▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Amaranth Shelley ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

Name: Amaranth Shelley
Age: 24 (as of 2025)
Birthday: April 6th
Sign: Aries
Gemstone: Diamond
Bloodtype: AB+
Fav Food: Butter cookies!
Hated Food: Anything that is really messy to eat, like ribs and hotwings.

Occupation: Florist

Hobbies ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Green-Thumb
Amaranth's name itself is a flower, so it comes as little surprise that she was born with a green-thumb. While being both a florist and botanist, amaranth has made plants her life's work. While not exactly doing most of the scientific work attributed to botanists, she does use what she learned when acquiring her bachelors degree for it in her jo as a florist. that is to say, she's doing more than the average florist when cultivating the plants used in her arrangements. This is because it isn't just her job, or what she went to school for, but her passion. She is living her flower fairy dreams.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Socializing
Amaranth enjoys doing just about anything so long as she has someone to do it with. Cooking, hiking, gossiping, just generally hanging out. she believes things are more fun with someone there to enjoy it with you, and absolutely enjoys platonic interactions with friends and yet-to-be friends. She doesn't need to constantly be around a big group of people, and is just as happy spending one on one time with friends as she is hanging out in a group. Luckily, her less socially-inclined partner understands and respects her social needs, and trusts her ability to plant firm platonic lines.

Virtues ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Whimsical
Some would describe Amaranth as beaming with all the energy (and maybe naivete) of a real life Disney princess without being too much, or laying the enthusiasm on so thick it becomes smothering. She is measured in her whimsy - light and bubbly. Amaranth often seeks to bring a lightheartedness to the table, cracking jokes and puns with casual ease. Along with being creative, she is often seeking opportunities for joy and amusement in even the most mundane situations. Amaranth seems to live in the moment, or at least her own idealized view of it, choosing to maintain a optimistic and carefree demeanor in most situations.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Responsible
Whimsical though she may be, Amaranth also demonstrates a sense of responsibility and self-discipline. She doesn't need someone constantly reminding her of what she needs to do, or deadlines, and can be very nose-to-the-grindstone and independently dependable. It is important to her that she not let others down, and that is the driving force behind her efforts to maintain a reputation as a responsible and dependable adult. She's totally adulting gud.

Flaws ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Idealistic Shield
"The problem with Idealism is that at some point it has to be juxtaposed with true nature of reality."
As a child, when life got hard Amaranth had a tendency to retreat into her imagination. There, she could write herself a different, better, life based on stories and other fictions that shaped her own ideals, instead of the real circumstances or other peoples’ influence. She started using that idealism as a crutch in times of adversity. A shield. A stubborn deflection and a willful distortion of reality. A type of self-gaslighting that has persisted in to her life even today. She has a hard time facing the darker aspects of reality, and when times get tough, she puts up that shield of optimistic, idealistic, denial.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Directionless
Amaranth seems to be drifting through life with no real direction or long term life-goals. While some might understand and even envy he ability to just take life one day a a time, others would disparage her perceived lack of ambition and see it as privileged or laziness. Even Amaranth is sometimes struck by the wave of existential dread when faced with her lack of direction in life. Truth is, she is in a very privileged place in her life where she doesn't have to worry about what the next day brings...at least in the average person sense, and she does often feel quite guilty about it

Senshi of Patchwork

User Image - Blocked by "Display Image" Settings. Click to show.

Attacks ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Basic Attack - Patchwork Thoughts
Targets a single enemy. Target's thought process becomes disjointed and randomly patched together. One thought will connect to a completely unrelated thought, leaving the target struggling to focus on what they are trying to accomplish. Lasts for 25 seconds. Can be used twice per battle.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Super Senshi Attack - Erratic Patchwork Thoughts
Targets a single enemy. Target's thought process becomes more erratically disjointed and randomly patched together. In much more rapid succession one thought will connect to a completely unrelated thought, again leaving the target struggling even more to focus on what they are trying to accomplish. Lasts for 35 seconds. Can be used once per battle.

▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Eternal Senshi Attack - Steins Patchwork Field
The battlefield (20 foot radius around her) takes on a patchworked appearance, but watch your step! Some of the patches are innocent enough, but stepping on the wrong patch can cause the threads to snap back and strike an enemy with what feels like an explosive lashing. The patchwork patterns create a disorienting illusion that can cause vertigo for all enemies within her range. The magic can be used once per battle and lasts for 45 seconds; players can choose to take lasting damage.

Šteins is a non-family asteroid from the main belt's background population. It orbits the Sun mainly between the orbits of Mars and Jupiter.

Steins was shown to be a diamond-shaped asteroid, with dozens of visible craters. The images showed a gaping hole at the south pole of Steins – a large impact crater about 2 km wide and nearly 300 m deep. A chain of several craters runs towards the north pole from this crater, which was given the name "Diamond". Another large crater in the centre of the asteroid is about 650 m wide and 80 m deep and was named "Topaz".

Steins features 23 named craters;
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_craters_on_minor_planets#Steins

A distinct region on the asteroid has been named Chernykh Regio after the discoverer, Nikolai Chernykh.

On 11 May 2012, IAU's Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature announced a naming system for geographical features on Šteins.[18] Inspired by the asteroid's gem-like shape, its crater are given the English-language names of precious stones, with the largest being named Diamond crater

Steins had been classified as a rare E-type asteroid based on its visual and near-infrared spectrum, and its high albedo of about 0.4 at visible wavelengths, meaning that it reflects about 40 percent of the light that strikes it. (For comparison, this is roughly four times more reflective than the Moon.)

Spectral data from the flyby match well with observations made from Earth and confirm that Steins is an E-type asteroid. E-type asteroids have low iron content and surfaces made of iron-poor minerals such as enstatite (magnesium-rich pyroxene), forsterite (magnesium-rich olivine) and feldspar. Further, the OSIRIS data confirm the presence of an unusual and poorly understood absorption feature in Steins' spectrum at a wavelength of 490 nanometers, which some workers attribute to the presence of sulfides. E-type asteroids are linked with a type of meteorite called an aubrite that is theorized to have formed deep within the mantle of a parent body as crystals that settled out of a solidifying body of rock melt at a temperature above 1000 degrees Celsius. Therefore, Steins is likely a chunk from deep within some primordial planetesimal that was blasted apart in a destructive impact.

In September 2008, ESA's spacecraft Rosetta flew by Šteins, making it one of few minor planets ever visited by a spacecraft.

Rosetta scientists believe that Steins was part of a larger differentiated object that had broken up. It was later struck by other objects, creating impact craters. However, the interior is thought to be a rubble pile and the asteroid will eventually break up.
