Ruri laughed and looked at Rikku. "Don't worry. I'll try to remedy that problem so maybe we won't have to walk so much next time. I don't mind being a personal steed." She looked at Mizu and frowned. Ruri didn't like the smell of him at all and she wrinkled her nose again. She looked towards Maia and wondered if she felt the same thing. "Rikku is a little too trusting I think..." Ruri thought to herself as she tensed her muscles waiting for something to happen.

"Some where around here there should be a hidden switch...." She said looking around.. "The harpy tribe lives High up in the trees.. so creatures that cant fly have a hard time getting up to it." She stated moving some moss and continuing to look. "So they made a platform that will rise and fall when a switch is flipped... however, I always have such a hard time finding the damn thing." She said continuing to search.

"Harpies? You made allies with those creatures? On the surface of the sea, we call them Sky Witches, very barbaric, but these hopefully are different."
Mizu remembered having to fight the creatures of the skies, which was difficult since he couldn't swim well in his armor during such battles and had to command instead of lead the front lines against Sky Witch raids, was incredibly difficult. Hopefully these Harpies weren't the same as the Sky Witches he fought back at home. This group was heading to the Tree of Life, which was perfect. If Mizu could somehow destroy it, there would be no need to kill the High Priestess. What was even more interesting is that one of the women in this group he had joined might be the High Priestess, but whom?

"HEre it is!" She said pushing a hidden switch that was hidden under a rock that was under a root that was covered in moss. Suddenly the ground beneath them lifted and rose skywards.
"Halt who goes there." A Harpy sentry asked as we rose up to the top, a very large canopy of tree houses connected by rope bridge, for those who couldn't fly.
"It is just me and my companions." Rikku said bowing gracefully I have something I need to talk to someone about."
"Of course Mi'lady go right on ahead... but shouldn't you be back in town for the day of oracles is soon..." He stated letting them pass.
"I know, I know, don't worry we will be back on time... Now Ruri how do we find a teacher for you...?" SHe asked... not really knowing what to do now.

Tai dove under water as well. "why are we hiding? we could take on that one person." He asked confused.

Ruri grinned at the Harpy sentry as she walked by and waved. "They are so going to kill me..." she mumbled through gritted teeth and made sure her kimono was straight. Looking around and noticing the trees and the bridges, Ruri remarked, "This place hasn't changed very much, but then again thats why I left in the first place." She sighed and looked up at the sky getting brighter through the treetops. Shivering as she awaited for the sun to finally come up, Ruri smiled at Rikku after she asked her that question. "Well we could try my old master? Hopefully, he's still alive...and if he is, maybe he won't be too angry?" She laughed sheepishly.

"Thats not the kind you want to mess with. They never travel alone, and are mostly in groups." Jewlet said as she looked at him and shook her head. She knew to well of some of the land beings.

As if on cue, as soon as the platform began to rise, Maia reverted to her human form in a puff of red smoke, "Well, do the Harpys have den-mothers like the Fox tribes??? The den mothers were often the ones that tried to teach me to hunt. Either that, or we could force it out of one of the leaders, 'cause, y'know, we have a secret weapon." She looked to the Sea Warriors' eyes to see if a flash of recognization would appear. She was still abashed by the Chillpox disease of course, but she couldn't get infected with worldly diseases, she was a spirit.
She came up next to Ruri, so close that she could practically grab her life force without her noticing, "We'll have to watch our water friend here, Rikku might feel obliged to let him in on our personal businesses, but I'm not so keen....."

"You are obviously more than a traveling sorceress are you? Could have fooled me, I didn't expect someone so young to be held in such high regard."
Mizu was beginning to think this girl was the High Priestess, but she seemed far too young though. It didn't matter; Mizu had to gain their trust before acting at all. It was also dawn and everyone was awake, it would be foolish to act now in front of so many eyes. Apparently the fox had relations with this tribe of winged beasts. If this master was indeed a man, this girl could very well be trained by the Phoenix King of the Harpy Tribes. A male harpy outside of the royal blood line was rare and only one male was allowed in the blood line every life time or so. However, judging by Ruri's doubts that he lived suggested that maybe her master wasn't exactly a harpy or had an uncertain life term, only pointing to the fact her master couldn't possibly the Phoenix King himself. Mizu had often put his military strategy against the Phoenix King and it often ended in a stalemate due to the Harpy Military being air based and the Water Army being water based.

Katsu wasn't wearing his armor at this particular time but he was racing to go get it.He was swimming at high speeds and he stopped and got into his armor.He made sure his swords were in place on his shoulder and his broasword was at his hip.He swam away and walked on land,the armor of course was just a precaution.

Sunia went off to help a fox get out of a trap. She took to her human size. "It's ok I'll free you." Roots came out of the ground and opened the trap. She pulled out a plant as the roots did that. After the fox was free as rubbed the plant on the foxs bleeding leg. Taking water from the sea near by healed it rest of the way. She patted it head and the fox went on.

"Ok... so where is he..." SHe asked walking around, before looking back at Mizu peculiarly. "It just comes with the title." She smiled assuming he knew.
"I suppose you are righ- Hey what is he doing!" Tai shouted looking over at Katsu who had just blindly walked onto the land. "He will be killed, Is he insane!"

Katsu drew his broadsword,when he didn't see anybody he walked ack into the water and dove under.He droppped his armor and his broadsword off and swam away.He came up behind Tai and Jewelet.He saw Tai staring at where he had just been,"Were you worried about me?" he asked.

"Wow, a sea warrior without his armor." He said looking back at Katsu shocked. "I have never even seen lord Mizu without his armor... most sea warriors never take it off... they call it dishonerable or something.... and what was that all about.. .just randomly going up on land... sounds dangerous to me."

Sunia looked up when she heard someone come out of the water. She quickly took to her fairy size and hid. "Another water soilder." She whispered. She watched him go back in the water. She took back to her human size and walked to the waters edge. "This, what ever is truely going on is getting on my..." She gritted her teeth and looked in the water.
Jewlet looked at Tai and shook her head. "He's a water soilder." She crossed her arms. "I wasn't but he was." She pointed at Tai and laughed. "Oh this is a mess, but it's fun." She grinned wildly and did a flip. "Well it's easier to pick them out if they have their armor on when they are on land." She said. "A lest I think so."
