xxPERSONALITY: Imagine someone who is friendly and cheerful, kind and all around an outstanding person. Someone who goes out of his way to assist others and is an upstanding individual in his community.
Now take that description, put it in a blender. Blend it into some healthy sized chunks and then drink it whole to choke on it. Because Reese is nothing like that.
Reese would love to say he’s some deep and meaningful individual- actually no, he wouldn't. He’s abrasive and blunt, an unforgiving bully and a thug. He doesn’t really care about your feelings and has no problem being a jerk to others; doubly so if he’s getting a rise out of them. Tears don’t move him, pick a fight and he will fight back and break your face without faltering. He is indifferent to it all. If he isn’t ruining someone’s day, he’s probably doing less than savory things. Being a troublemaker/hellraiser is his profession and he performs it diligently.

It really didn’t do much for him and now he’s opted to go and terrorize the world or something.

The train ride from Hoenn to Unova was long and … well, straight up boring. Of course, whenever in the history of the world had train rides been exciting? Except maybe when they were getting hijacked by outlaws wanting to rob the rich people.
Reese might’ve dared to re-enact such a stunt if it didn’t risk him getting his a** kicked off; which, for once in his day to day life, wasn’t something he was trying to have happen. It’d taken a lot of talking and bitching and… arguing to get this far; on a train to a different region by himself. He needed to at least get to the laboratory and get registered as a trainer, maybe snag himself a free pokemon too before he broke every promise he’d made that allowed him to get that far. It was only fair.
"Now arriving at Nuvema Town." The loudspeaker sounded, drawing the young man’s attention away from his art project on the food trays he’d opted to engage in to occupy his time for the hour-long ride. Finally. He clicked the cap back onto his marker, snapping it back into the case with the rest of them before chucking that back into his bag. He did the kind thing of course and flipped both the tables for the seats he’d occupied back up; it was a sad moment to conceal the massive piece of graffiti that he’d sprawled across them but well… someone was sure to notice and appreciate it.
Once he was long gone of course.
Slinging his bag over his shoulder, Reese stood and shoved his way past the few others on the train to the exit, not much caring to listen to the grumbles and under-the-breath chastising the act brought. Maybe if they would get out of his way they wouldn’t be getting shoved in the first place among other things. Once he’d hopped off the train he stalked his way through the small town, the thrill of being in a new place clearly not etched on his bored expression.
Small towns. They sucked. Sure there was a port and an airstrip here but not much else. Nothing to do and nowhere to go; why was a laboratory out in a place like this anyways? It didn’t make much sense. Oh well, no one was asking his opinion on what made sense and he wasn’t really giving it.
He found his way to the correct building in only a few minutes and really without hesitation, shoved the door opened and entered with little to no announcement. It seemed… slow, today, which caused a hint of agitation. Great, would he have to like wait or something? He strolled towards the back, taking his time to glance at all the technical swizzle whizzle going on, eventually coming to a stop at the incubated table with three pokeballs enclosed inside.
"Hello?" Reese called out in an un-enthused tone, giving a quick glance around before returning his attention the case. He pressed his hands against the glass and peered in. Honestly, he could probably bust the lock and just take a pokemon if they took to long. He’d heard enough rumors of break ins and robberies in the recent months and by the look of this place, they still weren’t entirely taking it seriously. Not his problem though.
