Lorena was still very much blind, but she’d found Durza and Pomelo and she had decided to stick with them through all this ordeal. She was using her umbrella to guide herself and sometimes held onto Pomelo when the way got a bit too hard for her to navigate. Every time Lorena ran into something she felt horrible, she was so sure she would bring the undying to their little group.
“I should never have come out; I am the most useless person out here right now.” She grumbled softly, if they did get attack she would surely die.

She squinted as she topped a hill and spotted Durza and Lorena, so she jogged over with the slightest of smiles. She didn't even have the energy to really wave, but she hoped that they at least noticed her approach and that she was a friendly. They looked about as beat as she probably did, but at least it was quiet. For now.

"Nothing, so far," she answered softly, glancing over at Durza to see if he was alright. Lorena's anxiety was probably mostly from losing her vision; Mel honestly hoped it was only temporary. She wasn't sure how she'd be able to manage through this whole ordeal if her sight was gone, and she certainly didn't want to think of her friends having to suffer as such...

Durza was off balance thanks to the ear damage. He shuffled along with the ladies, nearly shouting, "Speak of the devil and he shall appear." A shambling creature began to approach them all. He elbowed Mel as he pointed it out. "Sorry about saying it so loud, I can't hear you well."

“What? What’s going on?? What do you see?” Panic sets into Lorena, she can hear the creature now, but she can’t see it and that worries her. Clutching her umbrella in both hands she looks around een blind. She will hit anything that even remotely sounds like it is getting close her to, maybe even yell out to the others to get down when she swings so she doesn’t hit them.

She didn't mind Durza's yelling so much, though she felt a sense of panic set in when she saw the undying lurching toward them. She sidestepped Lorena and got in front of her as the creature approached. The woman took her swings, and Mel took the chance to try and get behind the monster. With a cry she slashed, getting a chunk of it and nearly puking at the sight.
A chunk of flesh fell to the floor. Gross.

Durza yelled and Lorena pulled back just a little before letting her umbrella fly. She felt it scratch something, probably causing very minimal damage before something knocked her to the side and she stumbled to the ground.
“Oh god!” She was going to die here, she knew it. She was never going to see Hurby ever again.

She may have been using her left hand but she was managing to hack away at the thing pretty well with her knife. Without it she would probably be dead meat, if she were being honest. Just as she lunged forward and hacked another good chunk of flesh off of it, it lurched toward her and attacked.
It scratched her arm up some, but no real damage. Yet. She looked toward Lorena and Durza, a little frantic, a little worried. Would they get out of this alive?
