History: One of two Sandshrews found to be the cause of miniature earthquakes in the canyon just outside Shaymin's Sanctum. Though born into a species of diggers, Choque has never been enthusiastic about the family business. The Sandshrew followed the pilgrimage to the Sanctum, and was immediately enchanted by the beautiful sanctuary. The abundance of flowers, coveted but rare in the dry canyon, cinched Choque's decision to stay.

Personality: Choque is an introvert and a perfectionist, so he can often become too absorbed in his work, neglecting friends and oblivious to whatever might be happening around him. But when he can be pulled away, Choque is sociable, gentle, and generous, and loves spending time with other Pokémon.
