Hikari glared after Razil.
"What a jerk. Do I really have to be teamed up with him? He obviously doesn't have any patience for lower ranks," she said quietly. "Not that I'm complaining but he'll get so many others killed like that. That attitude is better suited for solo missions, if you ask me."
She shivered and glanced down at the soaked lower half of her uniform.
You have gotta be kidding me! she thought angrily. I'll catch a cold or something from this.
Wait, Hijuelo, the Presence cautioned. Remember your little temper tantrum at the temple? What was your reiatsu like then?
Hikari did remember. The reiatsu that had felt like fire. She winced as her ankles remembered-with a twinge-being scorched. She concentrated, letting her anger at Razil and the shinigami burn through her and heat her reiatsu. She didn't know much about area control when it came to her energy. She just tried to keep it as close to her as possible, warming her clothes until they were dry. Though Hikari used as little of her reiatsu as possible, she was left exhausted.
It's been a long day and you haven't slept yet, the Presence explained to her. Try to pull through, Hijuelo. Use that reserve energy that always showed up in times of desperation before you died.
Hikari silently agreed, took a deep breath and found she could stand a little easier. It was then she realized that she was still holding the small container filled with the ointment that Tenrai had given to her in the bar.
"Hey, Tenrai," she said, loudly enough for him to hear. "I forgot to give this back."
She tossed it to him and added, "Sorry about being such a jerk at first. I was in a bad mood."
It was a poor excuse but hopefully no one would question her.

Tenrai wasn't paying attention to Hikari much until he felt a force pushing threw the air at him. Still without looking, Tenrai reached his hand up into the air and snatched the container. In the same motion Tenrai slid the container into his robes. "Thank you Hikari, I was begining to wonder where that went to. Don't worry about being rude, I understand you have had a rough day." said Tenrai turning towards her. "I believe that they have put you on the same group as me." Tenrai finnished with a smile.

Hawk appeared, walking out of the garganta with his lance sticking halfway out of his sash, the most of it in, the large handle was out. He had both his hands in his pockets, and he did not say anything, with his eyes squinted, not in boredom but in examination of those gathered.

"I am fraccion, Hawk." his eyes rested on the one called, 'hikari'. "Some of you may recognize me. I work for the 8th Espada, and you will all do well to scatter now."
Hawk's words were emotionless, and there was barely even irony in his words when he mentioned the girl he almost killed before.

Hawk turned around, facing his back to the remaining shinigami. He had the first grin on his face in a long time under his muzzle-like mask. He then stepped towards the garganta, and stopped. He turned around on his heel, glancing at those left. He saw also that Maniak didn't move either. This was bothersome because Hawk could not do anything without his test subjects. They were all currently contained within Maniak's power, so he was forced to wait on his espada leader for further directions.
He then got a sly thought. And he thought maybe his counterpart didn't want these dotards to overreact in thinking he had killed their comrades.
"Please, pardon my manners." Hawk began. He counted silently in his head the shinigami whom were stil left in the room.
Slash, Tenrai, Oath, Yamoto, and Rawtoon. that was 5 shinigami left there to witness this occurance. very containable...
"You should no longer worry about the shinigami you were surrounded by. Maniak now has them prisoner in the shadow realm. You cannot reach that dimension without the use of Maniak's personal experience with that zanpakuto. He has them contained there, and will not hesitate to disband them if you attemtp anything, so please don't press the issue." again Hawk's words were blank and emotionless.

Kevin appeared on the scene of the little conversation between arrancar and Shinigami. "Hello everyone." He said in a Pope like tone with his arms outwards and slightly in the air, he lowered them to continue his next part of his little speech. "I am one of the few, or one of the many Vizards joining up with the Arrancar." 'for now.' He added in his mind. "I hope you all have a pleasant day, now. I must take my leave." He said as he walked through the Garganta that was already made. "See you guys on the other side." He said in a friendly tone to the two Arrancar in the room.

Tagg slams down on the rooms foyer and stares at her fallen old friends.
She gives a small chuckle and dissipates into the portal. Two blurs fly past her and could barely be seen, except...they wern't the Arcania Captains like before...
