Chargestone Cave is a cavernous cave system located just outside of Driftveil City to the south and Mistralton City to the North. The cave's many crystalline formations give off strange electrical impulses. The reaction of the magnetic waves bouncing around inside is similar to those found in Mt. Coronet of Sinnoh and causes Magneton and Nosepass to evolve when trained inside.

Landing outside the cave Simon thanked Noivern and informed him they would be training in here and they would be trying to use the younger Pokemon. However if it came to it he would use Noivern as well. Bobbing his head, ready for a rest and a battle if it came to that Noivern turned red as he was transported into his Pokeball. Inside the cave the first Pokemon he stumbled upon was,"Joltik the attaching Pokemon. Since it can't generate its own electricity, it sticks onto large-bodied Pokemon and absorbs static electricity." Deciding to go ahead and catch this one as well, two Fletching one stone sending Cubone out to battle.

As Joltik's Pokeball whooshed off Simon told Cubone what a great job he had done while healing him up. Cubone was weaker than those in this cave but that didn't falter him as he battled just as hard. Healing him up they were soon attacked by a wild Boldore. After checking out what attacks to use Simon was amazed to see that Cubone's bone attacks would do great against it so Simon nodded as the Pokemon hurled his bone club at the rock Pokemon.

Healing Cubone up with a potion Simon kept him out so that they could fight some more. Suddenly Cubone started to run in circles batting his back with the bone to knock off another wild Joltik. It didn't hurt Cubone but actually tickled him. Wiping the tears from his eyes the giggling subsided and then he got ready to battle this electric tick of a Pokemon.

Cubone was doing wonderfully tossing his bone into the air and catching it. They were known to be normally sad Pokemon, lonely but luckily it seemed that since they were training and he was out with other Pokemon like Noivern Cubone was pretty happy. There was an item called thick club that was able to boost Cubone's attack, maybe they would look for one as another wild Boldore appeared and Cubone got ready to battle.

Another Klink appeared and Simon quickly healed Cubone up as the excited Pokemon rushed into battle. Watching the foe grind the gears together as it charged up the attack Simon wasn't worried as the powered up electric wouldn't effect Cubone at all. Since his attacks would be just as effect as Klink's wasn't effective. There was a quick few rounds as Cubone came out on top.

I wouldn't say a horde of Ferroseed appeared to take on Cubone. It was more like two brothers trying to one up the other. Two Pokemon appeared, both Ferroseed but only one attacked at a time as if they were trying to see which was stronger. Cubone was ready though getting his club ready to knock away attacks and take them on. As they started to fight Simon got a ring on his Pokenav, checking it out there was a status update on people who wanted to trade Pokemon. Someone was looking for a Larvitar offering up a Mareep. Since he used that ground incense to catch an extra one a while ago he pressed on the link to offer it up taking it from his PC to the GTS. Looking at Cubone battling he waited for the reply through the GTS.

There was no real way to tell if his ability was returned since it only really worked in double battles and they never did those. According to the Pokenav fighting Pokemon were weak against psychic moves. That would mean he would have to find out where fighting Pokemon were located. Or they could stay here, Marowak can handle the actual fight, switching Drowzee out so he could watch and gain experience. Deciding that was exactly what he was going to do he looked at Greninja nodded and returned his friend before heading back out into the cave. When a wild Ferroseed appeared Simon sent out Marowak and Drowzee, Drowzee stood beside Simon as Marowak nodded and took the lead.

Thanks to the spikey Pokemon's tackle Marowak was looking worse for wear. That was fine since the potions at Simon's disposal could heal up his wounds. Thanking Simon Marowak walked over to Drowzee and they seem to converse and understand each other. Basically Marowak explained what they were doing and how, eventually, Drowzee would be able to battle on his own. Another Klink appeared and Marowak stepped forward to battle.
