Kailgrim: Yay, though i'm very fine on the line here. Yes, he's a pretty good guy with regards to argumentative skills, but he really needs to learn the great side to research. Abortion is a very hard topic for many people to discuss. Most religions are completly against it, but I personally think that abortion is a perfectly fine thing.
If you were a young woman just starting to explore your sexual side, and you had no apartment, no job, and you lived with your parents it's not to bad is it? All you have to worry about is taking care of yourself. But what if you had one night of fun? With someone you truely loved and cared for? And ended up pregnant. What would you do?
If you choose to keep the child inside of your small young body, not only will you have to give birth to the child (Which is much harder if you are young), but you also have to take care of, and raise the child. Once you child reaches a certian age, he/she will relize that you had it young. If other children their age find out that their mother had them so young, teasing and bulling could start. I know this because my mother had me when she was only 15 year old. since people knew that, why often caled my mother a whore, a slut, easy, you name it. I have had a not so good life because my mother had me so young. Also if you are a young teen, age 14, and something happens where you get pregnant. The age 14 it's self is a hard age, add the pain and mocking from being pregnant and a lot of girls would not be able to handle it.
The abortion pocedure is perfectly safe and healthy. Also when you get an abortion the small fetis inside of you is not yet a living thing. It is infact not a living thing until 3 months into the pregnancy. Although many anti-abortion ads and signs say "Hard times pass, abortion last forever." It is the oposite. By having a child young you are not only hurting the rest of your life, but also creating a life that won't be so well off.

Kailgrim PM'd Yuko back, commenting on an issue he had not addressed that I had asked about. He basically said that he believes Intelligent Design should be taught without naming any god.
What he doesn't understand is that, no matter how you cut it, the Intelligent Designer is a sort of God and is nonetheless related to religion.
This makes me take back my yay and make it a maybe, even possibly a nay.
nasser4 has continually been unable to provide a substantial argument, and has really just given his opinions. He gets a nay.
for [Emo-Fairy], I'm thinking yay, as she's capable of conscious thought, but I sort of have to wonder about the accuracy of some of what she's saying. However, abortion stuff is not my specialty, so I'm not positive.

I disagree partly in what she has said. Abortion is not "perfectly safe", there are risks, just like with pregnancy. And while I do find the motto she mentioned (hard times pass, abortions are forever) agreeable, I do understand the reasons why some would-be mothers consider abortion a heavy option.
I disagree with one of her choices of reason for abortion, which is the taunting and name calling. True, it is hurtful, but not a reason for aborting. I don not consider it such. In fact, I don't find a mother keeping the child as worthy of insult, but of praise. I'm not saying abortion is disgraceful, but some girls have been reported to give birth and dump the newborn in a trashcan. Not only that, but some have given birth in a school dance and minutes after dumping the child they're out there on the dance floor. Now, that's a whore.
I give her a Yay, but I disagree with some of her reasoning, even if it is from personal experience.

Lord Vyce I'm not saying abortion is disgraceful, but some girls have been reported to give birth and dump the newborn in a trashcan. Not that it's relevant, but that happened at my school. sad It was not cool.

I'm thinking "nay" for Kailgrim. While he can, as has been acknowledged, think, he shouldn't just go forming decisions without sufficient knowledge. That's the problem with so many Americans. sad
I'm also saying "nay" for that emo whatever girl. She needs to get her facts straight, as with the one before.

Nay. I can see why. I mean, I like his "de facto" attitude, but he's aiming that gun at entirely the wrong target. His view on abortion? Quite limited. I think abortion is a horrible thing as well, but you don't see me acting that way.
As for fetishes, he must be joking. "a**, legs and p***y" aren't fetishes unless you can't orgasm or even experience pleasure without them. And that's just the tip of the Iceberg. Nay from Teh Cap'n.

I didn't even see the request.. However the things he listed aren't fetishes. Fetishes tend to focus on specific things. Like some people have a long n****e fetish, and such. Just adding my two cents as irrelevant as it may be.

This in: Kaze_Jin Gay Rights and/or Marriage: To whom it may concern, I am a straight white male. I eventually plan to get married, have kids the whole nine yards as it were. But I find it disturbing that our country, and most others, Have almost strictly forbade the marriage of those couples not of the male and female combination. Why? I have asked myself and others. The most common answer i recieve is, Its against gods laws. Whose god ever said they are not allowed to do what they wish? As far as my mental recollection goes the 'holy books' never stated they would stop one of gods children from doing as they wish, only that there would be repercussions in the afterlife for each 'sin' they commited. I understand where they are coming from though, They have been mainly brought up on a strict belief that if the 'bible' or which book they follow says it is wrong for them, it is wrong for all. So it is understandable that they would not appreciate the wants and needs of those who do not follow and would wish to go against there beliefs. But, it is not the bible that stops these people from doing as they wish. It is the government who does so. The government and the so called Seperation of Church and State act, that apparently has nothing to do with this. The government whose soul purpose of establishing this country was freedom of beliefs and execution of thier life without a government saying what they believed was wrong or not. This has not been the case in the last two or three decades as many have attempted and been turned away to get there marriage legalized or accepted by the government. Why they are turned away is, in my thought, personal opinions taking the place of freedom and rights. I think this is the most unrighteous heiracy that our government could commit. For as long as the United States history goes back ther have been battles fought and fought again for the rights of under appreciated citizens. Women, Blacks, Teens, and now Those of Diverse Sexuality and 'Love' are being told what they can and cannot do whereas others are not. Is this not a form of segregation? Yes, you are a citizen, they say, but no you do not get to do the things other citizens do because you are different, i hear. Where is the equality in this? Where have the rights of american citizens gone? Are they no longer existent? If I, a straight male, am allowed to take a woman as my beloved, and recieve a goverment bestowed tax relief from it... why not a gay male or woman? If a company cannot judge a person based on race, religion, looks, or sexuality for most hriing purposes... then how does our government get to ignore this piece of freedom? That is all I have to say on this matter. I am not personally gay or favor gay choices, but I do favor the right to choose! Which they have been clearly denied. May Justice Be Served, Joshua D. Long
