Name: Alanna Loxley Nickname: Al Gender/Pronoun: sapphic, she/her Age: 20 Birthday: 5 August 2005 Sign: Leo all the way down Gemstone: Peridot Fav. Food: Anything with bacon! The single best way to get on her good side is offer her some bacon-y treat or food dish. She especially loves chocolate-covered bacon, yum. Hated Food: Pizza. Mainly because she got called “pizza face” when she was a young teen due to the bad acne she had. School/Occupation: DCU, music major (composing), in her second year; works part-time at a queer-owned thrift shop, doing sorting and stocking (no way in hell would she work the floor); plays bass for an all-female-presenting, all-queer “aggro post-punk noise-pop” band called the Lezz Beans (they have only played parties around campus so far, but just you wait). Hobbies: Bass Guitar: Alanna knows how to play guitar, thanks to lessons she got as a kid, but her true love is bass. She fell in love with bass when watching an old rerun of “Happy Days” featuring Leather Tuscadero (bass player Suzi Quatro) when she was 13. (That was also when she realized she was gay — she wanted Leather Tuscadero, and wanted to be her at the same time.) Saving her allowance and birthday money and with various financial contributions from family and friends, she acquired an old used mapleglo Rickenbacker 4003 bass she spotted at a pawn shop. This thing, beat up and worn as it is, is her baaaaby. She is equally passionate about the art of the bass, which is quite different than guitar; her bass idol, along with Quatro, is Lemmy from the metal band Motörhead. Al plays with a pick like Lemmy did, using an overdriven Orange amp and a distortion pedal for a nice growly bitey sound. Archery: Al discovered archery in high school; it was one of the phys-ed options offered at Meadowview High, and seemed like something she could tolerate given the alternatives. The girl hated all the other options, having been forced into softball in her sophomore year. You’re not competing as a team against another team in archery, not the way you do in softball — it’s a solo sport, even if you are competing against another school’s archers. Alanna got very good at archery in her junior year, and even went on to compete on the school’s archery team, winning regionals and going on to state finals. She still knows her way around a bow, shooting competitively with the archery squad at DCU. While she uses a compound bow with the stabilizer and everything on the squad, she prefers a simple self bow when shooting for her own practice and enjoyment. It feels more pure to her, like a more honest, straightforward way to shoot. PHYSICAL DESCRIPTIONEyes: Alanna has green-grey eyes, the color of the ocean or the eyes of the gods from Welsh mythology, almond shaped with long lashes and slightly downturned scowly dark brows. Hair: Al's hair is white-blonde with darker blonde roots, worn short in kind of a pixie shag, straight and thick with heavy messy fringe parted on the left and flopping over her eyes and into her face. Face: She has pixie-ish features – a heart shaped face, full-ish mouth and button nose — except this pixie has Seen Some s**t. She wears an almost perpetually skeptical expression, if a cute one. Even her bass-face snarl is cute. She doesn’t wear makeup except on stage, at the insistence of her bandmates. Skin Tone: Fair and clear, about hex code #FFEBD6Body Type: Al is short at about 5' even, and built whippy thin; she often gets mistaken for a teenage boy, which she hates. She's stronger than she looks, though, and that comes from hefting totes and boxes of clothes around at the thrift store, plus from being a very physical bass player with a very heavy bass guitar. Clothes: Her wardrobe is fairly butch, consisting primarily of close-fitting t-shirts and tank tops worn over slim jeans or leather pants, with lots of plaid flannel shirts and classic Doc Martens. In the heat of the summer, she swaps the pants out for surfer-style jams and Birkenstocks; when winter comes, she adds a black leather biker jacket, a keffiyeh scarf in pride colors, and cozy knit gloves. Al’s stage gear, such as it is, doesn’t differ much from her regular clothing — slim leather pants, a tank top, her Pride keffiyeh, and her Docs. She also wraps bandannas around her wrists so she won’t drip sweat all over her bass.

Virtues:Persistent: Alanna has got to be one of the most obstinate people in Destiny City. Once she's made up her mind about something, she will pursue it unrelentingly, despite any difficulty or especially any opposition that may arise; in fact, opposition makes her all the more determined – gives her more of a reason to fight for it. Tenacious as a terrier, Al can be absolutely single-minded in her pursuit of something she wants, whether it be a goal or a person or anything that people tell her she can't get. Her persistence usually pays off, too, as her undeniably stubborn nature will often outlast anything or anyone standing in her way. It's one of the things holding her band together. Protective: When it comes to those she cares about in her life, Alanna is a vigilant guardian and protector. She keeps a watchful eye out for her friends and bandmates, taking out any perceived threats with the same ferocity as a lioness defending her cubs. While often coming across as mean, even cruel, to those who look to harm or take advantage of her or hers, she is the very picture of a mama bear to her friends and bandmates. If Al counts you as a friend, she will constantly be on you to make sure you've eaten, drank some water, taken your meds – gently but firmly. And if she thinks more of you than simply a friend, look out. She's as gallant and chivalrous as the noblest of knights if she fancies you. What's your favorite color, your favorite flower? Alanna will shower you with gifts and spoil you rotten. Flaws: Vengeful: A word of advice to the wise: don't cross Alanna Loxley. She will neither forgive nor forget what you've done, whether it's to her directly or to someone she cares about. This girl is vindictive to an extreme no matter what the slight was; revenge is never off the table, and very often the revenge she seeks will be public and brutal. Al makes Clint Eastwood's "Man with No Name" movie character look like an amateur with how unforgiving she can be. And her vengeful nature doesn't stop with direct slights – she vehemently resents those who seem to get away with things that would get her in trouble, and she will bear a grudge against them that can last an eternity. Vicious: The word 'fierce' doesn't even begin to describe Alanna's basic nature. She's a wild child, as feral as a stray dog that's been hanging out with wolves or coyotes, and just as ferocious. Her aggressive manner can come across as threatening to others, even people she's known for a long time – and most of the time it's intentional. Al has been through a lot in her young life, a lot of things that would have broken anyone who wasn't fierce; more than just a defense or self-preservation mechanism, it's become something of a lifestyle for her. As a result, her dealings with others, especially rivals or authority figures, can be as brutal as any pirate's, asking no metaphorical quarter and giving none.

Father: Robert, DC cop Mother: Marianne, nurse at Destiny City General Hospital Brother: John, 25, college football star looking to go pro Brother: Will, 23, college football player in his senior year at DCU Alanna was an accidental child; her mum wasn't supposed to get pregnant again, but wups. As a result, she became the b*****d stepchild of the family, largely ignored except for perfunctory things like allowance and birthdays. On the other side of the coin, her older brothers were treated like princes by their football-mad parents, doted on and spoiled rotten. All Alanna wanted was attention and approval, so she did the only thing an ignored child can do: she acted out and got in trouble. All she got as a result of that was punishment from her parents, particularly her father, and torment (sometimes physical torment, bordering on torture) from her much larger brothers. The one bright spot came from her uncle Alan, her mum's brother, whom she was named after. He gave her an acoustic guitar for her 10th birthday and paid for lessons for Alanna to learn how to play it. Music became her escape, especially metal and punk, the more aggro the better; she took to guitar and making music like a duck to water and would play it for hours at a time in her room. Another major turning point in her life was when she realized she was gay at age 13 (and switched to bass guitar); her world turned upside down and suddenly everything made sense to her. She came out almost immediately to her family, but they never accepted her or approved of her newfound sense of self (they still don't). That hurt, at least a little, but whatever, she was who she was and they had never accepted or approved of her anyway. And she was defiantly out and proud at school, despite occasional harassment at the hands of her fellow Meadowview students. She graduated from Meadowview High with good marks, and applied to and enrolled straight into DCU without a break. Settling on music as a major straight away, with a focus on composing, Alanna knew what she was doing was the best thing she could do for herself. She got the hell out of her parents' house as soon as she possibly could and moved into the dorms. As fortune would have it, her dorm roommate was also a musician, a singer. The two hit it off immediately, bonding over their mutual love of music and their mutual queerness, and became fast friends. The two of them would play songs that they wrote together in their dorm room, driving the rest of the hall nuts with Alanna's bass guitar thumping and getting the RA furious at them. Like Al cared. One crazy night Alanna decided they needed to form a band; and when she woke up in the morning she came to the conclusion that even in the light of day this was a supremely awesome idea. Eventually she and her roommate got others to join the band, some from on campus, some friends of friends, wherever. The only requirements were that they were all female-presenting and queer, whether that meant they were cis (or otherwise) lesbians, drag queens, transfemme, or whatever. And that they loved to make noisy music. The name for this band was obvious, at least to Alanna – The Lezz Beans – and she ultimately defined their music as "aggro post-punk noise-pop". As Alanna's second year at DCU started, she and several of the other bandmates moved into an apartment off campus, situated in a converted Victorian house near the Arts District. It's turned into the band practice and party space, much to the chagrin of the neighbors. All that matters to Al though is that she's happily living the bachelor musician life, disgusting and wonderful and hilariously broke.

Alanna is basically a raging a*****e in shining armor. She can be a fierce defender of those she considers friends one minute, the class clown the next, and a complete jerk the next. This girl is as unpredictable and mercurial as the wind -- one never really knows what to expect from her. And she likes it that way.
Like most undergrads, she is a master penny-pincher and endlessly resourceful when it comes to living above her means. She haunts discount stores and cheap second-hand shops, as well as her job, and gets her co-workers at the thrift shop to mend her clothes until they can't be mended any longer.
She's uncannily accurate with arrows and other projectiles like darts. Her visual acuity is incredible, close to 20/10, and she seems to have an instinctive sense of how objects move through the air that enables her to get an arrow precisely where she wants it to be. Her depth perception is up there with the raptors (literally "hawk-eyed").
Truth is, Alanna is a fairly lonely girl. Her self-confidence was shattered by her parents and brothers, and the psychological scarring from that has never healed. So she hides it from her friends and bandmates, using her acting out and smart mouth and overall foul temperament like armor. Occasionally her soft interior will show, when she's playing one of the few moody songs she's written on her guitar. Moments like those, however, are few and far between.
Al is a beer snob. She loves imports (especially dark British ales) and microbrews and will talk your face off about beer. She'll drink your face off, too; she has the alcohol metabolizing powers of a frat-boy, despite her diminutive size. She also likes whiskey, preferring smooth peaty Scotch over anything else. Give her a bottle of Edradour and you'll have a friend and drinking buddy for life.
random likes: pretty people (especially curvy girls), head skritches, leather, looking good, eggs, long hot steamy showers, playing darts, strong black tea, vanilla lavender latte coffee random dislikes: rules, fish, the word "no", dirt, being cold, being wet involuntarily, being both cold and wet at the same time, bullies and homophobes, normies

Senshi: Sailor Robinhood, Senshi of Oubliettes18932 Robinhood is a main-belt asteroid discovered 28 August 2000 by J. Broughton at Reedy Creek Observatory. Robin Hood is the legendary medieval outlaw of Sherwood Forest in England; tales of his exploits are documented back to the 13th and 14th centuries, but the legend itself is thought to be much older. In fact, in the earliest known Robin Hood stories, Robin is a ruthless thug and brigand, robbing from the rich, keeping his ill-gotten gains for himself and his men, and outright killing anyone who gets in his way. According to later variations of the stories, Robin ultimately gets captured by his arch enemy, the Sheriff of Nottingham, and put in an oubliette – a small, dark dungeon accessed from the top where people are imprisoned and forgotten about. Eventually he is rescued by Little John, one of his band of outlaws. The oubliette believed to have held Robin Hood is located in Nottingham, beneath the Galleries of Justice in the city center. Attacks: Sailor Scout Attack: Dig a Hole.Robinhood holds her arm out, and an ethereal bow appears in her hand. With her other hand, she produces an ethereal arrow, which she quickly nocks, draws and looses at the target’s feet. An opening immediately appears in the ground below the target, and they drop into a black pit about twice as deep as they are tall. The oubliette is big enough that they can move around and try to get themself out of it. This attack lasts about 15 seconds, has three uses, and affects a single target within ten feet. Super Sailor Scout Attack: Down in the Dumps. Robinhood holds her arm out, and an ethereal bow appears in her hand. With her other hand, she produces an ethereal arrow, which she quickly nocks, draws and looses at the target’s feet. An opening immediately appears in the ground below the target, and they drop into a black pit about three times as deep as they are tall. The oubliette is just barely big enough that they can move around and try to get themself out of it. A sense of claustrophobia washes over them, even if they’re not normally claustrophobic. This attack lasts about 30 seconds, has two uses, and affects a single target within fifteen feet.
Eternal Sailor Attack: The Pit of Despair. Robinhood holds her arm out, and an ethereal bow appears in her hand. With her other hand, she produces five ethereal arrows, which she quickly nocks, draws and looses at the feet of up to five targets within 10 feet of her. An opening immediately appears in the ground below the targets, and they drop into a narrow, black pit deep enough so that the opening is four times their height above their heads. These oubliettes are so narrow they can barely turn around, let alone move their arms. A metal grate seals off the tops so they can’t get out, but they can still see the world above them. Beneath their feet, they can feel and hear the crunching of the bones of previous victims littering the bottom of the oubliette. The target is overcome with a powerful sense of despair and claustrophobia; the sense that they will never escape, never be set free overwhelms them, as does the inability to move. This attack lasts about 45 seconds, has one use, and affects up to five targets within ten feet. The targets can attempt to fight the sense of despair, but it won’t get them out of the oubliette any faster.
