Card Game Rules written by Zero the hunter
Turns:
The order of the play is decided by the character's Speed stat. The one with highest Speed goes first.
In each turn a character can do 1 of these actions (Move, use item, change equiped item, or do nothing). Then he decides one of this actions (Attack, use another item, use special skill, nothing).

Movement and Attacks:
The movement of a character is decided by the Speed stat. One can move the number of squares equal to his Speed stat. Movement must be done horizontal or vertical to the map, diagonal movement is not permited.
Attacks are separated into 3 types: Physical, Long Range, and Magic. Physical attacks are done from 1 square diagonal or vertical to the character, physical attacks use the Power stat. Long Range attacks use the Technique stat, the distance of the attack is equal to half of the character's Technique stat. Magic attacks use the Special stat, the follow the same rule as Long Range attacks. Magic attacks are the only attacks that take in count the character's element.

Fighting:
When fighting someone, you must throw 2 dices of 8 sides. The first dice decides the chance of hitting and the second dice is the damage. In order to hit someone, the number of the first dice must be equal to or less to the stat number of your attack. In case you throw 1 in your first dice, the second number (damage) is doubled.

Example of a fight:
Captain Pirate is 4 squares away from a zombie. His Speed stat is 3 so he moves 3 squares to be infront of the zombie. He decides to use a Physical attack that takes in count his Power stat. He rolls two dices and makes 3 and 7. His Power stat is 5, so he hits the zombie and deals 7 damage.
Now is the zombie's turn and he decides to use Physical against Captain Pirate. He rolls two dices and makes 6 and 4. The zombie's Power is 5, due to his first roll is higher than his Power stat, he misses and we ignore the second number.
Now Captain Pirate's turn again and he moves away 1 square and uses a Long Range attack. He throws a 1 and an 8. Since it's Long Range we take in count his Technique stat which is 3. He hits the zombie, but since his first roll is 1, the damage is doubled. So instead of being 8 of damage it will be 16 of damage.
Zombie has 15 life points, so with 7 + 16, the monster is dead. Each time a monster dies, the one who killed it gains an item randomly choosen.

Reading Cards
There are 2 major card groups. Characters and Boost. Boost cards are separated into 4 types of cards: Item(green), Event(blue), Trouble(dark red), and Place(yellow).

Item cards.
User Image

Let's take this as an example. The name of the card is on the top left. The card element is on the top right corner (in this case, nitemare). Below it is the type of item.
User Image
They are 8 item cards. Weapons that are shown with a sword: max 2 per character. Accesories that are shown with a necklace: no limit for a character but only in some cases. Defense that are shown with an a armor: max 1. Technique items that are shown with a scroll: they are like magic items and are used only once. Food items shown with a food icon: they are mainly used to cure stats, life or do other stuff. Headgear shown with a helmet: max 1 per character. Spells shown with a book: they are spells usable only once. And Misc items shown with a talisman on it: this include bombs and 1 use magic objects. On the bottom right is the card rareness: 1 star is normal, 2 stars is uncommon, 3 is rare, and 4 is mystic. On the square below the image there is the effect of the card, sometimes the items have 2 effects or multi effect that you have to choose between them.

Event
User Image

Event cards are cards that affect the entire game, some of them have temporary effects. They have the element on their top right corner.

Trouble
User Image

Trouble cards are mainly used to affect the other player's game. They are like trap cards in Yu gi oh. They usually do negatif effect on the enemy.

Place
User Image

This cards affect the player's. They specify an aligment, they are like field cards.

In RPs, the cards cost the number of their stars x10. A card with 1 star costs 10 while with 2 costs 20. Prices may vary depending on the Game Master.

Character cards:
User Image

These cards have the character's name on the top left, their aligment on the top right of the image. Their element is on the lower left corner of the image. Characters have 20 life points (quick fight) to 40 life points (normal fight), depending on what the players want. Below they have their stats and skills.

Skills:
The skills may defere into Passive and Active. Passive skills activate when a certain thing happens such as being equiped with a weapon or playing with another character. When a skill is active it has a skill point (in this case 2) and sometimes they have opt which means Once per turn. At the end of active skills there is a Recharge turn which tells when the skill points is recharged after using the skill once. In this case, on the third turn after using the skill, the skill points are recharged.

Skill list:
Cure: Heal a certain amount of life points
Summon: Call a monster that will help you fight, normally you can only have 1 at a time
Freeze: Character is frozen and can't act, needs to do a Power test (throw a D8 dice equal to or less to his power score)
Terror: Character is scared and can't act, needs to do a Mental Power test
Mist Movement: Teleport to random square
Teleport: Teleport to any square
Seduce: Character is charmed and can't move, needs to do a Charm test (this only works with characters of opposite sex)
Rage: Gain a bonus when fighting a certain element type or alignment
Fuse: Combine characters, effects may vary
Regenerate: Self cure
Attacks: Special attacks (this type of attacks don't miss)
Inmunity: A certain element doesn't affect you
Absorb: When being attacked by a certain element, you gain life instead of damage
Transform: Transform into a certain character for a few turns
