I have found that I do not believe what most Christians believe about this subject. I believe that Jesus is a part of God, yes, but also seperate from God. So, God and Jesus are not the same person. What are y'alls beliefs on the subject?

Our minds are not capable of grapsing what its saying. We are just to dumb and simple minded (to put it bluntly). So lets all take a good word from Victum and chill.

What are y'alls beliefs on the subject? from what i understand, god is the father and jesus is the son. because jesus was created by god and is god's son, him and god are equal. it's almost like saying "difference of properties, but sameness of substance" but that's what i think stare

Okay, here's the lowdown on the God and Jesus, we say that he is the son of God. Yes. but he IS God. The Godhead, which is referred to as ONE. We can't understand that which is God. We use the convenient terms that are within our knowledge of understanding but we can't fathom the depths in which God functions "Your ways are not My ways, your thoughts are not My thoughts."

I believe that they are separate beingings. I mean, Jesus spoke to God and called him Father...that's not something that one normally does to themselves. Also, if they were one in the same why would Jesus ask God to forgive the people for killing him instead of just forgiving them himself? Also, why would God set apart Heaven to be Jesus' kingdom if he was Jesus? Why not just take it since it is his creation and not say that it belonged to Jesus?

Ok, so why would the devil try to temp Jesus if he was God, The devil would have known he was God and there would have been no point.
Devil: " hey Jesus i can give you all these kingdoms!"
Jesus: " No thanks they are mine already because I'm God remember"
Devil: " Right forgot you were God ....well have a nice day sir"
