"You've just received your paperwork to have the child. The child approaches you, looking very sad, but eager for something. Tugging on your clothes a little, they seem to want something. But what could it be? What item of yours do you give them? You choose an item and hand it to the child. It hugs the item and smiles as a light envelopes the child. When the light subsides, the child seems fine, but the item is gone."
After a hard day at work all Astraea wanted was to go home and relax it was still early afternoon so it wasn't too dark yet and the sun was just setting on the horizon. Today's work day was a long one she had to deal with so many things going wrong. Whatever couldn't go wrong went wrong on top of dealing with difficult customers who were complaining about how bad their day went to her, which was not part of her job description. She massaged her temples.
When she had reached her humble abode her mail box had its flag up indicating that she had received some mail. She paused for a moment and closed her eyes massaging them for a few seconds before opening her eyes and blinking to refocus. She popped open her mail box and pulled out her mail and as she walked up the front pathway she shifted through her mail, it was just bills and other things she needed to take care of she shook her head at the bills, it was part of being a responsible adult. She wanted to look at them later all she wanted to do was to go inside and relax. She put her keys in her special place by the door so she would know they were always there. But, just as she had put her stuff down her phone rang she let out a small exasperated sigh but picked up anyway.
The person on the other line introduced herself as Nova before continuing on "Hello, Am I speaking to a Miss Astraea? " Nova asked Astraea nodded her head "Hello! This is she, how can I help you?" she spoke into the receiver. "Oh, how lovely to speak to you Miss Astraea" Nova answered before moving on to explain what she did. "We have a special little girl, who is eager to meet you and I think you two would make a perfect pair, and I was just wondering if you would come down to the Sanctuary and meeting her in person" Nova said to her.
Astraea paused before answering, she pondered that maybe perhaps this would be good for her, she always wanted a child to raise and nurture and to her it would bring some happiness and excitement and it would be sure to keep her on her toes "I would love to come down and meet her in person" she answered cheerily. She asked Nova where it was and Nova gave her the information as well as directions to get there. "Ah, thank you I will be right there" she finished up and hung up. Nova had mentioned to her that she needed to bring something of personal value with her, she looked through her personal belongings looking for the perfect thing to bring to this little girl. She tapped her chin and decided that she would give the child a ring that her mother gave her,she wrapped it up neatly and kept it in a safe place in her bag.
She jumped into her vehicle and started to head towards the Sanctuary, following the directions to the tee, she hummed quietly to herself as she drove towards Sanctuary, so many questions and so many thoughts were running through her mind. Questions such as would she be a good parent? would she be able to teach her right from wrong? more importantly would the child like her? questions such as these were in the back of her mind, but she figured raising a child would have its on learning curve as well as its own rewards which made her more excited for this new adventure of parenting. She wiggled her seat eagerly but refocused on the road.
A short while later she had arrived at the Sanctuary she rolled down her window and looked around in awe. It was a beautiful place and had so many fine details that made the place look so inviting. She smiled to herself as she unbuckled herself and put her bag in her lap and double checked to make sure she had the special item. It was a ring that her mother had given her for one of her birthdays. She took if off when she went to work in fear she might lose it as she worked away and taking it off gave her some peace of mind that it was somewhere safe at her home. But, this time she was willing to give it to someone who would mean so much to her just as she did to her mother. She took a breath and opened her door and stepped out.
Nova came to greet Astraea with a warm smile "Ahh, welcome to Sanctuary Miss Astraea, now if you would kindly follow me and you can meet the special little child we spoke about on the phone" she said. Astraea followed Nova, after a few minutes of walking Nova gestured over a little child who seemed shy at first.
Astraea slowly walked towards the child as to not scare her and she held out her head lowering to the child's level "Hello, there little one, My name is Astraea and you are a beautiful girl. I have something special for you" she said and pulled out the special ring before taking the little girl's hand and gently placing the item in her hand with a warm smile.

Hi! My name is Estrella and the first few days of being taken under the care of Astraea has been interesting in a good way. Still a bit lonely since I don't have a whole lot of friends. I think I've met not even a handful of new metas, they seemed nice enough. I think their names were Artoki, Sun and Hexxis. Like I said before they seem nice and friendly enough. Though I have still a long way to go before a develop a decent sized social circle.
I've gotten settled into my new life, my bedroom is so pretty all of the furnishings are like a seafoam green and very comfortable. But, being unde the care of Astraea has been great so far. She is super nice and she makes sure that all my needs are taken care of. I haven't really travelled anywhere out of the home or my room yet, but I suppose those things come with time. I don't have a whole lot to write about in this entry because there hasn't really been much to write about yet. There are still some things that I need to discover about myself, but I'm hoping those will unravel as time goes on.
I'm pretty certain as the days go on I will have a whole more to write about. But, at the moment my adjustment to my new life has been great and I'm enjoying. Its been fairly quiet and calming so I don't really have anything to worry about yet.

Hey!!!! its me Estrella, sooooooo....an update I met a handsome boy named Leukos and we hit it off really well. He makes me so happy when he's around and gives me warm fuzzies everytime I'am around him. He also makes blush and one of the things I love about him is that his hair changes colors based on his moods. We had our 'first date' I went to his house and we made dinner together, it was chicken with veggies. Ahh...He just makes me soooo happy, all the while I noticed his hair staying consistently pink and red but I don't exactly know what that means. We also locked gazes with each other and shared a moment, I was soo tempted to kiss him but then I somehow regained control and moved away from it.
Right now...I feel like its more of a one-sided thing then a mutual thing, he hasn't really said much about it but for me personally, he makes me feel so warm and fuzzy. Is this what falling in love feels like? Its hard to say because i've never actually fallen in love with anyone yet...Leukos is my first but he hasn't really indicated he feels the same way so I suppose I could wait it out and wait for him to be completely comfortable with expressing his feelings. Until then I'm okay admiring him and liking him in silence.

So my dinner date with Leukos was a 100% successful, he was so sweet and I enjoyed his company. After we had dinner we watched a movie, but the movie ended late so I ended up staying overnight, but in a guest room. It was also our first kiss as well, and it was a blissful first kiss. We were both a little scared about it because we both didn't know how the other would react or even the repurcussions from that decision. But, in the end it was so worth it and at least now I know he cares about me, but I feel like he's hiding something from but I also haven't been completely honest with him either, I mean I haven't told him about my Xana form when I get wet but we just got started and I don't want to scare him off, his feelings might change for me if i told him that is something I worry about. But, I know I will have to tell him eventually, and prepare myself for the slight off chance that I might get heart broken once I tell him.
On another note, I'm also going to be meeting his mom, well his adopted mom someday soon too, that is giving me anxiety too, I hope she likes me. That is something I might have to worry about another time. I'm just enjoying the aftermath of our first kiss and it was glorious and I'm currently on cloud 9 with it.

So I decided to go to the Winter Party that is being held. Thought I was going to enjoy myself at the same time meet some of Leukos' family members but they were all busy except his sister Melody, she seemed okay at first and then she asked if I was part of some organization called the Zaku and if I was part of the mafia, which gave me high level of anxiety. I don't even know who they are, so I don't understand why she would ask me such questions. If Melody is any indication then the rest of his family will be just as difficult to deal with.
Unfortunately for me..I do not have nerves of steel like everyone else so I'm not sure how this is going to go or I'm doomed forever. *massages temples* But no...I'm going to do this for Leukos because I really care for him and I don't want to seem like i'm too weak to handle his interesting....family.
