*GCDSG'S 1ST ANNIVERSARY PARTY PLANNING THREAD*
* heart * So as you all know...or are just finding out...the sniper game is almost a year old. 4laugh On Febuary 1st it will be 1 year since our beautiful thread came into exsistence <3 And now what do people usually do for anniversarys? THROW PARTIES! 4laugh And so thats what I think we should do! biggrin All we have to do is plan it. We have 3 weeks to get a party planned, to invite everyone, to do everything, and yeah. So if we want it to be AWESOME AWESOME AWESOME we need to BE PREPARED. And thats what this thread is for ^-^ BRAINSTORM PLEASE 4laugh

*What Needs To Be Done*
1. Invite People Thread Here 2. Pick a crew for the party guild: Thread Here3. Figure out activities (art contests, mini games, etc) A party is no fun if there is nothing to do. We need games, contests, basically anything fun. Mini games: Viva la Piñata - Uta Apple Pie Word Game - Ret Contests:Avatar/Tektek Contest - Parking Lot Writing Contest - Uta Other:Huge Panty Auction? 4. Choose dates for the party Wed. Jan 31st 8pm - Sun Feb 4th midnight 5. Advertise the party Ever though we're pming all the people to inform them of the party, I think advertising in sigs would be a good idea. Like Monkey said, this will be a great chance to get new members in the game. We should have sig banners, that emphasize the fact that new people are more then welcome. And if we have contests, definatley advertise that because who doesnt want the chance to win free stuff? 6. Subforums? Psycho Mintz has a number of subforums. What should we make them for the party? Subforum ideas: Ads: Anything else that needs to be done?

*Ideas Posted in Thread*Return_of_Watanuki-san WE should have a game highlights thread where the highlights of each game (try to limit it to about a set nmber per game so we don't have like fifty pages of highlights) are listed, which could be determined prior to this party by a selected individual. Maybe art and stuff? Like get someone to draw a picture representing each game, like the first might be the Pansies, the second might be the George's or ZIggeh killing everyone... inasanemonkey1230 And maybe we should use that to promote signups for the next game. <3 Amigo_amigo_amigo Should we recycle all the threads to make things pretty and organized. all of this sounds great,I love contests and I might even make on. as for prizes I think if there are gonna be a bunch of contests that people might not participate in all of them and if we were gonna do the whole entry fee thing some contests might only have like maybe 5k to give out and I'm sure more people want that. I think out of fairness we pick maybe like 10 contests and than either we start fundraising for the prizes or do the whole entry fee thing.
these are just my thoughts though feel free to do what you want with it.
Return_of_Watanuki-san We could have the prizes be sniper game related: Jail Clothes, ball and chain, shackles, wraith cloak etc. And we could think up prizes for each of the roles, like for the NEwsreporter we could have that hat that came in the set with the gunner coat. OR something like that. Return_of_Watanuki-san We could have a contest where we start off with a word or phrase like "Apple Pie" and then, each person has to change one letter of the word/phrase. THe first person to make the word relate to the SG gets a prize. Apple Pie Appe Pie Aipe Pie Aine Pie <-- person gets prize Did I explain it properly?
