3 Base Traits: Whimsical, Independent, Impractical
Personality: Uro is a very spiritual kind of gal. While she is able to see things as they are, she also sees things that are not as apparent and looks beyond the surface. She floats around like a leaf on a breeze, happy to interact with anyone and anything. Her free time is more often spent praying to the elements and dancing with the trees more than anything productive, but she is stepping up to the plate when it comes to running her grandmother's shop.
As a spiritually driven being, Uro believes that everything is connected to everything. As such, in order for everything to stay balanced, everything must be able to stand in a group as well as on its own. Uro loves interacting with her community, but rarely accepts help herself. She takes a small pride in being able to fend for herself, and is confident in her abilities.
That being said, Uro does not always do things the easy way. Many tasks she sets herself to end up taking a long time to accomplish. Rather than using the quickest route, she will take whichever one has the more appealing flowers growing. Rather than building a larger fire to cook a meal, she will use a small flame to be sure ‘the essence of the fire fully penetrates’ whatever is being cooked. While bathing, the water’s ‘energy’ is best when experienced in an icy cold stream rather than interrupting the flow to make a warm bath.
Overall, Urosangylea is a sweet, playful, spiritual gal who prefers to take care of than be taken care of. Two of her grandmother's foremost teachings were that just about everything happens for a reason, and that the bumps of life should be taken in stride. Negative emotions are unhealthy things to be avoided, so she does her best to acknowledge and release. Others might see her as having her head in the clouds, but Uro feels she sees the world clearly. While she might not have many close friends still, she is happy with her life.

Starting History:
Born to a pair of young lovers, Uro was always given a slightly dismissive treatment. Neither parent had actually wanted a child, seeing as how they were quickly learning that their affections had been merely physical. Once the two parted ways, Uro's mother returned to her home village while Uro went with her father to be raised by her grandmother, being that she was the only relative willing to take on the care of the toddler. The older woman, Rozamae, was a healer in the little tribe. Rozamae was determined to teach her precious granddaughter everything she knew. While Uro’s father worked and turned into a presence more than a father, Uro spent her time in Rozamae’s shop surrounded by symbols and crystals and prayers.
Despite her early years of being treated like a burden, Uro flourished under her grandmother’s care. She does not hold any grudges against her parents, because they gave her the way to a life she loves. Now, Uro helps out more actively at the clinic, and is considering continuing down the path her grandmother has laid for her.
*notes: Has an uncle with a wife and a child Uro's age. That part of the family see themselves as much more 'grounded' and 'practical' than the grandmother is, so they see her and Uro as a bit nutty and are not around very often.
