actually eat them. Plus, venting her rage might feel just as good as eating the cookies would. With a feral smile, she hefted the still-warm plate and hurled it at Lemo's retreating back.
She didn't cross the threshold of the cell, though. She might be reckless to a fault, but she was far from stupid. There were other arrancar around, all of whom seemed far less willing to grant her freedom. If they tried to seal her cell, they would have problems, but, as of now, she was content to tease and torment and scheme. She was getting out. And she'd probably try free the rest just to give these arrancar bastards hell.
In the meantime, she had to wait until the Primera Espada's irritating technique had worn off. Though she knew she was quick and strong, dangerous even without power, she also knew the caliber of her enemies. She couldn't beat them without her reiatsu to give her the speed she'd need. She would bide her time.
She wouldn't be afraid to snatch at opportunities for freedom if they came her way, though. The arrancar who thought she was a 'specimen' was going to have to watch himself.

Hawk appeared with a sudden blur in front of Datenshi, as she was thrown back by the force of her door slamming. Hawk had used sonido, and closed her into her cage all in one swift motion. Obviously Hawk could have caught the cookies before impact with the espada, but Hawk and Lemo were a complicated pair to describe, and hated eachother since way before this incident. Aslo, his obvious reason for doing this to Datenshi was that he did not trust the 'shinigami' not to escape. The cell door slammed into Datenshi since she was tryingt to stay near the door. This was foolish of her, because she was obviously in the door's path. Leaning in, Hawk addressed the girl, who must now be furious indeed. "Datenshi, I would suggest against any rash behavioral leaps you might have in store... Because they will not help." Hawk glared at Lemo. That arrancar had some kind of niceness about him to those he favored. Hawk knew this, because Lemo was not the only one who could survey anyone, and saw that in the sereitei Lemo was exceedingly nice to the Lieutenant 'Xeion Kuchiki' and instead of trying to kill him, he befriended him. This would not happen to one of Hawk's posessions...not at all.

Kurai was hurled back by the force of Hawk's approach. Her back crunched sickeningly against the far wall of the cell, but she righted herself with an angry growl. She crouched on the floor, hands brushing the ground in front of her as she shook her head to rid herself to the dizzying ring.
The unmistakable rush of air as the cell door reformed made her blood boil. She bounded towards the door, face contorted in a soundless snarl. She threw herself against the bars, attempting to catch it open before it was completely closed. The bars with which she collided were quite solid.
Datenshi clasped the bars, shaking with poorly-suppressed rage. "You b*****d," She spat, wishing she could tear Hawk's eyes out. "You b*****d. Let me out. I'll kill you!"

(( Strange that Mari's never been here - it would be her favorite place, considering what she considers as power. Ah well...she's an Espada, I'd assume she's allowed in. ))
Mari gave a small giggle as she stepped out of a shadow in the corner. She'd used a garganta to get there and watch the prisoners, and now she stepped into full view of the one renegade shinigami. "And where would you get after that, shinigami? You kill him...and you have at least three of us to deal with right now."
Mari laughed. "We hold your life in our hands, shinigami. If I so wished, I could have you dead, as could any one of us here. You will do as we wish, for you have no other choice but to kneel at our feet and accept your fate. We are power, shinigami, and you are the instrument through which we convey our power. We are the High and you are the Low, and we shall remain the High, while you shall remain the Low."
Mari touched one of the shinigami's hands, stroking it. "Death...death is nothing to fear. There are things worse than death, shinigami. Many things. If I wished, right now, I could take a camera and start filming you obeying my orders. I'm sure that Lemo would not mind if I borrowed his instruments in order to make sure that you followed an order to...hm, now what could I order for you, shinigami? Many, many things...if I so wished, I could order you to strip naked in front of the camera and perform any act on yourself that I wished, and I could take it on camera. I would, of course, make sure that the recording got into the hands of someone you held dear..."
Mari stepped to the side slightly, reaching for a dial. There were a few of these next to each cell, each marked. The one she was touching was marked 'Bars', and it had different settings on it, all the way from twelve to 240, as well as an off setting, which the dial currently rested at - however, below the dial was marked "x1000", meaning that the actual values were a thousand times what the dial read. "Now tell me...who do you respect the most? Who do you hold most dear...who would you most hate to see something like that?" Mari turned the dial to 12, which would send a painful 12,000-volt current through the cell bars - it would be painful, but the amperage was low enough that it wouldn't cause lasting harm. She gave a ten-count, then turned the dial back to off. "Tell me...or I turn up the power."
(( It's not voltage that matters, it's amperage - voltage is the force of the current, amperage is the actual amount of electricity. I've been shocked by 30,000 volts before - it was really painful, but the amperage was very low (not even close to one amp) because it was a spark plug wire that I got shocked by. Datenshi will be in a lot of pain from the shock, but she won't actually be harmed, though her nervous system will also go nuts for a bit.
I'm just including it because it makes sense for each cell to have built-in torture devices - it wasn't noted in the description, so I'm just using a bit of artistic license here. For the purposes of torture, there would be one for the bars, one for the walls, one for the floor and one for the bed. ))

Kevin had been typing on Lemos computer with his uplink to the sereitai, he wasn't sending information to them, he was doing some research. A Garganta opened up and a female arrancar, or maybe an Espada came out. 'Shes kinda hot.' He thought towards Mari. "And where would you get after that, shinigami? You kill him...and you have at least three of us to deal with right now." The Espada said. "Thats four!" Kevin said raising his hand.
Kevin minimized everything and left the USB Sereitai uplink in Lemo's computer, he got up from his seat and walked over to a cell looking inside at a Shinigami. "Hmm." He hummed, he turned away his Black captains jacket fluttering up a little from him turning around walking to the prisoner Mari was interrogating. "I suggest you do what she says." He said in a low tone before walking off to the side.
