- ➥ While they don't have any powers being a normal human, Darian has skills they can be productive with.
➥ Skilled Marksman :: Darian served the military for five years in total as a sniper: with hard work, they were able to become a very skilled sniper. While there may be snipers out there who were more dangerous than them, Darian is still competent enough to rival with dangerous enemies regardless. Besides, they weren't competitive, anyway.
➥ Trained Fighter :: Self-explanatory. Darian can fight people without any weapon (but sometimes they have a knife). It was part of their training, after all.
➥ Perceptive Tracker :: Tracking is Darian's thing, to begin with. Combined with their perceptiveness and being used to scouting the area as a sniper, Darian is pretty much good at investigating the target's whereabouts... Unless the target cleans their mess and leaves no trace nor evidence. Being a programmer, they're pretty much capable of digging some information they can find. Sure, they can't find everything, but something can be enough for them to be a good lead. Darian's also perceptive in a sense that they were light on their feet and always has a gut feeling. However, they often treat their good gut feeling as a jinx.

- ➥ Being the only non-super in the family, Darian is pretty much unsatisfied whether they have done enough to be productive for the city.
➥ And well... Darian is human, and they'd be lying to say that they didn't have a hard time going toe-to-toe against supers.
➳ How do they act?
- ➥ Darian, unlike their sister Kirsten, isn't a cheerful sort of person. Instead, they are usually jaded even if they didn't let it show that much. That said, they insist to keep themself grounded and focused- all the while making an effort to socialize with the people around them. While Darian can genuinely smile sometimes, they're still hard to read and prone to making sarcastic remarks. Regardless, they still show kindness to the people who deserve it and sometimes they don't really expect to have anything in return but a little bit of respect.
➥ They are surprisingly self-aware and always ready to face responsibility, as Darian doesn't like excuses and thus has great distaste towards people who feel justified with their malicious actions. As a result, they are in return aware that their actions as a vigilante aren't heroic or ideal, but it if means establishing safety for others they'll have to do it. Darian is also intelligent and perceptive; the type to not miss the details and smart enough to look at a different angle while still wanting to be practical. This, however, gets them into trouble as Darian has a tendency to see something they shouldn't have and the problem to "know too much" due to their inquisitive nature.
➳ What's their backstory?
- ➥ Well... I never never knew of my real parents, probably a product of some stupid one-night stand. I was sent to the orphanage when I wasn't even a year old, though living there for about seven years wasn't that bad. Eventually, I was adopted by Jessica del Rosario, who was apparently a superhero who decided to retire so that she could live a normal life. She has good super-strength, though.
➥ I wasn't the only one who was adopted along, there's a girl two years below me named Kirsten. So yes, we grew up as siblings, pretty much to the point that we forgot that we're not related. In our teenage years, Kirsten turned out to be a super like our mom, except she has earth powers. Meanwhile, I'm just an ordinary human with zero powers, so it pretty much made me look like a black sheep at times.
➥ Eventually, Kirsten decided to take a mantle and become the superhero Chicago needed as per usual. Meanwhile, I worked as a Video Game Programmer and I felt like I wasn't doing anything productive. So when I was 24, I decided to apply for military training as a sniper, even if I know that it was never easy. I served the military for six years in total (three years, took 2 years of break, then another three years), but at age 31 I decided to not do it again because it felt like I wasn't doing enough. I mean, if you have a superhero for a sibling and a parent, you would feel like you did less than them so...
➥ The year after that, I came back to my work as a Game Programmer again. Though there's this incident one summer night that happened with my friend when we were camping in the forest. We encountered a serial killer and we almost got ourselves killed, and it didn't help that the killer escaped. My friend is still alive, sure, but he ended up having to use a cane for probably his entire life... And he would have died had the ambulance not arrive on time or well. I can't stand the notion of just waiting around for the police or the superheroes finding criminals like that, so someone had to do it because time doesn't wait.
➥ So, there you have it, I decided to step up and pick a rifle- tracking down criminals whenever I can, especially serial killers. Eventually, I decided to take a few steps forward and decided to sabotage/hijack some small crime operations when I can.
