Skinner Warehouses

Located on the western side of the camp, these warehouses are large structures composed mainly of sheetmetal on a wooden frame. Most of them have wide, barn doors, though some are simply open structures that serve little more purpose than somewhere to park vehicles at night.

Many types of supplies are stored here, from mining equipment to rations, as well as vehicles and fuel.

Quin was looking about himself, the thrill of battle starting to stir his blood. It had been a while since he had that passion well up in his heart. The feeling nearly consumed the man but he pressed it down to keep his calm. He most think about his actions logically.

Since his arrival at the main base Quin had the chance to study a few maps and while his thinking was a little out of date considering the level of technology around him he still saw a few points that needed to be cover.

So it was that he was standing before a large shed as some workers opened the doors. There was little chance Quin could perform the action in such a quick time so he had them do it and he needed that jeep if he was going to go any where.

Shambling his way to the jeep he seated himself in the drivers seat and took a moment to remeber how it was that you used these things. Resting a hand on the stearing wheel as he turned the key and was rewarded with the sound with the engine rumbling.

Looking at the gears he pressed his left food down on the clutch when an odd law struck him that prohibited people like him from driving a clutch. Not giving a damn he shifted the gears into drive and slowly pressed down on the gass.

The jeep was moving foward.

Shouyin grinned, pulling his cloak off and tossing it into the wind rather superheroically. Whatever happened with Athan, they'd erm, received the word, and the half-golem was set for a severe round of a**-kicking. Ducking down, he dropped his duffel bag and unzipped it, reaching in to gather his equipment.

There was already a pistol in the holster at his right hip, a knife strapped to his right calf and another blade sheathed up by his left breast. Shou dug into the bag, pulling out a black-bladed hatchet, which he slipped into the straps of the small pack strapped to his lower back. This settled he reached in once more, withdrawing a HK 416 Carbine. He smiled warmly, pulling a clip out of one of the pouches about his waist and loading it in. The rifle was then strapped to the harness at his back as he withdrew another smaller magazine and loaded his pistol.

After all, happiness was a warm gun, and they were much too cold empty.

Anyways, the half-golem had gotten a feel for the Vale during his briefing with the Ze'ev, trying to put most of the maps to memory so he had a fair idea on where to go. However running didn't seem the most favourable option, and he soon spotted a man starting up a jeep, because he was good at spotting things like that. And verily would he approach the fellow at a gentle run.

"'Ey! Taking passengers?"

Hearing the cry Quin turned his head and the machine idle for a moment.

"Get on board, we'll take as many as we can."

Slowing the jeep for a moment so the man could get in Quin shifted the vehicle back into drive and was going foward. This was war and war ment ground need be covered. His only hope that logistics didn't prove to be too much of a problem.

As the jeep sped on its way out of the camp with ever increasing speed tell they reached a good 40-50 mph Quin gave a brief glance to his passenger.

"Name's Quin."

"Word," he said as he ran around and got in the front passenger seat. The carbine was unslung and rested in his lap as this happened, the hatchet blade tilted conviently away from the seat fabric while refusing to cut into his own clothing.

"S'a pleasure, I'm Velvel," he offered a curt nod. "Which way we headed?"

Hein smiled calmly as he began to step across to one of the open warehouses. The decrepit looking buildings were just mere presentation pieces to the veritable beauties that rested within, a quiet chassis only hinting towards the engine. As he walked past a few of the other hired help, he got a fox whistle here and there, his hips swaying seductively with each step as he adjusted his sheathed Damascus across his leg before turning to look over one shoulder and smiled demurely at one of the men that had just shouted some obscene remark at him. His lips curved in an enticing manner, the luscious tone of his puckered lips leading to perhaps less than holy thoughts. Slowly, he winked one, gray eye at him before turning and moving over to one of the ATV's.

Running a hand down the forest green fiberglass, Hein let out a...a moan. Swinging a leg over the quad, he placed both hands on the handlebars, straddling the seat and squeezing tight before revving up the engine, the purr of the vehicle eliciting a groan from him as he began to roll out.

"Oh God...the feeling of a warm engine purring between your legs is just...heavenly. Let's suit up, roll out, and show those boys a good time, eh?"

Without warning, Hein burst forward on the ATV and let out a whoop before grinding into the dirt and grass outside. Looking over at the men that he had flirted with earlier, Hein smiled as he shouted out.

"I ain't a bird, ya know? Got my double 0 and 7 in these pants! Whoo!"

Leaving the dumbfounded men in his dust, Hein sped up as he tried to catch up with a jeep further along the makeshift path that they were blazing. Truth be told, he hadn't a clue as to where the heck they were supposed to go and what they were supposed to do. Safer to just follow the bigger groups rather than get lost and, who knew, maybe killed. His voice reached out to them, soft and alluring, the feminine quality in his almost melodic voice seeming strange as he rode up to them on a quad.

"Hey~! Do you two have any clue where we're supposed to be? I'm just soo lost...can either of you two help?"

"Fuel Depot!" Shou yelled out, leaning out of the jeep to yell back at Hein before speeding off.

Jacob's small army of twenty-three, four including himself, traversed the camp relatively quickly. He was in a bit of a hurry, and didn't know what they had that could carry the men.

That was answered soon enough: a lot. Mining, light excavation, and logging equipment abounded, large and powerful with more than enough room for men. He could have had them distribut themselves over smaller vehicles, but his own experience warned him against that.

He cleared his throat, and spoke loudly:
"I need an extra can of fuel, and grab some rations. We don't know how long we'll be out there. Now, load up that truck."

The 'truck' was a full-fledged excavation dump-truck, perhaps twenty feet tall at the front and thirty long, massive and metal. It's siding, like that of a garbage truck, was pressure-treated and strong enough to stop bullets. He, personally, had no idea how to drive one so got in the passenger-side seat. "And, one of you who's qualified, get in front."

Two more minutes, and they were off.

Sam smiled, then quickly got up front. "If one of them falls, I can take over." There were a few things she knew, guns and cars among them. So once everyone was settled and they had everything, they would be off.

Merry, having watched most of the coming and going without much ado, decided it was time to head out. A group of about a dozen guards were standing around by the side of the warehouse, she rode her bike over to them.

"Alright, I don't care who told you to stand here, we're all going. Now," she ordered. The men shuffled to their vehicles, totalling two jeeps of five men and two dirtbikes.

From there, they headed in a southerly direction, engines roaring.

In the fore of a squad of ten Quin was making his way through the camp in the early morning hours. Yawning only slightly with every other step he shook his head to wake himself as he shambled along without aid of his cane.

Getting the demolitions was easy enough, it was a mining camp after all and working through rock was the name of the game. But it forced him to grab more men, four, because none of the men with him knew how to set the damn stuff off. So he had four others with equipment for the job while everyone was carrying a load of dynamite with them.

The radios took some talking as they didn't just want to hand out the larger reciever/tranciever.

A hour after he would have liked Quin had finally gotten all of the gear and equipment he wanted for this task.

In a final act he comandeered a dump truck which was pulling double duty as an APC. They had only about one squad and there was room in the back for these things are huge multi ton monsters of construction work, even if they have versions that are larger this thing was still big. Climbing a ladder just to get to the cab Quin sat in the passenger seat as he directed the driver where to go and off they were.

[From: Barracks]
Jacob grabbed the radio, and then looked for vehicles and personel.

No one at the moment, but he stopped near the warehouse's CB. He'd see if anyone needed anything done, or if anyone else moved to the warehouse.

He wasn't wandering off into the middle of nowhere pointlessly.
