You have been a Hunter and have always been. Sure, last week was the worse hurricane possible, a monumental event that tore away walls of some areas and entirely flooded the basement, first, and second floor dorms. But it was over, and while you might have suffered a huge loss in having no usable clothing at all except the ones you were wearing at that time and maybe some loss of furniture, at least, at least, you are safe.
And really, despite the terrible weather last week, it has not deterred your leads at all. It seems like today they already want a meeting to go over things. Seriously, just look at this text:

Welcome to the WEEK 2: HUNTER SIDE of things. To help you out, please follow the steps. Once done, you are good to go for RP and everything else!
exclaim Just a note that for Week 1, you are allowed to continue PRP/ORP/solo rps and update your journals. You CANNOT take on new jobs (though you can finish and drop existing ones), and you cannot level your Arcana OR gain any more extra clothing for week 1 You can still gain character levels on the minis site through the rps.
gaia_crown[ STEP 1 ] MAKE A WEEK 2 CHARACTER JOURNAL: - Same as last time, just go HERE to make a journal! All character journals no matter what faction exist in the same suforum. If you're using the same character, still make a new one, as they're pretty much "converted over" to this new state.
gaia_crown[ STEP 2 ] READ ABOUT HUNTERS AND PICK A DIVISION FOR YOUR CHARACTER(S): - Go HERE to read the info about what a Hunter is + their divisions! - Go HERE to learn about your current setting (relevant to meta!) for week 2! - CONVERSION IS AS FOLLOWS FOR STAGES: Y1 Student/Horsemen -> Trainee, Y2 Student -> Intermediate Trainee, Y3 Student/ Y2 Horseman/Alumni -> Full Hunter.
gaia_crown[ STEP 3a ] CONVERT YOUR ARCANA. (Skip if you just started week 2) - Go here to convert the Arcana of ONE of your week 1 chars to week 2. All week 1 Arcana OOC bonuses are inactive, and must be taken over by a week 2 character. If you have the same character, just post it to their new week 2 journal.
gaia_crown[ STEP 3b ] CONVERT YOUR CLOTHES. (Skip if you just started week 2) - Go HERE and read the instructions on how to convert clothing.
gaia_crown[ STEP 3c ] NEW QUESTS. - New quests are NOT rolled over. You can just apply them to your new week 2 character. You can check them out here!
gaia_crown[ STEP 3d ] NEW JOBS/ MISSIONS. - Your week 2 characters can participate in missions HERE! This is where JOBS and HUNTER BASES have gone! RP missions/jobs in that subforum!
gaia_crown[ STEP 4 ] DIVISION MEETINGS
- This is where your RP BEGINS. Once you've decided on a division for your character (see step 2), go to the corresponding link below AND RP THERE. Once you've dropped off a small intro post for your character in that thread, feel free to start your orps/prps/solos/etc. You can do that and also rp in those meeting orps as well!
- Each division meeting also has a division assessment, which is part of your WEEK 2 PART 1 STORYLINE.

It is the strangest, most surreal moment, like waking from a game where the game seems more real, more tangible than anything you remember. Where the dream continues, yet your memories extend further than the game itself.
You were a student.
Of course you were, and you remember your school name, Amityville Academy, and you remember enrolling, and learning about Fear, and classes and exams and even the detentions.
You remember that you are not supposed to be a horseman, but you can not remember why you are here. If this is a dream, it is a terrible one, and you can't help but visibly feel remorse linger as thoughts begin to collect.
You were a Horseman.
The correct terms is now "of the Four Clans". To you, being on an island, even the memory of thinking you were a Hunter is an outrage. You, who lived decades, centuries, trapped within the construct of a feeble human mind? You, who have harvested cattle for centuries now stuck in one of them on their festering farm. It isn't just outrage, it is an insult.
You are still in the game.
This isn't real.
You are not a Hunter.
You do not belong here.
But something else wants you to remain.
You think of the game.
There were come cryptic words before you were tossed into this reality, before it took over your senses, your memory, everything that made you you. A voice telling you to play this game. A voice telling you you were a toy. A voice telling you this was a favour.
You think of that voice.
A child's voice? A boy's voice. What had kept you here had belonged to that, the haunting words on your phone screen, on your computer suddenly taking everything over had belonged to him. But there was someone else disrupting him - who, or what was it?
You think of the shadow.
Someone wants you to remember your true memories. Someone wants to get you out. Whether they are your ally or just another fake memory - it is not in your nature to forget.
PART 2 WEEK 2: REALITY SHIFT
Your character HAS TEMPORARILY GAINED BACK ALL THEIR ORIGINAL MEMORIES but is still stuck in the fake virtual reality (think: MATRIX) with the appearance of a Hunter. Their weapon still behaves like an AI, with default scripting and words they say. They're a lot more broken though, and sometimes th͘͞͡ę̸y͏̀ ͜d̛͠ǫ͘ń̕t'̨͘ ҉̷͢m̶a̡͠͝k̷̢e ͟͢s̢͜͝e̸͜͡n̕͢s̨͢e͝. Your character remembers that they are actually a Horseman/Student on top of their fake Hunter memories, but they as of this moment, still trapped on Deus Island. They can't leave, and they can't remember how they got here.
gaia_crown[ QUEST OBJECTIVE ]: Write a quick reaction to the above post. Then, reflect on what is going on, and perhaps, leave a contingency plan for your memory-less self. 24 hours in real time = 1 hour in this virtual world. That means your character actually has 1 IC hour before they return to normal and think they are a Hunter again. Anything they interact with, touch, write on, etc, will remain. They do not ICly know that it is one hour, so what they do in this hour is up to them. You may also create individual PRP/ORP/solos for them of their actions in this time frame!
gaia_star[ WHEN PRPING/ORPING/SOLOS ]: Tag the rp as MemoRP instead of PRP/ ORP so characters know it is of that timeline. You may also choose to write/create a solo instead. When prping/orping, all characters in an MemoRP also have their memories back. If you do not tag it as such, it is assumed they're just a regular "Hunter" again in that RP and everyone should RP in that thread as so. (For THE IC MESSAGING DISCORD, just RP it without the memo stuff, otherwise it gets too confusing + messy timeline wise!)
gaia_crown[ THE ORIGINAL MEMORIES ]: Once again, your character remembers everything about who they are - that is, everything outside of this meta. If they are a quest character, you can make up a backstory for them of what they do in Halloween and what they are/family/ etc. What your character chooses to do now with this knowledge of their old memories is up to them.
gaia_star This is exactly like the Matrix, where they remember their old memories, but still are stuck in this Dusk dream with the appearance of a Hunter.
gaia_star All NPCs etc, still act like the same, without 'remembering' any old memories (if you are rping npcs/interact with NPCs).
gaia_star Yes, you can trash as much things as you want (within the IC ability of your character to trash things).
gaia_crown[ THE TIME LIMIT ]: Again this is 1 IC hour (so infinite OOC time) before they are reset back to normal as "Hunter". That means if two characters are rping in a PRP trying to talk to each other and find a way out, their memories will reset and return them back to "Hunter normal" at the same time, but only on a time of their picking (or you can just solo this, or whatever you prefer).
gaia_crown[ WHEN TIME IS ICly UP ] Your character returns to being stuck in the VR without their true memories, and you may continue PRPs as they are supposed to be. HOWEVER your character can now create a solo and/or PRP where they can interact some of their stuff their memory-regained version has left behind/written/ etc. This is entirely open ended and up to you how you want to do this + with others.
gaia_crown[ TL'DR ] You can now write rps where they remember everything but are stuck in this reality -> but you can also write rps of what happens after they forget again. You can do this in ANY ORDER, meaning you can create some [MEMOrps], some regular rps, some more memorps, etc etc.
