Immediately springing to life, Red ran around the invisible perimeter line she was behind, out of the path of the boulder before it came crashing down as she yelled out some short syllable of a word. Her clothes instantly began to saturate, and as though it weren't enough, she was again pulling moisture from the sky back to the ground, making everything in the area noticeable wetter.
About 30 feet to her left she stood and directed a swift bullet of liquid at the beast in the crater. She was almost confident it would do nothing and leave not even a tiny scratch, but she had to be sure personally just how strong the scaly hide was.
If you need to think then shut the hell up talking to us and think! She really was trying to be concerned...but maybe she just didn't want to be burdened with guilt. Either way, wasting time telling them to leave wouldn't get the job done any sooner. Her eyes fell upon Unks, with a cold, disrespectful glare.
"So what? I'm too weak to fend her off, but you're not? You want me to leave, start by setting a good example. Otherwise shut up and deal with it."

As the bullet struck it spattered as if a drop of rain against the beasts armored skin. Roaring angrily the massive hunched over a low growl erupting from its form. Exploding forth from its back two massive bone like appendages extended.
Splitting across their lengths several razor sharp blade like projections issued forth from the bone taking on the appearance of metallic wings. Returning to is full height the great beast released another earsplitting screech craning its neck as if trying to acclimate to the new weight
Shooting its gaze up to its skull spit once again and it issued forth a barrage of several spheres of white light at its intended target. Though far from being as powerful as the crater maker. Each was still quite potent.
Steadyings its tail the great beast flapped its wings massive whirlwinds kicking off the ground from the sheer force. Exploding off the ground a massive shock wave traveled across the ground shredding the earth in Reds Path.
I think this is all a defense mechanism to keep me alive after I'm injured. I was pierced through my back earlier. You might be able to knock me out by......auuugh!!
I WILL HAVE SILENCE!! I MUST HAVE PEACE!!

That screeching was getting to be a most terrible sound and her spine received more and more chills with each one. If she could at all stuff some peanut butter down the beast's throat, she wouldn't hesitate at all.
To make matters worse, it seemed the creature had issued balls of pure energy toward the two man party, and though Red didn't quite know what they were, she knew they were dangerous. Turning to flee, she found herself nearly cut off as the whirlwinds which tossed her hair about preceded an earth tearing shock wave.
So she took to the trees, though she was careful to retreat rather than advance, just another yard are so though. She very much would have liked it were Epithany to have finished her thought, but naturally she'd be cut off by the behemoth that had taken reign over her body and damn near her mind. Her own mind was full of nothing, just a slate that she was writing on as she set up plates of ice to meet up with each passing ball of light coming her way, keeping a safe distance in each possible circumstance.

::Unks listened to the two sided conversation and a smirk came to his lips. He stayed in the air watching to see if Red was still alright, and also watching the beast. He moved closer to it but still a safe distance away whereever that was.
He locked his mind with Epithany's and kept it there. This was the one way to beat it and Unks was the only one he knew besides Furor who could handle this sort of job::
"Sorry, but I can't sit back and allow you to lock my wife inside of a shell and then tell her to be silent. I don't care if you are trying to protect her. I can do that just fine. Hang on love, you'll be back to your oldself in no time!"

Foolishly try to talk to his Wife psychically the creature issued forth a mental screech what would reverberate repeatedly through is mind 10 times louder than it was in reality. Moving with agility not befitting its size the Dragon opened is maw attempting to bite into Unks like a shark.
Spiralling in mid air as to not allow for a clear attack to is back, if it was successful in biting its prey it would fling his body down on the other like missile.
The beast would not be a easy take down.

::Unks took hold of his head as the beast screeched inside of his mind. His eyes opened a bit fuzzy but he still noticed a large mouth coming his way. He asended quickly into the air to get out of the way. He turned his body and watched the dragon.
He closed his eyes and reopened them trying to regain their focus. He looked at Red who seemed to be doing well, but they needed to work together. Unks moved his hands from his eyes and made sure his ice blue eyes were locked on the beast::
"Damn it. .I didn't know that could happen. I haven't a clue how to stop this. Think Unks think. .Your the genius here!"

Quite an elegant creature despite its brutish appearance. It was definitely something Red could appreciate, although perhaps during a more peaceful conference. For now she was on her watch, Unks was to be attacked and if need be, despite her personal reservations, she would have to protect him as she could. It was better that he be a target anyway considering he was likely her superior in speed and strength. He'd be more capable up close.
Since it seemed Red wasn't a primary target, which wasn't at all a problem to her, she kept her calm and waited. No point in attacking something you couldn't harm. Of course at least Unks was trying to help Epithany. It may be a good idea for Red to free herself of some of those stigmas and just use a mental attack. Of course, at her level, it'd be a mere distraction. Considering this she hesitated to think it through.

Following its missed bite, the great beast swirled high into the heavens, hovering above the clouds. Obscured from view from the two below the air once again began to grow still as similar shockwave than that of which created the massive crater below issued forth from the heavens, enough to knock Unks from the air with sheer force.
The Blinding glare of the charging breath weapon could be seen. This one was going to be greater than the one before it. All Epithany could do was scream inaudibly within her mind.

Rushing through the tree tops, leaping agilely from branch to branch the fox sage began to chant in his normal gutteral tone. It had been awhile since he had last returned to the area. This was far from what he expected to be seeing. The Elder Dragon was supposed to be sealed. How did the seal break?
Perching atop a tree branch he drew his great blade from its sheath pointing it into the sky where the blinding glare was forming. The next moment the sky grew dark as his spell finished.
Arching forth in a shaft 8 feet wide, a great lightening bolt struck down atop the Dragon that was once his pupil. The swirling clouds parted as the energy crackled down. He doubted the cloud burst was enough to damage that hard skin. But it would at least break the charge of the Breath weapon.
"This better work"

::Unks' body hit the ground from the force of the shock wave. He bounched off the impact with a hand backflip and landed on his feet. He looked into the sky to see the elder dragon still in the sky coming torwards him.
Unks wasn't sure what was in her mouth all he knew is that it wasn't fire that was going to be coming out of it. His eyes scanned the sky noticing it was getting darker and then a lightning bolt hit her. He jumped back to get a better view and to see who caused it.
Unks looked over at Red and quickly made his way over to her. He looked at her as he stood there::
"Can you distract that thing with your mental powers while I free Epithany?"

She stood in silent anticipation as one moment there was a shockwave, and the next, something that didn't look like fire began charging in the dragon's mouth. Not really wanting to know what it was for fear that it would hurt or maybe kill her, she was relieved and a bit stunned to see all of a sudden her one lesson mentor storm the scene with a thunderbolt crashing down upon the large beast.
Amazed as she was that he was actually still around, it took her a moment to bring herself to, at the very moment that Unks came up to her, saying something about using telepathy as a weapon.
"...I find it very unorthodox and very rude without consent," she answered matter of factly, however with a sight she added, "but it doesn't seem like that bad an idea at the moment." Part of her was sure there was something else they needed to do, as she had noticed that Epithany had mentioned her back before fading out and that the dragon before them now had taken careful measures to protect it. If this failed, she would try her own plan.
"Say when."

An explosion followed by the erratic hiss and crackle of electricity arching down its body the great beast was knocked silly spiraling down from the surprise attack from above . Shakily gathering its bearings as it plummeted through the sky the massive creature spread its wings once again issuing a lighter shock wave its wake upon its prey below.
Still dioriented it hovered above roaring nonsensically. If there was a chance to do anything. Now was the time.
