-[Golden Valley Stables]- A young woman greets you at the gates: "Welcome to Golden Valley Stables! My names Sueno, ye can call me Sue iffn ye want. Take yer time to look around. Iffn ye need help, myself or Milan, my partner, can help ye!" Beyond the gates lies a deep valley containing a small pond and bubbling brook down the middle. To the east is a wide grassy field that ends in light woods as the valley walls steepen into mountains. Westward is more rocky grounds that end at a cliff wall. North and before you lie the ranch buildings and huge pens for training, taming and exercise. The buildings are a mix of rustic and modern; stone and wood forming elegant quiet buildings surrounded by a garden and small orchard. The horses are allowed to run free in a herd unless they are expecting, ready to breed, or in training. Large dogs also abound on this ranch, with a few half feral cats in the barns and one very pampered overfed female that rules over the main house. GVS is associated with the Gold Mountain racetrack that hosts the Golden Stakes every year as the first race of the year January 3 and 4th! They're very close by and Sueno hopes her Stable will be a winner on their home track! (Sueno happens to be a Farmer/Rancher from another guild who is the only one of my many OC's who look remotely human XD I felt that she would love to be a simple human rancher who breeds and races horses as a break from her more dangerous animal training!)

-[Stable's Staff]- Sueno Col: Owner of the Stables. Female, Single. Sueno is a young woman in her mid 20's who's dream of owning a ranch is being realized. She has pale skin that burns easily, cream colored hair and blue eyes.
Milan Koizumi: In charge of the breeding. Male, Single. A tall lean man with dark skin and long silky black hair with a saucy grin who loves to flirt with Sueno. Mid 30's and ripped. He spends most his free time either in a small gym he's built near the stables, playing video games, or pestering Sueno. He is of African and Japaneses decent.
Pelron Koizumi: Jockey. Male, Dating. A small man, he is the younger brother of Milan. Tanned skin with tight kinked black hair. He keeps his hair cropped short. He is of African and Japaneses decent. Mother is African, Father is Japanese. His girlfriend is a interior designer and they've been on rocky terms for a bit due to the distance and him being absorbed in racing.
Jockey to: Acorn Mountain.
Leala O'reagan: Jockey. Female, Married. A tiny woman with bright red hair and brown eyes. Married and with two young kids and in her late 30's, she has been racing for a long time. Just recently they moved out to Golden Valley to become a permanent feature of the stables; her family now lives on the Ranch and helps Sueno with the chores and caring for the horses. She is of Irish decent.
Jockey to: Makea Muta.
Rashmika Deshpande: Jockey, Female, Single. A recent addition to the ranch, Rashmika decided to join after seeing Acorn Mountain's good showing in the Twin Oaks Derby (winter 2014). A small Hindu woman in her early 20's she is eagerly awaiting the expansion of the Stables so she can race. She's also been eyeing Pelron...

Within the main house off tot he side of the front room is a room filled with pictures. Pictures of horses training, in the fields, and racing. Most of the pictures are not professional, though a few of them are. These are in special frames and quite large, standing in places of honor. -[Bookkeeping]-
The main house's entrance hallway has a door half way down it that leads to a small room with huge windows looking over the training pens. In this small room is Sueno's office. Here she keeps all written records and does her book keeping. She has a simple large chestnut desk and along one wall is a shelf that's half empty. It holds records and log books. Another wall is filled with filing cabinets; here she stashes her accounts, official papers, and certificates.

-[Notes on Racing]-
In a folder that Milan keeps stashed in his room, is a bunch of notes and records on the races he watches. Notes on performance, notes on horse and jockey behavior, and his thoughts. Acorn: Does best in 8 or less furlongs. Seems to do best when he takes the lead from the start... but if others pass him he seems to taper off and gets disheartened. Keep away from Keme Mahkah! Acorn has ended up starting second behind him.. and fallen behind both times!
