I seriously miss this role play. As such, I am recreating it (unfortunately without the permission of MythicalYoko, but what eva). The storyline and everything belongs to MythicalYoko, including the plot twists in this thread. I am not the role play master! If you don't know what that is, it is simply the person that created the role play, and has absolute power over everyone in it (do not confuse with god modding! What I mean is she can kick you out of the role play if she feels like doing so).If you, by any circumstances, have a question it should best be directed towards her, if concerning this role play. If you were in this role play before, and still want your profile, go Here... Scroll down to near the bottom, and a post of this role play should be there. Go and find your character under the Character's section.

One more thing, you cannot introduce new Spawns/Beasts of Tidal without permission from MythicalYoko! This happened before and because of it the role play died! If anyone does it without her permission, you will be instantly kicked out of this role play and guild!

Plot:

Once, there were two civilizations which were incredibly powerful and strong. They were considered two of the most intelligent people of their times. The two civilizations grew stronger, rising up and increasing their powers and reach across the land. These two civilizations soon grew into kingdoms, which bloomed into empires. The empires grew and prospered over the land, their militaries those who were feared and well-known. Each lived beside the ocean, excellent in their skills with battling in the sea and fishing.

These two empires were each known to hold what they each called, 'House of Summoners.' These summoners were able to summon either creates that were thought to be from hell or powerful angels from the great beyond. Dragons, phoenixes, and even dead warriors to come to their aid. These summoners studied deeply and practiced their arts, going until the ancient spells of the old tongue rolled off of their lips like hot butter.

It was then that the news arrived of a tidal wave. At first, it was believed that as long as the two empires were prepared to handle the damage afterwards that there was absolutely nothing to worry about. However, as a single day passed it was learned the tidal wave had grown larder and much more powerful than believed. Not just a tidal wave, but a massive tsunami that would crash over the two empires and destroy them completely.

The only choice that the two empires could make would to be for them to summon. It was planned that the summoners would combine their powers and summons one creature that would protect the two. Through this agreement, the two empires would be able to protect themselves and perhaps learn each other's summoning secrets.

When the time came, the summoners combined their magic and spoke a spell which allowed them to combine their spirits and creatures together to form one ultimate protector which they named Tidal. The tsunami was sent back by what they had summoned, and everything appeared to be going perfect. But then, the combining at which the summoners had used began to fail and fall apart. The mixing of creatures of light and creatures of the darkness fought against the creature, and it grew confused and blind.

Very soon, the creature slowly lost control. Mixed between the darkness and light, It's mind grew twisted and narrow. It soon lost its mind, and the summoners lost control. It killed nearly every summoner, and turned upon what It had been created to protect. The two empires fell, reduced to rubble. It then set out, destroying what lay within It's path. It has no idea what is right or wrong, and It doesn't care. All that It knows to do is to battle, and so it is that that is does.

After seven years of bringing down terror upon the world, It finally fell asleep.

Within this small time of peace, it is then that those who have survived It's terror to travel to different locations and slay seven beasts. Each beast was created from Tidal, and each beast consists of only one main element. Fire, wind, water, lightening, earth, darkness and light. Every time a beast is destroyed, Tidal looses power and an element. If all seven monsters are destroyed, then Tidal will be much weaker and vulnerable. And, there might just be a chance that he could be killed.

Blade wears a tight stretchy one-piece of clothing, this way when she moves she doesn't any sound. Her clothes don't show off any of her skin, and along with it she wears black gauntlets with black traveling boots. Blade wears a leather collar around her neck that has a silver cross hanging off of it. There's also a black leather belt that hangs around her waist that carries things such as daggers, fishing hooks and line and any other things that can be carried there. There, she insisted upon being trained like all of the other young elvin boys who would grow up to eventually become knights. After three years she left the elves without a single word and went to where the dwarves dwelled in the mountains and was able to get two double-bladed swords made just for her; probably by gambling, which she happens to be very lucky at. After that, she discovered her power over being able to control both the shadows and fire. She kept this to herself and learned how to control her powers alone and was able to evade Tidal for those years. Unfortunately, she had to face him once again and nearly lost her life. After a few months past Tidal fell asleep, making a huge opportunity for Blade to raise her swords up against him while he is weak. Ever since the one day when she left all alone when she ten Blade has sworn for revenge. She now sets out to kill first kill all of the spawn and then Tidal himself. Blade seems to know much more about Tidal than she cares to share.

Other: Despite Blade being an extreme tomboy and a rough warrior she knows much about the stars and many other facts about history and nature. This is because during the three years that she lived with the elves she had been living with a scholar who shared his vast oceans of knowledge with her. She tends to sit down and just draw whenever she's not training, and she also knows how to play the harp and maybe some of instruments. Blade also has a bad habit of occasionally gambling, however for some strange reason she hardly loses.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gaian Name: `Cookie Of Doom`

Character Name: Ebon Oensheld

Age: 20

Race: Human

Power(s): One power he cannot control, and thus is classified has having no technical power. He does have unreal hand to hand combat skills though. Since he had no elemental power to evolve from, he rained his body physically. His speed can be near blinding and his strength can be quite impressive at times.

His actual power, Telekinesis, is only activated, not by his will, when he is on the verge of death.

Weapon(s): A legendary elven wakizashi named Stalior. Ancient elven runes are in scripted along each side of the blade and some in scripted along the diamonds of the hilt. On one side of the blade, the runes translate into "Courage" and on the other side they translate into "Power". Along the hilt they translate into "Wisdom". The sword itself is an entity on it's own, and can telepathically have conversations with Ebon and a few others.

Reference to what a wakizashi looks like.

Appearance: Garbs himself in a large, dark blue cape that covers the entirety of his back. His shirt is made of a very fine silk, which has been colored blue. His pants are the same. He wears a brown belt lined with gold stripes, which holds his rations. Stalior resides in it's sheath, which hangs from his belt as well. His clothes, including the cape, is a very light material, yet very strong and durable. Ebon has long dark blue hair. The back part of his hair is kept closely tied together with a hard, white linen cloth. It isn't tied to about thirty centimeters from the tips of his hair. The front side of his hair is usually kept scattered about, but clean non-the-less. Ebon's eyes are a dark brown. He is quite built, but doesn't appear so. His left arm has one big scar which spreads from the top of the shoulder and down to his wrist. He's a little above average height.

History: Ebon barely escaped the hands of death being born, but his mother gave her life for his. The creature attacking them was no other than Tidal. Ebon didn't escape that encounter completely unscathed though. He would forever bear the mark that Tidal left on him... Well two marks. One, the destruction of the the power he was going to develop, Telekinesis. That is the only reason he lived the encounter, his dormant power made itself known and saved Ebon. Unfortunately Tidal took notice of this, and to his knowing, completely destroyed any chance of Ebon ever using that power again. The other mark he left on him was a scar, that Ebon would forever bear, across his left arm.

Found as an infant by creatures known as High Elves, Ebon was taken back to their society out of pity to what had happened to him. He was raised as an elf, even though he had human heritage. His foster father was a scholar of monsters and such, and this trait began to rub off on to Ebon. And guess what? His foster mother was a cook! What a coinkidink! Of course, he had to get his own traits, and combat seemed to be one of them. Not combat in magical power (like elves mostly studied) but combat in physical means.

At about the age of sixteen, Ebon left to seek 'adventure', as he so called it. He mostly wanted to kill Tidal, you know, because he gave him a scar. "Aside from the fact that Tidal killed so many people and such, giving me the scar was just too far." As you can tell, Ebon is a playful type of person. He kids around a lot, but not when things start getting serious. He's learned from past experiences that being a joker when people were serious never made things better.

Before he left, his elven village decided to give him a parting gift, the Legendary Elven Sword Stalior! Imagine his surprise when they gave it to him. They said the runes along the sword best described Ebon, and he , of everyone there, deserved it most.

For the next four years, Ebon travelled the lands, while still training vigorously. He met many people, learned many things, but still kept his same old 'cool-guy attitude'. He has no fear and acts that way. When he learned of the Spawns of Tidal, he set out to kill them. Of course this was only a rumor, but it was better than nothing.

Other: As a hobby, Ebon has read a vast amount of books, greatly increasing his knowledge. It's not all Brute, you know. The books are mostly of a breakdown of the many types of species and monsters encountered in history. He has also read many cooking books. Call it weird, but damn that's good cooking!

((My late post 'cause Gaia is a whore. DDD smile )

Gaian Name: Boyue

Character Name: Eni Sayen

Age: 16-18?

Race: Human

Power(s): Wind and Water

Weapon(s): A chakram and a fuuma shuriken which she calls Hine and Tama, respectively.

Appearance: Eni has a light golden complexion. Her most notable feature is her big bright azure eyes. Adorning those eyes is her straight pitch-black hair that stops at her collarbones in front and just below her armpits in back. She is always seen with a grin or a smile on her youthful face. Eni's overall appearance is very androgynous, making it difficult to determine her gender. Eni dresses herself in a long dark gray/black chiffon robe that stops at her knees. Beneath the robe, Eni wears a black pair of spandex capris. On her feet is a pair of dark brown boots that resemble uggs. Her chakram is stacked on top of her shuriken and Eni carries them on her back with a leather strap with her hood covering part of her weapons. Occassionally, Eni wears a blindfold to ease the sharp sunlight on her eyes.

History: Eni was born in a village near the edge of the world. The village deemed Eni as unnatural and ostracized her. Eni was offered as a sacrifice to a beast in a cave when she was five years old. A group of Witches, however, saved her. Because of Eni's enthusiatic personality, they accepted her and raised her as one of them. Together they killed the beast in the cave and took over it. The madness of Tidal, however, began shortfly after and Eni watched her village crushed into nothing from her cave. Since then, Eni had hid in the cave and didn't see a day of sunlight until the Witches assigned her a task. She was sent to find an ancient sacred weapon called Eternal Love. As she returned to the world, Eni found herself caught up in something larger than herself.

Other: The truth is... Eni is a hermaphrodite! That is what's unnatural about her. Because of her appearance, Eni can alternate between the female and male gender without suspicion.

Eni also speaks a dialect since her hometown is so distant off.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Gaian Name: FmT.

Character Name: Boan Silven.

Age: 25

Race: Human.

Power(s): Boan has incredible strength, the full power of which is a mystery even to him. This strength applies to every part of body, meaning he can take run, jump, and take damage at higher levels than the average human. This does not mean he’s invincible, just hard to kill. Along with this strength, he has the simple ability to walk on water, or sink into it when he wants to. Most of the time this power is useless because there isn’t anyone he needs to run from.

Weapon(s): Lost God. This sword is enormous. The blade alone is four and a half feet long, three inches thick (in the center), and a foot wide. The blade is mostly black with some grey to define the edges, which always stays sharp thanks to the magic used to create it. When you get a good look you’ll see that a cross and the words “Lost God” are engraved in the metal. The hilt is one foot in length and made of solid metal wrapped in bandages that cover the soft black leather that was already there before. This sword forms out of thin air when Boan calls it and disappears when he no longer needs it, and though it weighs nearly one hundred and sixty pounds, Boan can use it as though it weighs no more than a normal sword.

He also carries two long, double-edged knives for use in close combat.

Appearance: Boan stands at 6’2” roughly and never knows how much he weighs. He’s kind of lanky and all the muscle he’s gained makes up for how skinny he’d be otherwise. Starting at his right wrist, a tattoo of a thorned vine wraps around his arm all the way to the middle of his chest, where the vine connects to a dark red, fully bloomed rose. Boan has shaggy black hair that goes rather well with his green eyes and slightly pale skin. Every now and then Boan forgets to shave and has some scruff going on for a few days, but eventually he remembers and gets rid of it. On the upper body, Boan wears a dark blue shirt with loose sleeves that go down to almost mid-forearm. White bandages are wrapped around his right arm from wrist to elbow, and he wears thin but strong steel armor around his left forearm. On each hand he wears a black glove that has the fingers cut off and a steel plate attached to protect the back of the hand, between wrist and knuckles. On the lower body he wears a pair of loose black pants with large pockets. He’s wrapped white bandages around both of his legs from ankle to knee, and he wears steel shin guards on both legs, over the bandages. Around his waist he wears a regular black leather belt from which his knives hang, and on his feet wears a pair of plain black boots. Boan always has a thin strip of black cloth around his eyes like a blindfold to protect them from the sun. The cloth blocks the sun, but it’s thin enough to give him fairly clear vision. Boan also has a hooded white cloak that has a red outline of a rose on the back. This cloak is usually kept in a bag he carries on his back until he needs the cloak.

He’s not a big man, but because of his abilities, he’s been able to put on quite a bit of muscle. Though not overly large or bulky, his muscles are very well defined and he’s clearly a strong guy.

History: Boan was born and raised in a fairly large city on an island south of the main continent Tidal was born in. At the age of ten he and his family moved north to the main continent, and lived in the second largest city there was. At the age of sixteen his natural ability to walk on water without sinking into it was discovered by the military and he was forced into their ranks.

When he was nineteen tidal attacked the city, and he, along with a whole army of people with magical abilities, was sent to fight it. During the battle he came into direct contact with the being and looked directly into its eyes. All he remembers after that was screaming before blacked out. When he woke up he found that the whole city had been destroyed, and almost everyone in it killed. Only 51 people out of the starting 52,000 had survived Tidal, Boan included.

The next month was spent in bed, recovering. After he was finally recovered he started searching for Tidal, and after finding out it had gone to sleep, started to search for the seven elements it had left behind.

Other: Boan’s eyes are now different from normal eyes. They allow him to see clearly in complete darkness, or, depending on the material, see through solid objects. It requires a small amount of energy to switch from one to the other, and his eyes are now insanely sensitive to light, which is why he wears cloth around his eyes. No one knows this though, because he’s told no one. Most people just think he’s blind.

They had seen and been through a lot of fights. She wears a light colored cape that looks shreaded at the ends, little peices still hanging on that has been dued red by blood. In her hands she always carries the golden staff that her mother had given her. It goes about a foot over her head, the top in a spaded shape with a pice of metal in the center of it, sticking out like a sword. On the spaded ring at the top also hangs six small circular rings. Along the middle it is a dark maroon color until it reaches the bottom where it sparkles gold again. It gives out a little jut before going to a sharp point like a screwdrivers.

Cookie Conundrum

The creature attacking them was some wolf.

When he turned thirteen, he was sent into a nearby forest to go hunting. It was then that the met no other than Tidal. Of course Tidal attacked him, to the near point of death, but Ebon had fought back best he could. However, Tidal was by far stronger, but Tidal couldn't kill him. Instead he would forever bear the mark that Tidal left on him...

A distant howl echoed out in the distance, making Blade stop and turn her head. She absently scratched the back of her head while blinking, listening carefully to the way the howl echoed through the trees. It was still night time, so anyone else who heard the howl would just think that it was coming out from a wolf. If it had been a wolf it would have been one that had been seperated from his or her pack. It was a wolf, but for a few moment she'd stood there thinking that maybe it was the howl from the earth spawn. But the howl sounded too human. Not human, but not spawn-like.

The spawn that she was currently tracked was the spawn of light. It was an annoying little thing, speeding off before she could catch it, and she couldn't travel through the shadows because if she drew near enough the spawn could just light itself up and destroy them. Nothing bad would happen, but it would give her location away and it could just blind her and then run off. The joys of spawn hunting. Every single one had some stupid little ability that always set her off, making it harder for her to catch up to them. They were faster than any human could possibly dream, forcing Blade to travel fast but once she grew close enough quiet. This was always hard because traveling through the forest was a noisy business, that was unless you could fly, which Blade certainly couldn't. Humans didn't have wings, and even if they did they were too heavy. Their wings would have to be almost fifty feet.

Screw it, she wanted to rest. Blade knew that by now the spawn must have become aware of her presence and had either taken off or come closer. Whatever would happen next wouldn't be decided by her, it would be decided by the spawn. Stupid little things. Blade traveled off through the trees, following where the shadows were leading her to. A good three hours had passed and she finally found water. A large, good-sized lake. It was wide and definately extremely deep, she could sense it from how heavy the shadows were in the water. Blade walked over to the edge and bent down, taking in a few sips of water before sitting up and looking around. It was empty, really, except for some mother deer and her offspring all the way across the lake who were doing the same thing that she was.

The night was always calm and peaceful.

But also boring. Blade yawned before she sat back, scratching the back of her head again in a lazy, almost sluggish manner. It was at this moment that her stomach let out a loud, angry rumble. “Damn it all, I need food! Blah….” Blade hadn't eaten in a day or two. She'd been too occupied chasing the spawn that she hadn't bothered to stop for food. Food....

||I'm posting this for Doom since he wasn't able to. (: ||

`Cookie Of Doom`
((You started the first Tidal in a forest with an area of deep water as well xD. Ho' s**t, I already know what's going to happen! xD))

...And you incorporated the word 'Blah' into the post! xD

One more thing, you cannot introduce new Spawns/Beasts of Tidal without permission from MythicalYoko! This happened before and because of it the role play died! If anyone does it without her permission, you will be instantly kicked out of this role play and guild! I will show you no mercy. ):<))

There it stood. It was the highlight of Ebon's entire night, the entire reason he'd been wandering around that dreaded forest for five hours. It was eating a pleasant patch of grass it had come across. It's light furry ears were always perked up and ready to catch the first sound that it could. It's four long legs stood proud and tall with it's head lowered as it continued eating the grass it enjoyed. It's silky pelt, colored brown, seemed to reflect the moonlight that shined above.

Just as Ebon was about to lept at it, and kill it instantly, his stomach gave off a loud noise of hunger which, unfortunately, warned the dear of his presence. Just barely the deer was above to flee his attack, but Ebon would not give up the chase. He quickly followed after the deer, slowly gaining some speed as he went along. Ebon would have caught the deer by now, if only his hunger wasn't slowing him down. It was quite the nuisance. It drained his energy and seemed to transform him into some wild beast with only food on it's mind.

"Come... Back... Here!" Ebon screamed out, still continuing with the chase. Both him and the deer ran for about fifteen minutes, and eventually reached a clearing where there stood a lake, and someone near it. Against all odds, Ebon's mind was, for only a fraction of a couple seconds, relinquished on his thoughts of hunger and now placed on the woman he was staring at. Unluckily, when he did stop thinking about hunger, he didn't stop running. And with his attention diverted to the woman, his body was wildly running after the deer, blindly.

His running came to a sudden halt when he tripped over the root of a tree that was sticking out of the ground. His head turned and looked at the ground his face was soon to meet. His eye twitched vigorously at the thought of what was going to happen, but never did. For you see, he actually got lucky. The deer he was chasing grew tired of the fast running it had been doing for the last... Very long while and had slowed down. At that moment, when Ebon was still in mid-air, it looked as if the deer was tackled hard to the ground by the man. Luckily for Ebon, but not so for the Deer, the animals neck was broken upon impact with the ground.

"... Joyness! You're mine now, b***h!" Ebon proclaimed, standing proud above his dead prize. Immediately he began to remove the meat that would be digestible from the deer. While all this was going on, his mind grew absent of the woman he briefly stared at before. If she were hungry, she'd grown even hungrier at the sight of fresh deer might right in front of her, where Ebon actually was. "I'll start a fire after I'm finished with this!" Ebon said aloud to himself.

Amazingly, Ebon finished with getting the meet from the deer very fast, for he was used to doing it and was quite skilled at it as well. The deer was large, and there was a fair amount of meat there. It was for sure that he wouldn't be able to eat it all. And the saddest thing about it all is that he still hadn't noticed Blade.

Wow, this man certainly seemed bright. Blade sat there with her hands behind her head, watching the rather humorous scene unfold before her. First she'd heard two creatures running through the trees, and then a deer followed by a determined man popped out. The man tripped because for some reason he'd allowed to get himself distracted by her, but instead of hitting the ground he hit the deer. Nice accident. He said something else and then... forgot about Blade. Blade just sat there watching him without a word while he skinned the deer. Still didn't notice her. He talked to himself again.

Still didn't notice her.

But hell, who cared? Food!

Blade grinned to herself before the shadows around her reached up and pulled her into them, and she reappeared a few feet behind the man. She sat up quietly and then leaned over his head and gently blew at his hair so he would become aware of her presence.

"Hello there. Nice little comedy scene you just did." Blade greeted before moved over and stood across from the stranger. She let out a whistle, giving Ebon a wink at the same time. "Hel-lo handsome! Mine name is Blade, care to share yours?" Compared to the other bandits that Blade had faced against before, this man was definately really, really attractive. Blade set her hands on her hips, then pointed to the meat that the man had set out before him. "Hm-hm! I see that you are with meat, but alas, no fire or wood! Say, if I get you your wood and light a fire, mind sharing some of that with me? I'll pay you, too, if you'd like, since you've got such a good-lookin' face. How about it, cutie? I'm a tough woman so I can get it set up fast for you." Blade lifted up one hand and clenched it into a fist as she spoke, still smiling. "See?" Then again, the two double-edged swords that were strapped onto her back could speak from themselves.

Boyue

Trisha sat in a pile of leaves, when she moved they crunched beneath her. The wind lightly caressing her face adn bangs as he turned her hand slowly out in front of her as the moonlight cascaded through the leaves and reflected off her white skin.

Through the forest came a fox walking low on it's haunches, his left ear had a chunk missing from it and the fox had a limp. Motioning for the child of the forest to come to her the fox barely made it to her before it flopped down to the ground, exhausted and in excrusiating pain.

The wolf let out a slight wimper as Trisha reached out and brushed her fingertip against the biten ear and felt the hardness of dried blood. Turning around behind her she reached into her pack and shuffled around in their untiil she found her prize.

Turing back around she slowly unwound the top on the bottle, a small noise espcaping from the jar. Inside was a white creamy substance that was one fourth already gone. Dipping two of her long fingers into the cream she held her fingers out in front of her adn into the light so she could see. Satisfied, she moved her hand back down to the wolf and, ignoring the simpers and twitching of the creatures hind leg, she rubbed the cream down into the wound, finally moving on to the leg. Seeing it was only a sprain she laid out a blanket and lifted the wolf onto it as she stood up and reached out for her bow. If I dont get the wolf that did this then it will come back for the child of the forest... Trisha thought to herself.

Walking into the forest, the branches cruncihng beneath her boots, she finally came up behnid the wolf she was seaking, its back and right hind paw dirtied by blood. Shifting down into the bushes as silently as a butterfly landing on a leaf Trisha aimed her bow. Pulling the aarow back into the shaft she aimed and fired.

The aarow soared through the air as the shaft made a twang in the distance, landing in the target. The wolf let out a loud howl that broke the silence of the crisp night. Walking forward, watching her step in case she heard more wolves approaching, Trisha grabbed the wolf's body and carried it back to her camp.

When back she found some stones taht surrounded a nearby tree and took some of the leaves from the bed she had made and started a fire. Roasting the wolf she leaned against a oak tree and started to eat, looking often over at the child of the forest to make sure it was ok...

Cookie Conundrum

((I edited the history part of my profile, so it can actually comply with the storyline. I must have been drunk or something when I made the profile last night xD.))

Ebon was peacefully preparing the meat for cooking when there came a sudden, small blow of wind that hit the hair around his ear. It was followed by what seemed to be a joke of some sort. A joke or not, it still scared the s**t out of Ebon. She had somehow snuck up behind him and did that, without his knowing! That would have probably been easy for anyone, Ebon was starving after all. If she hadn't blew into his hair, he would have most likely toned out her voice with the ready-to-cook food in front of him.

But now his reaction. It wasn't the most elegant one. He had turned around to see who was there, and to his surprise no one! Now when he turned back... Ho' boy, was he one surprised guy. He hadn't even noticed he walking around to look at him, and due to this, he shook the voice he barely heard as his won imagination. But it was real! The shock that was apparent when he saw her actually made him lose balance and tumble backwards, until he eventually landed on the ground.

By the way that Blade was dressed, as first he could barely tell she was a female. Her hair had thrown him off a little, but her face finally reassured him that she was one. Plus, the way she talked also gave clues to that. It was funny, she was obviously trying to flatter him to get some food. It was amusing, he hadn't really been given attention like that before. It was unnecessary though, Ebon would have given her food even if she just sat there and waited for it.

"Uhhh. my name? Ebon Oensheld..." His entire name was basically elven, anyone could tell that. What usually threw people off though was that he was a human, and not elvish. Thus, they just said what a weird name, not thinking it was elven. "You don't have to pay me or anything, I'll give you some of the food if you want. There's more than enough to share!"

Quickly Ebon stood back up, and went to the edge of the forest to gather some fire wood. It didn't take long either, maybe five minutes, a little less. He had come back with about a stack of twelve branches, each one being about five centimeters thick. Most people went to get large logs and such to cook their food, but Ebon knew what you really needed to do when cooking food! He took six of the sticks and lined them up nicely with each other, all pointing forwards and backwards. While with the other six he put them on top of the six from before, but had them pointing from left to right.

Ebon took out a small stick, which was used for starting fires. He had swiped it against a nearby rock, and it had suddenly lit on fire (much like a match). He carefully placed the lit stick into the very center of his pile of wood. The pile instantly lit on fire. When this was done, Ebon took out a small square of metal and unfolded it, making a fairly large piece of metal, with random spots of small squared all through it. With that done, Eben took out four poles and attacked it to the metal square, and placed it over the fire. He waited a bit for the metal to heat up and finally started to cook the meat.

"Sorry if this is taking a while but this is the way cooking in the wilderness should be done! You see, by having my firewood placed like that, it equally distributes the heat of the fire. Thus, cooking the meat to a near perfection!" The deer meat gave off a pleasant smell as it began to cook more and more. Obviously Ebon had somehow cut the meet so all it's flavour and such stayed within it, instead of draining away like it usually does.

Once it was finished, Ebon announced to Blade that it was done. He had somehow, yet again, made two plates out of wood he found in the forest. Of course they were clean and the outer layer of the wood was shaved with a knife. He had also cut two forks and two knives for them to use! Ebon had somehow done all this in the short time it took for the meat to cook! "Here ya are!" Ebon said as he handed the meat, fork/knife and plate to Blade. "I hope you like it, seconds will be done in a little bit." Now Ebon finally began to eat it himself, somewhat drooling at what he had made. Like always, it was cooked to perfection.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 18, 2006 1:13 pm

Blade laughed at the man's reaction when he'd tumbled over, and grinned back when he said that he would, in fact, share his food with her. Then her attention had been snagged when he'd said his name, Ebon Oensheld. That wasn't a human name. It was a name that should belong to an elf, and from what she could tell Ebon's ears were pointed. No, they were perfectly round, just like hers, the way that a human's should be. Then Ebon stood up and walked off to get fire wood, Blade watching after him before sitting down and stretching. The man came back soon and Blade had the entertainment of watching him light a fire. Or, arrange the wood.

Then the food... holy crap the food. It smelt delicious! Blade had to keep herself from doing something stupid like drooling from the scent. Blade wasn't a bad cook, but that didn't mean that she was good. She was just normal. Usually whatever gave her energy was good enough for her, but this... ho boy she couldn't wait to eat it! Then it was finally finished, and Blade took it quickly with a thanks, accidently saying it elven instead of normal human speech. She didn't really pay attention to this as she started eating, her tongue exploding from the taste.

Who knew, maybe the food actually tasted like crap, but as far as Blade was concerned it didn't matter how it tasted. She hadn't eaten in over a day or two, so any food tasted good... well, to an extent at least. She didn't eat it like a pig but she still finished her food quickly, and a while later she set the plate down and looked happily up at Ebon. "I'm impressed, most men don't know how to cook. Neither do I, of course, so I shouldn't really be speaking." Her stomach finally felt like there was something inside of it, not just air; sitting there in a lonely manner. Blade leaned forward, folding her legs and then placing her elbows on her knees. "A handsome elven name, I have to say. Strange that a human has one." It was right around now that Blade took notice of the sword that Ebon was carrying. It definately looked unique, with that diamond on the hilt and that sym... symbol? Blade blinked, her smile dropping as her sharp icy blue eyes grew wide. "...Ho... holy crap! Is that the Stalior? N-no, it couldn't be...." Blade could remember the first time she'd seen the blade. Or at least in pictures. Could... could it possibly be? The Stalior? No, that wasn't possible! "Would you... mind if you showed that sword to me?"
