█ HEIGHT ▬ 6'0 █WEIGHT ▬ 186lb
█ HAIR ▬ Black █CLOTHING ▬ - Usual outfit - Soldier Outfit █ ACCESSORIES ▬ Black Collar █EYES ▬ Blue █ BUILD ▬ Lean, muscular █TATTOOS ▬ EVL﹥﹥004﹥﹥016 on the inside of his left arm. One of a Red Hawk on his back, wings extending to shoulder blades and the head/ body centered between and extending down the back. █ SCARS ▬ None █MARKINGS/FAUNUS FEATURES ▬ Elongated fangs instead of usual canines (1.5 inches in length, pointed shape). Looks as if he were only 22. █ Feral ▬ Gallo, when feral, has his eyes turn a blood red color and his fangs elongate further to 3 inches in length and become sharper. Further, his veins turn a dark blue in color (that shows despite being underneath skin) as they almost seem to writhe beneath the skin. From any wound he suffers that would cause him to bleed, a dark blue ichor would flow instead.

"And the paranoid brain feeding the side effects..."
█ Relation ▬ Mary and Gallo have a complex relationship. To him, she is something to be avoided and interact sparingly. Something that forces him to do things he has no desire to, that keeps him caged like a bird. To her, he is her world. She would do anything to protect him and keep him for herself. Going to whatever extreme she finds necessary to keep him "safe" and hers alone. █Communication ▬ Mary communicates to Gallow by a feminine voice heard in his mind, and hallucinations of her around him. To him, she is very real physically when she chooses to appear before him, but no one else would be able to feel, hear, or see her other than Gallo normally. █ Appearance ▬ To Gallo, Mary takes the shape of a red haired girl, not much younger than him, who is 5'4 ft in height. She commonly has her hair tied into pig tails with two large black and white ribbons. One of hers eyes is greenish/blue, while the other is entirely red. Look one, two, three, and four. In actuality though, the parasite (if ever outside of Gallows) looks much like a silver fish and is about 3 inches in length. █The cost ▬ Gallows symbiote resides over his heart; to feed on blood and because of her affection to her host. As such, she has partially embedded herself to it to help feed and sustain herself in such a way that she became a necessary part to its function. If she were ever to leave Gallows and not return, it would leave a damaged heart in its place because of how much she had embedded herself. This would leave Gallows with heart issues that could prove life threatening.

"A downward spiral. A descent into madness..."
█ NATURAL ABILITIES █Primary Talent ▬ Kusarigamajutsu: Gallo has used a kusarigama for much of his life and knows how to use it to the fullest; be it the ball and chain, chain alone, or the kama aspect of it, he knows how to flow from one function/ use to another to be deadly in and out of a fight. █ Faunus Trait/Bonus Talent ▬ Sanguine sense: He has heat sensors that allow him to detect where the blood vessels and heart are in a person (like image below archetype). This trait is best used at night, in dark/ cool areas (like a cave), or in extreme cold since it is based on heat produced by a persons blood. This essentially works by sight; if there are thick, solid, obstacles in the way he can't see past it. █ Other Talents ▬ Strength, Intelligent █ LEARNT ABILITIES █Strongest Skill ▬ Accuracy: Be it a thrown weapon like a knife or one that needs aim like a gun, Gallo knows what he needs to do to hit his mark and follows through. █ Weakest Skill ▬ Hallucinations: The character suffers from hallucinations in and out of combat. This can take many forms, and has many effects on the user depending on the situation; be it making him see more enemies than their truly are, having to dodge phantom blows and real ones without being able to tell, and it having physical effects on him despite being from his mind (his mind will make him feel and body react as if he suffered a wound from a hallucination). ▬ The Hunger: Gallo has a need to feed on blood at least once every two days, or he will go feral. He loses control with a lack of it, as he has an overwhelming desire for it, by acting almost animal like nature till his symbiote is sated. If its been 4-6 days, he will be very weak and slow down a lot. On the eighth day, he would be unable to move. If it gets to ten days, he would perish. ▬ Hive Mind: Occasionally, you may hear a commanding voice that you may never have met in person before. It may give you orders from time to time or try to exert control. Resistance is almost futile. (This means that a crew member can say your character is strongly compelled to do something, even if it is against their nature usually, but you can discuss how well your character can or can't resist it)
█Other Skills ▬ - Strong Will: Gallows has been through a lot in life, and as such, has developed a strong mental fortitude. He can resist tortures and persevere through pain. - Anatomy: He knows where the major organs usually are in an individual, be it human or faunus, as well as the bones, tissues, and everything else that makes it up (unless its animal physiology based for faunus). As such, he knows what can lead to disabling, killing, or just hurt like hell (non lethal disabling) when certain parts are damaged. - Atlas Tech: Having lived most his life in Mantle and Atlas, Gallo has learned the workings of most the technology there. He can use, hot-wire, modify, and get into most technology based on Atlas design.

To those he deems family, he can be caring, compassionate and even joyful. But to most others he is cold, apathetic, and can seem cruel. His mentality is very much you are with him or against him as unless you are considered family or an employer you do not matter to him. █ Vernacular ▬ (voice clips from 2:11-3:25, and again at 4:05-4:25) █Positive Traits ▬ Determined, Calculated █ Negative Traits ▬ Cold, Ruthless

"There is no shutting off the heat..."
█ BACKGROUND ▬ Gallus was born in the slums of Mantle and raised solely by his mother. He was the child of an affair between an Atlesian officer and a Mistral refugee, but he doesn't consider the man to have been much of one. Mostly because he was absent the entirety of Gallo's life, without him even knowing who his father was or even his name. His mother had fled to Mantle during the fall of Mistral, being the only survivor of a once wealthy family. But her fortunes did not make the sea journey with her; it was left behind in her home in Mistral in order for her to even escape. As such, Mantle was a very cruel place for the duo. Being the poor neighbor to Atlas, prospects and living conditions were far from ideal. Their own residence was kept more by fortune than by anything else, as the person sympathized with them and let them stay dirt cheap. But...there were limited jobs, and the ones available were hazardous both to health and safety. Gallo's mother would throw herself into work to support herself and child, but more so the latter. Oftentimes other people in their community would have to watch Gallo for most of the day while she worked. This continued on until he was 9 years old. After one of her jobs, his mother had returned home coughing and sick. When he asked how she was, she would reassure him that it was nothing and she just needed to rest for a few days before she would be better. She never did get better. As the days went on, her sickness grew worse. She couldn't afford to go to a doctor, and since Gallo was too young to work...he couldn't make money for her to help. But she still did her best to care for her child, using the little money she had to make sure he had something to eat...until one day where she was at her weakest he had ever seen her. She had called him to her to tell him that she was sorry, and had something to give him. A hard-light dust knife, something he could use to protect himself in the future. And as she gave it to him, telling him how she loved him and needed him to be strong...she would pass on from this world.
Gallo had spent many days mourning his mother, but also transitioning into his new life. Without her, he had to find a way to support himself. To make money, to get food. But he was still so young, in experienced, and there was little opportunity in Mantle. He would always see these signs about Atlas, always hear others say how everything was nicer there. He wanted to go there. And so...Young Gallo would soon find himself falling into the wrong group. Kids, equally poor or orphaned, that banned together to create this loose affiliation of crime. He learned how to steal, to beg, and all manner of things in order to get food or enough money to buy some. He also learned that what you didn't have, you could take if you were strong enough. And went the next year of Gallows life; scavenging, stealing, fighting, whatever it took to survive. His hard-light knife helped him greatly; giving him an edge over the other poor kids when fighting or even against people who tried to rob him of his ill-gotten goods. That all changed when he was 11 years old. He had been hearing a lot about a group of people, called the Band of the Hawk, that would do all sorts of jobs and were going to "escape" Mantle. A group that, if you played your cards right, would make it to Atlas. Despite the harsh realities of the world, Atlas remained that beacon of hope to him. The thing that justified all he did to live, the goal of a better life. It didn't matter how fearsome there reputation was or what they did; at the end of the day, it was you or them. And they were his best chance of escaping his current life for a better one. So when he heard about where they were stationed...he didn't hesitate. taking his meager belongings, he would head to their base and try to get into the group.
The experience...was a kick in the teeth for the young boy. So eager to join he overlooked one detail...most the members were older than him. And much better fighters. He had come in proud and determined, saying he wanted to be part of the Hawks. Which elicited a lot of laughs from the members there, and many saying he should scram as they were looking for fighters rather than children. This...had made the young Gallo a bit mad, and led him to challenging them to a fight to prove himself. While one jokingly took him on...he was caught off guard by Gallo's ferocity and wily nature. While he would not be a match for any of them normally, he managed to get a few hits in before the person became serious...and more than a little ticked off at the brat. Before a fight could really start though a commanding female voice would call the hawk down. And that was the first time Gallo met Sonya Maul. She would instead challenge him to a fight, to prove his worth. Feeling confident after his bout with one of the hawks, Gallo would try a similar strategy...and end up on the ground with no idea what happened. As she talked down to him, he would continue to get up and try to attack. And continue to be knocked back down over and over again. He wasn't sure how many times he ended up on his back, how many times he was told he wasn't good enough...but at some point, as she looked down at him, she would change her demeanor with a slight smile. Rather than say anything demeaning, that a child didn't belong there...she would look to the rest of the hawks. Saying he was not ready to be a hawk...but he would be in the future. He would be taken in as a prospect, to be trained by her and the hawks. And when he was older he would go through the initiation...to die or become one of the hawks.
And so began Gallo's life with the hawks. Being a kid...did not endear him to many of this mercenary company. In fact, it typically had the opposite effect. Many were especially hard on him. Some didn't like the boss giving him the special treatment, while others were trying to deter the kid from pursuing this life. But nothing was going to dissuade him. He knew what his old life was...and that any chance to get away from it was worth it, no matter the price. Any chance to reach his dream of making it to Atlas...he would take. While the early years certainly weren't easy...he had intensive training every day, forced to work for his keep, hard to learn as well alongside all the animosity...he slowly was accepted. The one who was the hardest to get acceptance, of them all, was Sonya. Despite her being the reason he was even in there, her "favoritism" didn't extend any further. If he failed, he learned the price of failure. Success wasn't something rewarded, but something to be expected. But...eventually that did change. Faces once dead set on getting him to quit would become people who would joke with the boy and try to help him out. He was slowly accepted into this family of mercenaries for the most part. Even the leader, while not easing on him, began to treat him more like family as well. To him, she was almost a second mother to him. He would begin to be included in things other than just training, hear plans for the Hawks, be able to watch as they did jobs. Most importantly, he began to enjoy their company. And while he did start out as a scrawny, weak, kid...he would slowly become tougher, stronger, and better than he was before.
By the age of 13, he was ready for his initiation. Armed only with his hard light knife, he was sent on a contract the Hawks took to eliminate a local criminal in Mantle. Whether he succeeded or not, the Hawks would turn in the bounty. But failure...failure would cost him his own life. Given the last known location, he would set off in the depths of the night to mask himself. The target was in a two story building, and lightly guarded from what he could see by way of his blood vision. With how cold nights were in mantle, the living stood out like sore thumbs. Especially with his naturally enhanced vision for being a faunus. So Gallo would creep forward, using the darkness as cover, towards a side door of the building that seemed to have only one guard. Thankfully it was a windy night which helped masked his approach and the sounds he made...so he was by the guard and stabbing him through the chest with his hardlight blade before his aura could go up. It was the first time Gallo had actually taken a life; the blood pooling out and the man's death sounds shaking the boy for a moment before he shook his head to resolve himself. 'Any means necessary. Any sacrifice worth the cost.' He merely told himself in his mind, remembering what was taught of him of the Hawks. He would pull the blade out of the body slowly...and creep inside the building. What followed...was not as clean as he had hoped. Shortly in the building he had been discovered...and forced to fight. His only advantage had been killing the lights, so when the guards came they didn't know where the intruder was. He had rushed the one who spotted him before the guy could raise his gun, and tackled him to the ground. After a a brief struggle between the two of them, Gallo trying to wrestle the gun from the guard and the guard knock him off, Gallo switched his focus to just punching the man to loosen his grip. Which worked just barely fast enough for Gallo to wrench the gun form his hand and knock him out with the butt of it. Keeping the gun, he would rush towards the kitchen as guards started to come into the dark room and fan out. Gallo, thinking quickly, would turn on the stove...and slowly creep around the room, using his special vision to keep an eye on the guards. Once he made it to the stairs he would turn, aim...and fire at the stove. The resulting explosion sent him crashing hard against the stairs behind him, and left the lower floor on fire. Groaning, he didn't even give the lower room a second glance before dropping the gun and stumbling up the stairs with his hard light knife ready. He would systematically go room by room, trying to find his target but finding most empty. There was only one room left that he could be in, so taking a deep breath Gallo would go to the room and slowly push it open...and immediately get the butt of a gun to his temple. Reeling from the blow, Gallo would stumble and fall onto his back as his target stood over him with gun pointed at him. There must've been some surprise for the man to see someone as young as Gallo there because he hesitated. Something he would soon regret. Not wasting a second, Gallo would kick at the guy's legs which messed his aim up just enough for the bullets to go over his head...and gave Gallo time to rise and tackle the guy. The ensuing brawl sent both knife and gun spinning away as the two wrestled and fought, going back into the room the man had been in prior. Eventually, the man seemed to have the upper hand as he acquired Gallo's knife and had the kid backed up to a table with nowhere to go. Looking around wildly for anything he could use, he would notice a weird weapon nearby and quickly grabbed it. It seemed to be a sickle with a chain attached, and wanting to keep distance...Gallo would spin the chain. Seeing that, the guy tried to rush him and Gallo reflexively threw the chain to the guy, not quite realizing there was a metal ball at the end of it. The guy tried to block with the knife but not fast enough, and it wrapped around his neck.Still holding the knife, his hands would go to the chain to try and pull it off as Gallo noticed the rafter of the building were reachable with the table...and quickly climbed onto the table before jumping onto the rafter. Pulling on the chain so it was tight...he would jump down the other end of the rafter. Using himself as a weight and momentum for the fall, the man would be pulled up by the neck till his legs were off the ground. Hearing the sounds of him struggle, Gallo resolutely strained as much as he could to pull/ keep the man in air till he no longer made a sound. It was only two minutes after that did Gallo finally let go of the chain so the body could crash to the floor. Panting, and bleeding, Gallo would go over to the body and pick up his hardlight knife...Before he would thrust it into the man to ensure he was dead. The spray of blood when he pulled it out lightly coated Gallo's clothes...and even more so when he took the time to get the chain off the man. New weapon in hand he would jump out the window, as the fires reached the room of his execution, into the cold world outside. His first job complete, Gallo was now part of the Hawks. He was allowed to keep the kusarigama he stole as his own.
The years following that were almost a blur. Now a member of the Hawks, Gallo would join them in larger scale jobs. And go through even more intensive training. Liking the versatility of the Kusarigama, he focused his weapon training mostly with that weapon to understand it's complexities and uses and he grew a reputation based off the weapon. He was known as the Crimson Gallows, or just Gallows for short, due to how many of his targets died bloody and hanging given his weapon of choice. His initial shock from his first mission was gone now; taking a life after the first few became much easier when it was a you versus them mentality. The only way to a better life for them was to do the jobs no one else wanted to or could do. They were ruthless mercenaries to the highest bidder, and would do almost anything for the right price. Anything to achieve their dreams. The dream of Atlas. Atlas was the promise of a better life they all wanted, and to achieve their dream of getting there they would do almost anything. Many of their group had not seen Atlas, but their leader had. And such stories gave the group, and Gallo, hope. And with that ultimate goal in mind, Gallo stayed devoted to the hawks. To the point he could almost forget his life before them, seeing all of them as some sort of family to him. And as their reputation grew, so too did their jobs and numbers. The Band of the Hawk was flourishing, and those in Atlas noticed. They would get more and more jobs from Atlesians themselves, and Gallo was sometimes allowed to accompany Sonya with a few others to Atlas to discuss the jobs and turn proof of completion in. What he saw left him simultaneously in awe and disgust. The former was to how much...nicer and generally better everything there was compared to Mantle; from buildings to technology, outfits to food. He even picked up a black and white outfit with fur lining, boots, and gloves from one of the shops that particularly caught his eye with some of his extra money. But what had left him in disgust...was how much better things were here than Mantle, when Mantle was right next to such prosperity. He knew what life was like for the poor in the streets of Mantle...and seeing such excess here was bittersweet. His leader, and others of the hawks, would share the sentiment with him but also say there was little they could do besides escape from Mantle themselves. It was why the band only took members from Mantle; people who suffered as they had, knew hardship, and would be loyal.
During these years, they would take jobs from a variety of clients. Usually these were legal...but some would pay for less than legal eliminations. In these cases, the Band of the Hawk couldn't openly do the jobs. Discretion was needed. And so Gallows would find himself often in the presence of Annamoretta. TBD
The Hawks dreams of Atlas were never realized. Despite being recognized as an official and legal mercenary group for Atlas, it was near the time of it's fall. There was no fancy buildings, no special treatment, no guarantee of anything. The Atleasians treated them as lower class because of their profession and being from Mantle, their reputation and success meaning nothing to them. Instead of hunting people and Grimm, they were committed almost exclusively to grimm based missions. And they had to prioritize Atlas over Mantle, which didn't quite sit well with all of them. While Mantle was no haven, it had been their home for many years. But this was what their dream was...if in not so great times. So the Hawks did what they always did; finish the job no matter the cost. But it became increasingly obvious they couldn't last forever. Atlas and Mantle's days were numbered. And it was in the final days that Atlas and Mantle stood that tragedy would befall the Hawks. They were given a job to escort a group of scientists from a lab outside of Mantle back to Atlas for evacuation, and were to be accompanied by group of robot soldiers and an officer from Atlas as well to ensure it was successful. Many of the Hawks protested, but a job was a job. Once done, they were going to be compensated and promised a way off as well for them and their families. The job had been going well enough at first; scientists cooperative and secure, travel through the wastes seeming alright...but then the grimm came. It didn't quite matter at that moment what had attracted them, but the Atlas soldiers were quick to send the Hawks to deal with the Grimm while they protected the scientists. Not having time to argue it, they Hawks did so and went to fight the grimm. They were winning to, holding the line of Grimm...but there was much more than expected. It almost seemed like an army of them. And then the sound of gunfire. At first, it was welcome as they thought the Atlesians were helping them get rid of the grimm. But as the screams began, it quickly became apparent they hadn't been aiming at the grimm but rather at the Hawks. Caught between soldiers and Grimm, the Hawks had to break one line for safety but there was too much chaos for such an organized action to occur. Everyone split, trying to punch through from either side and fighting valiantly...but caught between the soldiers and grimm, the Hawks could not last. It was a bloody and gruesome scene.
Gallo was caught in the midst of this as the fighting began. His kusarigama trophy still in hand, he would cut down the weaker with kama and hold others off with the spinning chain. When the gun shots started firing, he looked for his leader for guidance...only to see her locked in battle with grimm still. He saw some of his fellow Hawks try to rush/ approach the robot soldiers but with the distance between them...he knew they wouldn't make it. They had to punch through the grimm to make it. Fighting his way past Grimm as Hawks fell all around him, he would fight besides his leader to try and push through with her. For a moment, with her and some of the other Hawks, it felt possible. That they could do it. And then...he was flying. He had no clue what hit him, only that it had hit him hard. Hitting the snow covered ground, he would skid a few feet before coming to a stop. Groaning, he would try to rise but as he opened his eyes he would see an ursa right above him. Gritting his teeth, he would glare defiantly at it as it was about to kill him. Before it could strike the blow though it paused...and was blasted away. Looking over his shoulder, he would see his leader fighting to him and help him to his feet, putting his arm over her shoulder. Together, and with a few other Hawks, they moved to what seemed like an opening...only to be cut shot by gunfire. At some point, the robots had sent a few around to catch any that had made it through...and the last thing Gallo saw was the flash of the gun before everything went dark as he felt the pain of the bullets before nothing.
Gallo awoke much later, feeling incredibly weak and dizzy. Ice adorned his body as his eyes slowly opened. He was seeing the sky...he had fallen onto his back. He tried to rise to a sitting position but couldn't a he felt a sharp pain go through him and laid back down. Panting lightly, he would steel his nerves and force himself up to sitting position now that he was expecting the pain; grunting from the pain and gritting his teeth from doing so, and having to close his eyes from the exertion. When he opened them again, he almost wished he hadn't. Before him...Lay what he could only see as a graveyard. There were no grimm anymore...but there were what was left of the hawk. The bodies of them at least. All around him he saw the carnage of the battle before, and as he looked he felt sick...before feeling a pain to his chest. Instinctively putting his hand to it to cover it, he would feel a wetness through his gloves. Pulling the hand back and looking, he would see blood...and remember the bullets. Squeezing his hands into fists and gritting his teeth...he would force himself to his feet, letting out pained gasps as he did so and only just barely managing to stand. His only thoughts were if any of the Hawks made it, knowing he probably didn't have long, to the point he hadn't even noticed his kusarigama had been broken. And then he remembered his leader too. Looking around, he would see her prone with face to the ground. Stumbling, he would somehow make it to her before crashing to his knees and pushing her body so she would be on her back...checking and hoping she was still alive. At first he was sure she was dead...but a sudden gasp into coughing fit gave him hope. He tried to help her but...he wasn't sure there was anything he could do. And then she would beckon him closer as her voice was barely a whisper. Asking him for vengeance for the Hawks. She made him swear it. And while he wasn't sure he would survive much longer than her..he did. He swore to avenge the hawks. She would then give him her weapon...before falling forever silent. Gallo, for the first time in many years, cried as he hugged her body...and slowly faded to unconsciousness. The last thing he heard, or maybe imagined, was a voice female voice saying she would protect him and be with him. He allowed himself to imagine it was that of his leader, even if he knew she was dead.
Gallo awoke later, though not sure how much time had truly passed on this desolate day. He hadn't even truly expected to wake up, having thought he was having his final sleep. Even now, he thought it was just to prolong his own agony before he realized something...he no longer felt pain. Moving did not hurt. Looking and feeling himself, while still covered in blood...he no longer could feel any wounds. He would slowly rise to his feet, confused that he could move his body at all. Questioning if he had died or not and this was the afterlife. But then he would hear a voice, the same one he heard before passing out...only now he could tell it was not his leaders but another. Looking around he would see a red haired girl with strangely colored eyes...who did not seem dressed for this weather in the slightest. She would urge him to trust her and that he had to go, that she saved him and would explain later. As he hesitantly followed her he would look around...and just barely notice something with his special vision. Someone was still alive. She would tell him there was no point and they had to go now, but he wouldn't listen. Going over to the person, he would double check and see he had a pulse and was stable for now...but seemed badly wounded and unconscious. Picking him up and putting him over his shoulder, Gallo would follow after the girl towards Mantle...and past that Atlas.
They had barely made it to the last shuttle. Having to carry the unconscious Hawk the entire way, with no help from the girl, hadn't exactly helped with their timing. When asked who they were, Gallo merely said they were from mantle and were attacked by grimm on the way here. As they got on, and the Hawk given medical attention, he would notice no one seemed to notice the girl whatsoever. But he didn't quite question it for now...instead picking a corner of the vehicle to rest and keep watch over the only other surviving Hawk he knew of. He would slowly drift to sleep, and have nightmares about the betrayal...only to be soothed by that same girl again in his dreams. He wasn't sure why she was there or what her motive was but...he trusted her for now. He would awake before the other Hawk, and fill him in on what occurred once he was settled. TBD
Gallo reached Vale with his world turned upside down, to say the least. His dreams of Atlas...gone, along with the city. His family in the Hawks...all dead, save him and one member as far as he knew. His reputation as a Hawk...buried in the snow covered wastes of Atlas, only remembered by those who fled from there. And to add to that...he had learned where the girl came from, and what she truly was. A creature inside of him...the only reason he had survived the betrayal, the one who had guided him back to safety, that had previously had his leader as a host. One who seemed to already know everything about him, but he very little about her. And his new life as a Vampyr as she told him of his need to feed to survive. He hadn't quite believed that last part at first...until he had started going feral, as she called it. Feeling weak, physically changing, and having a desperate need for blood. And satiating it in that state...the person did not survive his first feeding. All this at once, in a new environment...took a lot of time for him to adapt to. But he did. He had to start anew. So he learned when he had to feed and started choosing his targets; preferably Atlas Elites, though the common beggar if the need arose. Or, if he were lucky, a blood clinic so he didn't have to kill. He would slowly learn more about his symbiote, and the advantages she did provide for him. He would start to take jobs again, in the name of the Hawks, for three reasons; one was to try to bait the person who betrayed them to revealing themselves so he could enact revenge, the other was to carry on the memory of his family, and the final one was so if any Hawk was alive they could be found. He would even find old clients the Hawks used to serve, such as Annamoretta, while also working with the one surviving Hawk he knew of.

█ *NAME ▬ Evolution █*AURA COLOR ▬ Dark Blue █ *DESCRIPTION █ ▬ This semblance is a way to make will and thought into reality, to a degree. Augmented by the symbiote inside of him, Gallows is able to do feats most could not. Fueled by his emotions and controlled by his will, Gallows has the ability to use a form of telekinesis to manipulate his surroundings/ others and to even influence minds.
█ *LEVEL 0 ▬ (Peace is a lie, there is only passion) Minor Telekinesis: At the offset with this raw and untapped ability, Gallows can only use his telekinetic power in one way; to push others/ objects. This is done by holding his hand out (palms forward) with fingers straight up to the target he wants to push.
Mind Trick: The ability to influence another with a "mind trick" by waving one hand in front of them and keeping eye contact. By doing so, part of the user's aura would go to the other and make them more susceptible to his words. Choosing to believe him for whatever he says for a short while but not forcing them to act.
Passion: Throughout all his levels, Gallows' powers are influenced by his emotions. The stronger the emotion, the stronger his power will be. By channeling strong emotions (such as anger, love, disgust, and/ or fear), he can use his abilities to their full extent with less build up time.
█*LEVEL 1 ▬ (Through passion, I gain strength) At this point, Gallows has had sufficient time to acquaint himself with his abilities and expand on his limits.
Telekinesis: He is now able to lift, pull, and move others/ objects with his telekinetic abilities by moving his hand(s) that are being used for it. To lift, he has his hand with palm facing the sky and brings it straight up. To pull or move, he makes a gesture of reaching out to the object with palm facing the target and fingers outstretched to the target as well. Then he merely moves his hand in the direction he wants to move them (left, right, towards him, away, etc).
Choke: He can apply pressure specifically to their throat, making it feel like someone was strangling them and making it hard for them to breath. The gesture for this is as if he were wrapping his hand around their throats. This can be used in combination with telekinesis to prevent a target from moving away or even by lifting them into the air. They would still have control of all their limbs though.
█ *LEVEL 2 ▬ (Through strength, I gain power) At this level, Gallo has learned to refine his control on the telekinetic and mental dominant aspect of his semblance.
Crush: With the telekinesis, by bringing the palms of both hands slowly together, he can cause the victim/object to feel pressure coming at them from all sides and, eventually, lead to them being crushed to a ball shape from the pressure. They can still move freely during this. They would, however, still feel the full pain and force of it.
Dominate Mind: At this level, his skill at influencing minds also increases. Now, he need only make eye contact with the person to bring them under his sway. Rather than just believe him, they will also follow his will and act accordingly to it. Once the effect ends, the person will have no memory of what occurred.
█*LEVEL 3 ▬ (Through power, I gain victory) At this level, Gallo has mastered his control over telekinesis. He is able to unleash it to his full potential at this stage, and can push himself to the absolute limit in terms of abilities.
Overcharge: While spending time building up all his aura, having both arms out with palms facing to the sky, he charges up his aura. Before doing so would kill him, he would bring his arms to his chest in a crossed position (like an X), making it a center point. Afterwards, he would quickly move his arms out straight (so his entire body is like a cross). This unleashes a devastating wave of his aura in all directions in a large radius that would disintegrate most things around him (not protected by aura; will do significant damage to aura defense) and leaves him with no powers for quite some time.
█ *DRAWBACKS (Through victory, my chains will be broken. The force shall free me.) General: - He must maintain line of sight with his target to affect them. - He has to make hand gestures to use the ability (described in each level). - Whenever he uses his semblance, his eyes glow. - For his telekinetic abilities when he is first going to affect his target, they would feel an invisible pressure around them (in whichever way for the intended effect) and it takes 1 post (only for people/Grimm/animals) before he would be able to actually start to control them (after the one post, he can freely manipulate; lift into air, move around in air, etc). They can still move their limbs and everything, they just feel a telekinetic force moving them. However, for a short term telekinetic effect (such as a brief push or pull) this does not require 1 post to do. Objects don't require the 1 post wait and can be manipulated in same post. - He can only affect a certain amount of weight per level (for telekinetic-like abilities) divided between both his hands (each hand only has half the force/max weight total per level). - For the telekinetic-like abilities, those with a certain level of strength can resist being controlled (they would still feel the force of it): *Level 0- Other skill strength or higher *Level 1- Strongest skill strength or higher *Level 2- Primary talent strength or higher *Level 3- Strength boosting semblance (if the boost makes their strength exceed 1600 lb capability) - Passion only applies if a source of one of those strong emotions is actually present. Through all levels, it removes the 2 post build up of channeling emotions/energy, and makes it only take 2 posts till he can use it at max power (50% of semblance power/ability per post essentially) afterwards. - In order to use his semblance at all, he has to channel his emotions or focus his will somehow (the only exception is Mind Trick and Dominate Mind). This can include minor emotions, like pain to feed anger or excitement/the heat of battle, and it can also be done by memories of times that made him feel one of the stronger emotions. - Gallows generates a lot of focused negativity with his semblance. As such, he becomes a Grimm magnet by being the source as they will usually focus him first (if he is actively using his semblance). - When using his semblance, it has to build up in power after he has channeled his emotions or will enough to use it. - At all levels, after he has used his semblance for as much as he could, he goes through a 5 post cool-down (or if he chooses to end semblance early this still triggers). If in the same fight still or hasn't stopped fighting since he started using it, he is able to start using it again at max power with no build up after the cool-down. If the fight ended/he was in a period of no combat during cool-down, then he has to build up again if he wants to use it. - Mind Trick and Dominate Mind require player consent. - Any object he manipulates with his telekinetic ability can have a faint dark blue outline (and people/Grimm/animals if he is controlling them after the 1 post build up to affect them). This is not a guarantee it will though (depends on roleplay reasons). Level 0: - His Telekinesis has a force of 200 lbs that can be used to push an object/person/creature. - For Mind Trick, anyone with a Will talent/skill or Intelligence talent/skill can resist his influence. Those who are a level above him automatically pass and are unaffected. Further, this effect only lasts for 3 posts. Afterwards, they cannot be influenced for the rest of the day. He can not order someone to directly harm themselves. He can only do this to one person at a time at level 0, and two people at level 1. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can use his semblance for 9 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 1: - His Telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 400 lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can only use choke on and after, his 4th post. He can use his semblance for 11 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 2: - His Telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 800 lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - For Dominate Mind, anyone with a primary Will or Intelligence talent can resist his influence. Those who are a level above him automatically pass and are unaffected. He must maintain eye contact for half a post. Further, this effect only lasts for 5 posts. Afterwards, they cannot be influenced for the rest of the day. He can not order someone to directly harm themselves. He can only do this to 2 people at a time. - If a person has aura up/on, Crush would take 5 posts to actually crush them as their aura would protect them. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can only use crush on and after, his 4th post. He can use his semblance for 13 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 3: - His Telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 1600 lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - Overcharge takes 2 posts to charge (where he can use no other abilities and can't move) after his usual 4-post charge-up. Using his Overcharge will leave him with no aura and unable to use his semblance for 10 posts. He cannot use Overcharge more than once per RP day because if he does so it will kill him. It has a 40-feet radius with Gallows as the center. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can use his semblance for 15 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here).

Looks as if he were only 22. █ Feral ▬ Gallo, when feral, has his eyes turn a blood red color and his fangs elongate. Further, his veins turn a dark blue in color (that shows despite being underneath skin) as they almost seem to writhe beneath the skin. From any wound he suffers that would cause him to bleed, a dark blue ichor would flow instead.

█ NATURAL ABILITIES █Primary Talent ▬ Kusarigama Mastery: Gallo has used a kusarigama for much of his life and knows how to use it to the fullest; be it the ball and chain, chain alone, or the kama aspect of it, he knows how to flow from one function/ use to another to be deadly in and out of a fight. (This means that a crew member can say your character is strongly compelled to do something, even if it is against their nature usually, but you can discuss how well your character can or can't resist it)
█Other Skills ▬ - Strong Will - Anatomy: He knows where the major organs usually are in an individual, be it human or faunus, as well as the bones, tissues, and everything else that makes it up (unless its animal physiology based for faunus).

Mind Trick: The ability to influence another with a "mind trick" by waving one hand in front of them and keeping eye contact. By doing so, part of the users aura would go to the other and make them more susceptible to his words. Choosing to believe him for whatever he says for a short while but not forcing them to act.
Passion: Throughout all his levels, Gallows powers are influenced by his emotions. The stronger the emotion and the stronger his power will be. By channeling strong emotions (such as anger, love, disgust, and/ or fear), he can use his abilities to their full extent with less build up time.
█*LEVEL 1▬ (Through passion, I gain strength) At this point, Gallows has had sufficient time to acquaint himself with his abilities and expand on his limits.
Telekinesis: He is now able to lift, pull, and move others/ objects with his telekinetic abilities by moving his hand(s) that are being used for it.
Choke: He can apply pressure specifically to their throat, making it feel like someone was strangling them and making it hard for them to breath. The gesture for this is as if he were wrapping his hand around their throats. This can be used in combination with telekinesis to prevent a target from moving away or even by lifting them into the air.
█ *LEVEL 2▬ (Through strength, I gain power) At this level, Gallo has learned to refine his control on the telekinetic and mental dominant aspect of his semblance.
Crush: With the telekinesis, by bringing the palms of both hands slowly together, he can cause the victim/object to feel pressure coming at them from all sides and, eventually, lead to them being crushed to a ball shape from the pressure.
Dominate Mind: At this level, his skill at influencing minds also increases. Now, he need only make eye contact with the person to bring them under his sway. Rather than just believe him, they will also follow his will and act accordingly to it. Once the effect ends, the person will have no memory of what occurred.
█*LEVEL 3 ▬ (Through power, I gain victory) At this level, Gallo has refined his control over telekinesis even more. He is able to unleash it to his full potential at this stage, and can push himself to the absolute limit in terms of abilities.
Overcharge: While spending time building up all his aura, having both arms out with palms facing to the sky, he charges up his aura. Before doing so would kill him, he would bring his arms to his chest in a crossed position to draw it to his chest as a center point. Afterwards, he would quickly move his arms out straight (so his entire body is like a cross). This unleashes a devastating wave of his aura in all directions in a large radius that would disintegrate most things around him (not protected by aura) and leaves him with no powers for quite some time.
█ *DRAWBACKS (Through victory, my chains will be broken. The force shall free me.) General: - He must maintain line of sight with his target to affect them - He has to make hand gestures to use the ability (described in each level) - Whenever he uses his semblance, his eyes glow. - For his telekinetic abilities when he is first going to affect them they would feel an invisible pressure around them (in whichever way for the intended effect) and it takes 1 post (only for people/ Grimm/ Animals) before he would be able to actually start to control them (after the one post, he can freely manipulate). Objects don't require the 1 post wait and can be manipulated in same post. - He can only affect a certain amount of weight per level (for telekinetic-like abilities) divided between both his hands (each hand only has half the force/max weight total per level). - For the telekinetic-like abilities, those with a certain level of strength can resist being controlled: Level 0- Other skill strength or higher Level 1- Strongest skill strength or higher Level 2- Primary talent strength or higher Level 3- Strength boosting semblance (if the boost makes their strength exceed 1600lb capability) - Passion only applies if a source of one of those strong emotions is actually present. Through all levels, it removes the 2 post build up of channeling emotions/ energy, and makes it only take 2 posts till he can use it at max power (50% of semblance power/ ability per post essentially) afterwards. - In order to use his semblance at all, he has to channel his emotions or focus his will somehow (the only exception is mind trick and dominate mind). This can include minor emotions, like pain to feed anger or excitement /the heat of battle, and it can also be done by memories of times that made him feel one of the stronger emotions. If the fight ended/ he was in a period of no combat during cool-down, then he has to build up again if he wants to use it. Level 0: - His telekinesis has a force of 200lbs that can be used to push an object/person/creature. He can only do this to one person at a time at level 0,and two people at level 1. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can use his semblance for 9 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 1 - His telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 400lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can only use choke on, and after, his fourth post.He can use his semblance for 11 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 2 - His telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 800lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - For Dominate Mind, anyone with a primary Will or Intelligence talent/skill can resist his influence. Those who are a level above him automatically pass and are unaffected. Further, this effect only lasts for 5 posts. Afterwards, they cannot be influenced for the rest of the day. He can not order someone to directly harm themselves. He can only do this to 2 people at a time. - If a person has aura, this would take 5 posts to actually crush them as their aura would protect them. They would, however, still feel the full pain and force of it. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can only use crush on, and after, his fourth post. He can use his semblance for 13 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here). Level 3 - His telekinesis has the force/max carry limit of 1600lbs that can be used on an object/person/creature. - Overcharge takes 2 posts to charge (where he can use no other abilities and can't move) after his usual 4 post charge up. Using his overcharge will leave him with no aura and unable to use his semblance for 10 posts. He cannot use overcharge more than once per rp day because if he does so it will kill him. - It normally takes 2 posts of combat to channel his emotions in order to use his semblance. Then, it takes 4 posts to use it at his strongest level/max, each post granting him 25%. He can use his semblance for 15 posts (the 2-4 post buildup included here).
Hello darling, I am your judge for today. We will tackle your semblance next round, but for now, let's address just a few things. ^^
*Optional edits/Curiosities*
• Faunus Feature: How long are the elongated fangs (1/2 inch, 1 inch, etc.)? Are they thin or thick points? • In Feral state: How much longer do the elongated fangs grow? • Random fact: The art of using a Kusarigama is called Kusarigamajutsu • Dislikes: RedactedCurious but won't go further into questions of what or why this is redacted. • Found these blank. On purpose? Dislikes: ▬ (Objects) ▬ (Animals)
*Must Edits/Clarifications*
• Faunus Trait: Sanguine sense - Is this only from sight? If further than his sight, how far up to can he sense a person's heat/blood? • Other Talents: Intelligent - I'm assuming this is just general intelligence rather than an intelligence in a specific area; but just need confirmation. • Other Skills: Strong Will - Just a bit of an example for clarification would be nice. • Primary Weapon ○ Nothing to really say on it; looks good. • Other Weapons: Knives - (You know I was going to ask this) How long are each of the blades.
*Reminder*
We Will tackle your Semblance next round.

Further, his veins turn a dark blue in color (that shows despite being underneath skin) as they almost seem to writhe beneath the skin. From any wound he suffers that would cause him to bleed, a dark blue ichor would flow instead.

█ █ ╫ A R C H E T Y P E ╫

Thankfully it was a windy night which helped masked his approach and the sounds he made...so he was by the guard and stabbing him through the chest with his hard-light blade before his aura could go up.

If the fight ended/ he was in a period of no combat during cool-down, then he has to build up again if he wants to use it. Level 0: - His telekinesis has a force of 200lbs that can be used to push an object/person/creature.
