Whale Island is a fairly large landmass for an island, but it only has one location to dock a ship, and that place is Port Ahoy. It's busy enough to see folks moving about at all times of day other than night. Sailors are moving cargo throughout the day hours and occasionally ships carrying passengers will dock here for a few days. Connected to the port is a small market where sailors sell off extra good and some local set up shop to sell to visitors to the island. From here you can sail to damn near any major port in the world.
Various Items Sold
Vial of Soothing Ointment [ J10,000 ] Made from a Stardust Herb and a little magic from a Hunter with the right technique. This ointment will stop any single bleeding wound or burn whether it be from fire or acid. This item has only one use.
Herbalism Kit [ J30,000 ] - [ 20/20 ] A set of items useful to anyone wishing to make various, basic healing items. This kit is often used with techniques the consume herbs or other types of plant. It contains shears, a mortar & pestle, and enough vials to create up to twenty items. Once this kit runs out of uses, it is considered broken and cannot be used or sold. It will be removed from its owner's inventory at the request of a mod.
Medical Kit [ J30,000 ] - [ 10/10 ] A medical kit comes with bandages, antiseptic, and some rejuvenating salves. This Kit can be used to recover 10% of a character's HP. The kit itself has ten uses before it is out of supplies. Once this kit runs out of uses, it is considered broken and cannot be used or sold. It will be removed from its owner's inventory at the request of a mod.
Survival Kit [ J30,000 ] Comes with a sleeping bag, a tent, and two shards of flint for starting a fire. This is one of the most basic kits for survival. When camp has been set up, a character can rest as if they were in a Home Thread, except they only recover 15% of there HP, Stamina, and Aura totals per post. This kit can be used a total of ten times. Once this kit runs out of uses, it is considered broken and cannot be used or sold. It will be removed from its owner's inventory at the request of a mod.
Cooking Kit [ J30,000 ] This kit contains a cutting board, standard chef's knife, a boiling pot, a frying pan, and equipment necessary for setting up a spit for roasting meat. This kit can be used to make food items edible. It can be used a total of 20 times. Once this kit runs out of uses, it is considered broken and cannot be used or sold. It will be removed from its owner's inventory at the request of a mod.
10 Meters of Rope [ J20,000 ] A super sturdy length of rope good for tying these up, rappelling cliff sides, or whatever other creative thing you decide to do with the rope. If more than 600 lbs. are pulling against the rope, it may snap.
Food Stall
Fish FIllet [ J1,000 ] With the use of a cooking kit, this can become edible. Once it becomes edible, it will heal 10% of HP, Stamina, and Aura in a single post, but cannot be used in combat.
Whale Tato [ J1,000 ] A raw potato that is the size of a small melon. Even raw, these spud are delicious, but have a whole new flavor when boiled or baked. Using a cooking kit to boil these potatoes will turn them into a healing item. Once it becomes a healing item, it will heal 10% of HP, Stamina, and Aura in a single post, but cannot be used in combat.
Bottled Water [ J1,500 ] A crystal clear bottle of water that can keep you hydrated all day. Using this item will recover 10% of Stamina and Aura.

Xian Tel [ Blacklist Hunter | Level 1 ]
"Home...It's been a while." Xian was finally back at Whale Island, his home for life until last year when he left to complete his hunter certification. Now, after a few jobs completed and some jenny in the bank, he's come home to show his accomplishments to his uncle. "I'll show you what I've achieved. I hope you'll be proud."
The boat pulled into the harbor and docked. All the passengers were loaded off first so that the crew could start unloading all the cargo. Xian brought no luggage with him so once he got to the docks, he was on his way into the village. Like usual, he chose to walk at a leisurely pace, but in his excitement Xian has a bit of pep in his step. He began to walk a bit more briskly than his usual pace. It had been a year since he'd seen his uncle or old lady Ingrid or anyone else from this place. He felt good to be back and thought best to save the visits for after meeting with his uncle back home in the village.
Yami Matsuoda [ Dangerous Game Specialist | Level 1 Hunter ] Yami finally made his way to edge of the island to where he came across the main port. There was bound to be somebody there with some of that weird ointment that cured bleeding. His clothes were torn pretty badly, but he could spend some time sewing it up later. He limped his way up to the docks, clutching his right arm. After a few minutes of searching, he found exactly what he was searching for. He slapped out J10,000 in front of the shopkeep and swipe a vial of soothing ointment, before making his way towards the tavern. As he traveled, he opened the vial of ointment and started rubbing it into his wounds. They'd be better in the morning after he'd rested.

Yami Matsuoda [ Outlaw Hunter | Level 3 Hunter ] It was a good day to set sail and get the hell off of this stupid island. There was a boat that was going to be docking in Yorknew City next and Yami needed to get on it. He'd find someone worth beating the crap out of once her got there. He knew he'd be able to since it was Yorknew City after all. The whole place was filled with cretins that needed to get turned in. As long Yami was the one to do it, he'd get some decent pay.
The red-headed, foul mouthed man approached the docks and looked around. There was only one ship docked and it seemed that is was being loaded up with freight. That had to be the ship he was looking for. He approached one of the dock workers and asked him about the ship. "Y'all heading for Yorknew?" The worker affirmed this and Yami walked up to the ship. There was another worker stopping him as he wasn't one of the designated passengers of the ship. Yami flashed his Hunter's ID and was swiftly granted passage aboard this vessel. After he boarded, it wasn't much longer until the ship was ready to leave. The captain pulled the ship out from the docks and turned it onto its path to Yorknew City.
