Pulling up to their respective assigned stalls which is farthest away from other stalls because the sisters prefers to keep their horses separated from others and due to the fact that Rhiannon scares people, Rhiannon slides out of the driver's seat and moves around to the horse trailer holding all of their horses, including pregnant mare. Guiding each horses to a pen where they could stretch their legs out, the woman's golden eyes moves toward the main stables where other racers will be located and she already could see that a crowd is starting to come in and she leans against the fence, looking back at the horses in the pen.
The jockeys that are part of Shadow's Hollow Stables starts to arrive in steady streams and stops by to talk with Rhiannon for instructions before they head off to get changed and get their respective horses ready. Rhiannon yawns little bit as her eyes moves toward the pregnant mare that is nestled against her mate whom will be racing in 2nd race and she smiles little bit to herself. When they were loading up the trailer, Lucia refused to get in unless Raya is in there and caused so much ruckus (and almost injuring one of the workers) so they had no choice to but to bring Raya along.
Her eyes moves from the female mated pair to others that are trotting around and warming up because they all know they are going to be racing today, she sighs lightly as she knows that her sister will come around when she's done with things she needed to do like registering them. Feeling a nudge against her shoulder, Rhiannon glances over her shoulder to see a large smoky black stallion and she grins, turning around to give him some pets and loving. "Hey boy... You ready for your spotlight?" She fondly says as she rubs his neck.

Tess gave Lady's neck one last rub before her jockey urged the white and chestnut mare towards the starting gates. This would be her horse's first race, and she was eager to see how Painted Lady performed.
She ran over to the stands, and found her spot in the owner's seats. This part was newly built, as was a lot of White Garden Tracks. After her grandfather had passed, the family didn't have the means to maintain the once prestigious racing tracks, and it fell into ruin. Selling it was the best they could come by, and she was glad to see it in use again. At least she could still stop by to watch whenever she had time, since their house and stables was just across the pond.
Lady was running in the #7 spot of this race, and Tess watched eagerly as each horse entered into the gates.

"Welcome racing enthusiasts to the first race of the day here at White Garden Tracks," the announcer's voice blared over the loudspeaker as he announced the lineup for the first race:

3. White Knight of Alpine Meadows
4. Rook of Forest by the Sea
5. Sidewinder Fire of Rattlesnake Downs
6. Clever Calvary of Mirror Mist Stables

"The horses are loaded into the starting gates, and the race will begin any second now. The track looks sloppy today, and none of these horses have performed on a wet track before. Let's see how this affects the outcome of this exciting race."

The Break
"And they're off! Clever Calvary has taken the early lead, followed by Painted Lady and Makea Muta. Ciaran and Rook are tied for fourth place, but close behind is Sidewinder Fire. White Knight brings up the rear.

The First Stretch
Clever Calvary creates an even bigger lead for himself ahead of Painted Lady. Ciaran has managed to pass Makea Muta to take the third place. Makea Muta is in fourth so far, but Rook and Sidewinder Fire are tied a length behind her. White Knight is still in last, but he has shown a burst of speed in the end of his previous race.

The Pace
While Clever Calvary has a decent lead over the rest, the pace of the race is still average. It will defiantly be a show between the leaders keeping their lead and the others sprinting for first.

The Turn
In the turn, the positioning seems to stay the same. However, Painted Lady and Ciaran has created more of a gap between them and the others. Rook has moved slightly ahead of Sidewinder Fire, and White Knight has started to close the distance between the rest.

The Final Stretch
As they race down the final stretch of track, Painted Lady has started to close the gap between her and Clever Calvary, with Ciaran very close behind. Makea Muta follows him. Between the second bunch, Rook has taken the lead, but White Knight has rushed behind her from the rear. He his closely followed by Sidewinder Fire. Painted Lady presses ahead, and manages to finish a 1/2 length ahead of the others. Ciaran and Clever Calvary cross the wire at the same time, and we'll have to look at the photos to determine who got second place. Makea Muta takes fourth, followed by White Knight. He did manage to move forward several places, but the pace wasn't fast enough to tire out the leaders. Rook takes sixth place, and seventh is Sidewinder Fire.
