[x]Meridah and Voda met as adventurous young foals when Voda frequently roamed the waters near Meridah's home. Voda saved Meridah when she slipped into the water while playing by the shore, unaware that she couldn’t swim. The two quickly became steadfast friends, and as Meridah trained to become a knight, she would often visit her Kelpie companion—whom, at first, she had mistaken for some kind of water dragon!
One day, the two found an egg that Meridah was convinced was a legitimate dragon egg. The young foals began caring for it as if they were its parents. But to their surprise, the egg hatched, not into a dragon, but into a hummingbird (which Meridah insisted was obviously a Phoenix). That day, they made a promise to raise the little Phoenix as best as they could.
[x] The small family continued to grow. By some miracle, the two adolescents managed to teach their young bird to fly! It wasn’t all smiles and laughter, though. Meridah began to confront the PTSD from her near-drowning incident, and in a vulnerable moment with Voda, the two devised a plan to reintroduce her to the water slowly and safely. After all, as a knight with a best friend who lived in the water, Meridah needed to be able to swim! With the support of Voda and Phoenix, Meridah took a small step into the sea. Unfortunately, this would be the last time she saw Voda. The very next day, tragedy struck, and in the middle of the night, Meridah was stolen away from her family by a stallion known to them. The family feared the worst—that he would kill Meridah to get back at them.
Left behind were Voda and Phoenix, who would need each other more than ever to hold on to the hope that Meridah was still alive.
[x] Years passed. Meridah was broken down piece by piece by her captors, slowly sinking to rock bottom before being rebuilt as a weapon. Brainwashed and turned into a sleeper agent, she was trained to infiltrate her family’s defenses. A young mare in her own right, she had finally returned to her homeland with the mission to kill her family. However, her smaller, secret family was not part of the plan. Through several encounters, Voda began to piece together that a whole new personality had emerged in Meridah—one that had buried the frightened little filly from all those years ago. Yet, as the past began to resurface, even Voda had to admit that Meridah was no longer the same filly she once knew—at least, not entirely.
[x] A ghost from their past soon returned, drawn by the scent of blood from the war further inland. A Bearshifter appeared, and as Phoenix warned her father about the fight, the two rushed to its location. There was a desperate struggle between Meridah, Voda, and Howl to keep the bear from eating their daughter. The conflict led them to the edge of a cliff, and in a terrifying moment, Howl and Meridah plunged into the ocean. Thankfully, Voda once again pulled Meridah from the water. Reunited in mind and heart, they admitted their feelings for each other, and their family was finally whole once more. The two realized that, while the past still held scars that needed healing, this was the beginning of something entirely new for them. For now, it was just them and Phoenix—together, a family they had fought so hard to reunite.

A herd attacked her parents - deciding the livbing pair were unfit and planning to steal and brainwash tyhe foals into a stepford smiler sort of herd. In the tussle, Kes' basket was went down the river, and she emerged alone. Her mother died and Kes began, as a foal, searching for her sibling.
Susanoo used to be uncharmed. A trickster and bringer of chaos with his brother Tsukiyomi, Susanoo was eventually charmed, and while still a tricketer, he and his brother found a home and herd charmed, and Susanoo took to travelling to spread both tricks and share his strength.
One day, Susanoo met a little Wind-Kelpi... Kes, and decided against his usual thoughts to perhaps cprotect her. Kes welcomed his help, actually, and Susanoo realized swiftly he loved her, and she him. Susanoo brought her into his herd, introduced her to his brother. They roamed, and as they've bonded, they've grown close - close enough when Kes found an orphaned basket, she brought it home to him 0 Nanner, a bear shiufter whom is uncharmed at present, devotyed to her mother. Susanoo absolutely loves Kes more than anything, and it keeps 'Father' and 'Daughter' by adoption from fighting, but Susanoo and Kes want a family. Although they still search, every day they draw ckoser, and Susanoo still remains Kes with his very life.

What's their story?: Once upon a time, a mostly-grown colt was sent out into the wide world to see what he would see. He went as far across his universe as he could until he met the Sea, Sea, Sea. And there he found his first love. And he proceeded to follow the stallion around like a lovesick ...pony. He Stood Too Close. The Stallion couldn't even go to the bathroom alone. So the laid-back stallion finally set some ground rules. And then they left the see to wander their universe right into the woods where they got locked in during a blizzard. There was a big cave system that they will eventually explore. But first they spent some Quality Time together. The End. But it isn't. Because there will be foals and reunions with Mom and find the Prodigal Uncle. Their journey has barely begun!

He was kalona, she was angeni, the romance was an inevitability. It was tumultuous, with lots of yelling, crying, and forgiveness. On again and off again, it felt like it spanned years with lots of in-between flings. In the end, they always come back to each other. (Sorta. Usually for special ocassions.)

Dahlia saw something in him that no one else could. He's a cocky, very conceited big pony in a little package type of guy, whereas Dahlia is the sweetest, humble alpaca. It was she who first felt feelings for him. She fought for a long time not to, but they wouldn't go away. He would try to push her away and she would long for him more. Secretly he enjoyed her attention and optimism that he could be a better pony. He would start fights and cause trouble just because someone looked at him wrong. Dahlia was able to help him heal his past traumas and become that better pony. It wasn't until he almost lost her to a shifter attack that he admitted his love for her. Ever since, he has been by her side.

If you don't feel like reading all of that, in summary: Pachamama, a shy and anxious member of the unicorn herd that has been kept safe & just a little bit trapped by her herd & overprotective father, went on one (1) exploration and narrowly escaped possibly getting hunted by a family of Kalonas. In her panic, she got 10000% lost. Ayaz, a founding member of the Gryps Nemoris herd, is a mercenary for hire and generally a do-gooder. When he ran into Pacha, terrified and alone, he promised to help her find her way back to her herd. Unfortunately, about .5 seconds after he made this promise, he took a tumble off a cliff (oh no!). Pacha had to gerry-rig a pully system to get him back on solid ground, which she managed, but only barely. They were both exhausted at that point, so they decided to remain there and camp for the night. In the morning, everyone felt better (except poor Ayaz's tattered hood), and Ayaz asked her to heal his light injuries from his fall. She didn't think she could, but then she did! She healed for the first time ever, and was shook about it. After doing so, Ayaz did get her safely home, where she was in So Much Trouble. Pacha thinks of Ayaz often; he probably thinks less of her, because he saves people all the time, but that was a Really Big Deal to Pacha. Not only was she able to help someone, she was able to actually heal them.
In my mind, they did not ~do the deed~, so a mock child would actually work best for them. Pacha's gonna wake up one day and BLAMMO!, a child.
Throwbacks: PLEASE. Please throwbacks are my favorite thing in the whole wide world. Ayaz is g1, but Pacha is not. However, I only have permission to use one parent as of right now, her father, Viracocha.
