Some time after helping fend off the massive coiling tree and the snake before it July had gone for a walk. He needed to blow off some steam, and while he could have spent it directly at Jay's side the young man needed a little time to let himself think. His memories seemed so disjointed, ever since the hospital in fact really.

Wandering around, he kept his candle close at hand. Sure the shotgun was a better choice, but he left that strapped to his back for now. He didn't want to waste ammo by being jumpy and accidentally shooting a friendly. Nothing bothered him, so on he went.

It is cut in a medium length that is fairly easy to manage, with bangs just long enough to sweep over a portion of his face. He has two distinctively different eye colors, the left one being silver while the other is a cerulean blue.

July didn't stay, the sound of the creature was enough to send him away from the distortion he thought he saw from the corner of his eye.

Instead he moved elsewhere, with a quickness to his step. He felt safer, the sounds in the darkness and mists weren't making lumbering noises anymore.

July felt the hairs on the back of his neck raise as all at once an overwhelming feeling that brought him to his knees made him scream in agony.

The only thing he could think to do was raise his candle. The flickering flames from it crackled with it's orange fuzzy warmth. There in the darkness, was a figure that was invisible. It was vaguely horse shaped and the horrors it inspired made his scream die in his throat. All the color drained from his face.

Woosh. The breath of air was enough to snuff the candle out. The damage from the light sent it reeling, vanishing as quickly as it had appeared. He hadn't seen really seen it, it was jut the impression the creature gave.

July was left trembling staring into the night with disbelief.

Mob Loot

July was momentarily in too much pain to move. He curled into a ball and held his still pounding head. It was like the life had been sucked out of him. If he really concentrated he could still feel the breath of the thing on his skin. He shivered, picking himself up and stumbling away racing back towards the safety of inside the Mall.

It was just the lingering paranoia he was sure...right? No, that thing had disappeared into the night like it was nothing.
