On the corner of First and Main sits a small little booth, unmissable with the large handmade signs painted all across and around the table. There are baskets and boxes surrounding the young women seated behind the table, who all proudly wear some form of attire advertising that they’re members of one of DCU's many sororities.
“Flowers for sale! Buy your friend or loved one a flower!” One calls out, trying to lure pedestrians closer.
“Or one for yourself!” Another adds on, holding up a bright, cheerily pink colored flower for display.
“What better way to support our fundraiser and make someone’s day?” 🌸 Welcome to our February Flower Exchange! From now until the end of February, you may use the flower .psd listed below to give another character (or yourself!) a pretty flower to make their day a little more special. Feel free to choose whatever color(s) you’d like - your imagination is the limit! If you’re in the mood to make flowers for others to use, that’s okay too! Each flower has a tag with it for you to address to whomever your character would like (please keep it PG-13 though!). Any and everyone can get their hands (or claws or paws) on a flower to give someone else and you're welcome to make these IC or OOC -- it's just a fun little thing for folks to do! As far as justifying the colors go -- you're welcome to use your imagination on how that happens too! A lot of the girls spent time letting the flowers sit in colored water, dyeing the petals that route - they can certainly have figured out other methods of your own device, to come up with how someone received a metallic blue and silver flower, for example!

For every flower you RP giving/receiving with your characters (it can be one they got from the fundraiser, one they plucked from their homeworld - again, your imagination is your limit, we only ask that a flower exchange be involved!) or for every flower you color for someone else using the template given, you may snag yourself one of the prize items listed below! You may only claim up to 5 of these prizes, but you are welcome to color an unlimited number of flowers. Valentine's Specialties Iridescent Rose - Somehow or another you've come into possession of a very special flower. It seems to change colors to all shades of the rainbow, varying itself as it pleases-- but only when you aren't looking, or maybe it's just when the light catches it just right. Either way, it smells as pleasant as a normal rose does and doesn't seem to be wilting...sounds like the perfect present for a special someone. Box of Chocolates - You've gotten your hands on small, sample sized box of chocolates which contain five particular pieces: bitter, dark, coconut, caramel and normal milk chocolate. Each piece, you come to discover, seems to alter your mood for thirty minutes to an hour after consuming it:
Bitter: You're suddenly feeling very bitter. Dark: You're feeling particularly wicked. Coconut: You're feeling suddenly zany and quirky Caramel: You're feeling more sensual and loving than normal. Milk Chocolate: You're feeling especially sweet and generous. Only one chocolate's effect works at a time so you may not want to eat them all at once!Teddy Bear - No matter how long you've been away from snuggling it, this teddy bear always feels warm when you return to give it a hug or a cuddle. For whatever reason, it seems to radiate both warmth and good feelings every time you snuggle up with it.

I Have a Free Flower!
Username: whimsical blue Flower: http://technicolorbutterfly.com/nobake-vday-flower.png Are you available to fill out the To/From tag for others?: -
So this one is kind of a simplified, no-skills-needed way for people to fill in a color for their flower without needing to work with a lot of layers or color lines.
Basically, you take the image, and you layer a color (or an image/pattern) under it, and it'll show up just inside the flower part. If you don't have an image editor like photoshop, there are some free online ones like: https://www.favicon-generator.org/image-editor/
Just save the flower image, then file > open it in the editor. Make a new layer with layer > new and then on the right side, use the up arrow to move your new layer above the flower image's layer. (technically it's below it in the layer order, idk why its ordered like that in the little window) Then just fill that layer with the paint bucket tool in whatever color you want. You can find a hex code for any color with google and put it in the space with the # sign.
The editor also has a text function, but I wasn't able to figure out how to tilt the text or move it around once you put it down. (though there is a preview option so you can at least see how its going to look before you hit okay)
It'll look kinda like this: http://technicolorbutterfly.com/Screen Shot 2019-02-14 at 5.04.10 PM.png
Then just File > Save as to save your flower!
