Zero couldn't help but be a little deadpan at the gym leaders' unison speak, not that he'd care for it even if he wasn't tired. "Let's." He replied plainly, sizing up their pokemon. If he remembered right, Lunatone and Solrock were the same type, so any type effective moves would work against both of them. "...Wisp, Ashen, you're up!" Quickly unclipping the two from his belt, Zero released the ghost and dragon from their balls. The light above grew brighter as the Mega Charizard took to the field, and Wisp floated close by.
Now the battle could get underway. Thanks to his Quick Claw, Wisp could move first, so Zero struck first. "Wisp, put the Lunatone to sleep! Wisp locked eyes with the crescent-shaped pokemon, rings coming out from between his large eyes in his opponent's direction. Within seconds, the Lunatone fell into a deep sleep.

Zero raised a brow, but left the twins to whatever they seem to be doing. Now that both of his enemies were unable to move, it was time to take his next shot. "Ashen, Solarbeam at the Solrock!" He shouted. The Charizard flew into the air, absorbing the harsh light as he did. Stopping above the battlefield, the dragon looked down at his target, opening his mouth as a golden ball began to form in his open maw. Almost instantly, the ball exploded in a beam of energy, raining down on the sleeping Solrock for massive damage.
Once the attack had landed, Ashen hovered back down to the ground. "Ashen," Zero chimed, digging something out of his pocket, "catch." He tossed a small, chocolate heart at the Charizard, who snapped it out of the air and swallowed it whole. It wouldn't completely heal him, but Zero hoped it'd be enough to make up for not attacking with Wisp this turn.

Zero was a little relieved that the awakening psychic-type only gave him a taste of his own sleeping medicine. As long as Wisp stayed up, he could keep using Hypnosis as much as he needed. Which he did, of course, putting the Lunatone back under almost immediately. Meanwhile, he he dug yet another item out of his bag. This time, giving Ashen a berry to wake him up. Of course, by the time he was actually able to get the Charizard to swallow it, it was already too late for him to attack.
