Hobbies:
Astronomy - Space and the universe as a whole have fascinated Mimsy for as long as she can recall, from nights spent watching meteor showers as a child, to memorizing star charts for each horizon, to the theorizing surrounding what may or may not exist beyond our current perception. She hopes to study astrophysics when she grows up.
Reading - As an especially voracious reader, Mimsy read through all of the books available in her home at a pace her mothers did not anticipate. She prefers nonfiction, as she is still deeply curious about the way the world works, but does enjoy science fiction as well.
Insects - Any creepy crawlies are her favorite of creatures, especially arachnids. Learning their names and species is particularly fun for her, but she does enjoy just finding them in her surroundings as well.
Virtues:
Intellectual - Mimsy is highly logical, applying critical thinking above all else. She is good at gathering data, and is interested in using the scientific method to solve problems that arise.
Persistent - When facing down a goal, she refuses to stop until it is achieved to her satisfaction. She excels at putting all else aside to ensure that this is the case.
Calculated - Effectively the embodiment of 'think before you act', Mimsy is very careful about every decision she makes. All of her actions have tremendous thought behind them, and she can always show her work when asked.
Flaws:
Cold - Social niceties and casual affection are out of the question entirely. She doesn't see the point of these things, has no concept of how to do them, and does not care if it causes someone to avoid her as a result.
Obsessive - Mimsy is a little too good at going Down The Rabbit Hole. Beyond her persistence is a curiosity that doesn't know when to stop, even to the detriment of herself and those around her.
Withdrawn - Her tendency to isolate herself can be isolating to others. She doesn't like working in groups, and she generally tries to slip by unseen when possible. Socializing is unnecessary and interferes with what she is really interested in.

PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: teal green
Hair: black hair with bangs, braided into two neat, even braids on either side, ending below her waist
Face: slim, bordering severe, three small birthmark 'dots' below her right eye, dark rimmed glasses
Skin Tone: pale in an anemic sort of way
Body Type: spindly and tall for her age (or any age)
Clothes: even when not in uniform, she almost dresses as if she is - desaturated, monochrome clothes pressed and immaculately tidy, pleated skirts, collared shirts and dresses. Her most 'fun' clothing is anything in galaxy print, namely leggings and dresses.

Max - Younger Foster Brother
Cami and Mimsy are very close in age, and were born to Vanessa and Caroline respectively. Additionally, the Ryland moms are foster parents; Emery was adopted through the system. They are encouraged to embrace their individuality and strengths, even when their interests aren't necessarily something their moms know much about.
