This tome instructs the user in tapping into the natural energies of earth and rock. When mastered, this spell imbues the surrounding battle area with increased receptivity to earth magic. All gaili spells cost 5 less energy for 5 turns (this applies to every gaili spell cast on the current battlefield, ally or foe).

This tome enables the caster to grip into the finer tuned points of the earth: manipulating the dust particles themselves. When mastered, this spell allows the user to draw up the earth around them and create dust clouds at will, interfering with their opponent’s sight and accuracy. Decreases opponent’s accuracy die roll by 10 for three turns.

~Honoka~
-Name:Honoka 和花 -Meaning:Japanese: 和 (hono) "harmony" (using an obscure nanori reading) and 花 (ka) "flower". Very often it is written ほのか using the hiragana writing system. -Birthday: -Age:Orakoir - 6-7 years (current) Orakoi - Newborn - 2 years -Sex:Female
-Hair Color:Olive Green -Eye Color:Crimson Red -Skin Color:Dark Goldenrod
-Description:Orakoir: Asside from being bigger, Honoka has some additional markings along her back that are black spots with green coloring around it. These give way to green dots along her lower back and tail. Her initial horns grown, they acquired green stripes, and her two newer, smaller horns have green tips, both with the same earth brown base.
Orakoi: Dark golden skin with light olive green underbelly and wings, her dark gold color on the bones of the wings. Markings on her consist of same olive green lines with black dots. Spots on her head and tail are the same color of green as her underbelly and wings. Her eyes are a ruby red, with one black streak highlight and one green. Two small earth brown horns are on her head each with a hint of green strips.
-Personality:
-Likes:Shiny objects: While she doesn't have the urge to steal these things, she does like finding the bits and pieces of flotsam when in the fields with Avani or other ranch hands. Because of this, she loves to go and help out when Avani cleans the apple orchard, or is digging a new garden.
Round pebbles: She likes to also find smooth round pebbles when planting new crops. She is always first to volunteer to help clean out the fields before planting, and going on trips to the beach. When at the beach, she loves to find driftwood too. She has made a nest in the house Avani built for her with mostly rounded and smoothed driftwood from Lake Tyluafel and the surrounding shores of Serenia
She also loves the sweet food Avani and her family makes. Her adoptive grandfather sneaks her sheron strips whenever possible, and always saves a rare piece of sheron for her when there is a family cookout.
-Dislikes:Honoka likes most things in life. Very few things upset her to the point of disliking something.
However she absolutely abhors broccoli.
She hates narrow minded people, especially people who find it an abomination that a feral khehora is allowed around a sheorn and leklon ranch unchecked. Along with this point she also hates narrow minded khehora and dragons who think she is unworthy to be a khehora because of the upbringing she had in a two-legger world.
She hates theves who steal for personal gain, and hates going out to hunt things just because she can.
-Strengths:Honoka is extremely loyal and would do anything for her adoptive family. Though she is at time treated with wariness by the ranch hands because she is a khehora, a feral one at that, but when Avani is by her side, she can do all she can for her adoptive mother. As she grows older, she will leave Avani's side for longer periods at a time, though she knows Avani and her share a bond of love that is stronger than the magic in the whole world.
-Weaknesses:Honoka is a klutz. Even as a young Orakoi she trips and falls over her own feet. Sometimes during a battle, she will trip and end up doing something she didn't want to, most of the time it seems to work in her favor. As she grows, her accident proneness changes into an "almost accident", mostly when she is not battling. But sometimes she has the odd accident during battle, resulting in the fight taking longer than normal.
She has trouble stopping if she is moving too fast. She loves to run and play, but when she tries to stop, she ends up ether stumbling, or tripping and rolling over herself. She doesn't mind this, and shakes herself off with a smile on her face. You know Honoka is around if you hear a large crash in the area and are expecting her.
She has a rather long sweet tooth, and is frequently caught snatching her Grandmama and Avani's sweet cakes when they bake them. With her clumsiness, sometimes it ends up more on her face as she getting away than in her stomach.
Because she was born a feral Khehora, she finds it hard to deal with average Magescans, especially farmers. This is mostly due to their distrust in the fact wild, non Magescan raised khehroa tend to raid the farms.
-Quirks:She loves round smooth things, and has a rather large pebble collection in her nesting house. She also loves shiny things and has a large collection of objects she found while helping Avani out in the fields.
-Fears:She fears not being able to fit in with any wild feral Khehoras due to her upbringing in a two-legger household. She knows many more two-leggers than most of the wild ones near her house, but is still shunned by most of the locals because of her non bonded status with Avani.
She also fears this could get not only her in trouble, but Avani too because she loves Honoka as if she was a two-legger instead of a Khehora.
-History:Unknowen to her, she was the offspring of a Diabli father named Krushji and Gaili Alihora mother named Diadamine, who were killed in battle. Her father killed by a monster, and her mother killed by her adoptive father in a mercy killing because injuries sustained while protecting her clutch.
Her egg was given to Avani by her adoptive father Oblivion, without the knowledge to her adoptive father Samael. As far as Samael knows, she is with Oblivion's mother, yet when he finds out that she is really not, Oblivio had hell to pay indeed.
The reason Oblivion gave Honoka's egg to Avani was, in her own words, because three eggs were too much for the two adoptive parents at once, and Oblivion knew that she would be safe with Avani on Serenia.
She has two clutchmates, Vazarri, her big vain sister, and Kekeovonnai her curious and creative little brother. Both are unknown to her and will meet them later.
Avani and Nix were the first people Honoka saw when she hatched. She immediately attached herself to Avani, and follows her around everywhere. She hates it when her "Mama" leaves her at home, even if her "grandparents" are there with her.
During the Mara fiasco, Honoka met two khehora who were a lot bigger than her! But then again, she was a baby and everybody was bigger than her. One was blue and green and the other white and green with feathers. She loved trying to bite the feathers off of this one when she was left alone for a few moments without Avani around.
After that she was taken to another house where there were so many people who played with her! Though it was only for a few days, Honoka enjoyed the attention, never knowing how much she helped Shenra's brothers and sisters relax during the siege on their home in the Ashen City.
5 years later after the Mara event, Honoka moved from her grandparent's house to a house her mama had built. It was so much more comfortable with large spaces that she could move around easily in. Mama said that she built it with her in mind, and that she was welcome to make it her home for as long as she wished... Whatever that meant.

-Avani (Mama):Avani was the first person Honoka saw, and she immediately loved her. Honoka will do what her mother says, but a kid has to have fun sometime! Avani loves her khehora charge as if she were her own child. Good practice for her when she does have babies of her own!

-Nix:Avani's pet fea, she was also there when Honoka was hatched. She tries to teach the little khehora the difference between play and work, but until Honoka gets older, the lessons are lost.
-Grandpapa Talmei:Avani's father. Though Honoka came as a great surprise when he first heard of Avani having a khehora egg, he loves the little khehora as he would a real grandchild. He also spoiles her like one too.
-Grandmama Maiika:Though wondering how Avani came by Honoka's egg, she has accepted her as part of the family and keeps an eye on her when she can't accompany Avani out in the fields. Miiaka also loves to sing the little one to sleep whenever she can, and will rarely admit to loving the khehora as if she was one of her own grandchildren.

** Learning RPs are when Orakoir are learning the ways of their magical abilities. Taught by the help of either their Bonded partner or a fellow Khehora or mentor, these learning RPs will help them master their abilities as a Khehora and help them achieve the full potential of being a Khehora. One must be a power learning RP. Whilst the other can be more geared towards anything, whether it be a secondary power learning, or teaching them more about the ways of Magesc and their humanoid counterparts. Either way, two Learning RPs must be done for a Orakoir's growth.
*** The Growth Ritual consists of a few things. One must have at least one Dragon Soul orb of their type if they want to be more humanoid (ie: Anodyne). If one does not have a Dragon Soul orb of their type, or doesn't want to obtain one, they can use any other type resulting in a more reptilian appearance (ie: Rhazes). The ritual is spelled out more in both the Guide to the World of Magesc and Battler's Path threads. For the Civilian Path, the route to the Ritual is paved a bit differently. Seek out the Civilian Path thread on more information about Khehorian Transformation through their eyes.
