It's hard to jump in to a new shop, and we want all our newbies to feel welcome and to help everyone connect on a more personal level. To that end, we want to pair up newbies with oldies to help get you a jump start into RPing! These will count as private roleplays (PRP) since it's one on one.
Newbies should have owned their first character for less than a month or have never roleplayed with any character before.
Veterans should have owned their character for more than a month.
Newbies can post two times, one for each available prompt. Veterans can help as many newbies as they want.
Newbies, post this form:
Lets explore the city together!
Character: (link to your journal)
Prompt: (cherries or ice? See prompts below)

- If someone quotes your post, please edit to say who you're RPing with, that way we can make sure no one is skipped over.
Veterans, quote a newbie with this form:
I'll go with you!

█ ▌Prompts
Breaking ice
Snowcones are insanely popular in the summer, but also particularly hard to come by considering the lack of freezers. Some nobles can afford proper storage of giant blocks of ice to use, but for the general populace? Not so much.
One of the local chefs wants to create a summer time treat to reminisce over the lack of shaved ice, and needs two part time workers to help invent a tasty new dish that either visually looks like a snowcone or tastes similar to it. How well do you get along with your new coworker? What do you use to create the dish? How do people like it?

Picking cherries
Farming is an essential part of survival, and harvest season creates a need for temporary workers. The cherry trees are particularly bountiful, so grab a basket and some gloves and help pop cherries off trees. What things do you talk about with your coworker along the way? What troubles do you come across on the job?
