End: December 25th, 12:00pm ESTTime to decorate the tree!
For this game, you'll want to roll a 1d20 once a day and match your roll to the chart below. Do NOT delete ANY of your posts, even if you roll the wrong die; just post again! Keep a running tally of your points (we'll double check!) and by the end of the event, whoever has the most ornaments remaining on their tree will be the winner. Good luck, and may the baubles ever sway in your favor!
OUTCOMES
You all start with 3 ornaments on your tree. Keep this in mind when tallying!
1 - You put on 4 ornaments -- but the tree tips and they fall off! In a separate post, roll a 1d4 to see how many you catch! [+1d4]
2 - You move an ornament to the other side of the three for a better balance -- but it slips right off the branch and shatters. [-1]
3 - Heresy! You can still see a green spot on your tree! You cover it with a large ornament. [+1]
4 - So many round ornaments! You artfully add two candy canes. Oh, much better! [+2]
5 - You reach into a box of ornaments without looking and procure two ornaments. Ugh, that one doesn't have a hangy-thingy, though. Back it goes. [+1]
6 - You turn to add more ornaments -- and butt-bump the tree. Two ornaments crash to the ground. [-2]
7 - In a moment of zen-like focus, you decide to hang up as many ornaments as you can in 4 seconds...because why not? Roll a 1d4 in a separate post to see how many you hang up! [+1d4]
8 - The spirit moves you to add another bauble. In the middle of dinner. [+1]
9 - The candy cane you were putting on the tree breaks at the curve. Well, one more for mixing into hot cocoa. [-1]
10 - You're on the phone and decide that from the angle your head is tilted, that ornament is really ugly. You take it down. [-1]
11 - You add an ornament to the tree. It looks so lonely, hanging there...so you add another. [+2]
12 - You open your door to go out and an errant gust of north wind knocks an ornament down. [-1] Roll again!
13 - You're a bit over excited, and put too many ornaments on a single bough. It bends to relieve the weight. Roll a 1d4 in a separate post to see how many fall off and break. [-1d4]
14 - It's warm and cheery inside - but could do with a bit more cheer. You hang up two more ornaments for that extra sparkle. [+2]
15 - A storm rolls through, knocking out your power. In your blind groping to find a candle, you hear some ornaments crash to the ground. [-2]
16 - It was a bad day. You take it out on the ugliest ornament you have. Bah humbug. [-1]
17 - Your friends gave you an early Christmas present: a brand new shiny ornament! To the true it goes! [+1]
18 - You're feeling dangerous. You live on the edge. You add not just an ornament, but a candy cane too. [+2]
19 - Your cat knocked down some of the ornaments in a bid to climb the tree. Don't have a cat? Then why are you climbing the tree? [-3]
20 - Needs more shinies. Stuffing your hands in the ornament box, you put up whatever you pull out. In a separate post, roll a 1d4 to see how many ornaments you retrieve. [+1d4]
NOTE: If you roll a number that potentially takes away more ornaments than you have, you do not go into the negatives, you will remain at 0.

BONUS! If you want to see how ridiculous amazing your tree would look with all those ornaments, well, this is your chance! Aric Val has provided us with decals that you can decorate and match your tally with. You're welcome to make your own if you want to follow along, or use the provided graphics. Have fun!
