She needed help, someone to take her out of here, out of this place. The need was overwhelming even though Harland had explained so much to her already, she couldn't help but have that sinking feeling that so many things were still left unsaid. The uneasy feel of the unknown made it difficult for her to embrace the situation fully, but she understood now that at least they weren't trying to purposefully hurt her, that this was a once in a life time chance. She knew that if it was real, it was kind of a big deal, for her to prove many things and all she needed to do was take the first step.
But still....
As pieces of memory assaulted her mind her balance was thrown off and she stumbled towards the entrance of the cove, hand clutching tight to the blanket around her shoulders for a sense of comfort and security. Descending down the steps she took in a deep breath of the stale air around, trying to build nerve so that she could go and find her weapon. Find a weapon, one that apparently had a soul even, blues wavered in confidence at her own thoughts. "I feel so cr-" A shock to her systems, a chill up her spine and a pause in her step had Lilac's words falling short so that a single whisper could echo up from below.《☢ Relax, baby, here we all are crazy...》The whisper of baby made her wrinkle her nose, it felt sleezy, like the kind of pet name a drunk at the bar would give. "...H-hello? ..Is someone in here, I'm sorry I didn't mean to interrupt anything, just I was told to come in here and find a weapon?-" Lilac sighed at her own words, imagining just how crazy she probably sounded to whoever was at the end of the steps. Reaching the bottom she squinted into the barely lit room, trying her best to pinpoint where the voice came from. Slightly widened eyes were frantically scanning the small room as she took a further step in, running from the torch on the wall to the strange glowing stone tablets. It wasn't until a deep fright started to set in and she touched one of the tablets on the wall that the whisper came again.《☢Aprulz, but...I'm not a someone, I'm your weapon..stupid.》 The last part of the disembodied words were filled with a strong distaste. So strong she nearly felt the urge to apologize to it but on a held breath she shook her head and let out a bitter laugh. This was all kind of annoying really, she mused inwardly on a slip of hand and a finger of a bright blue glowing design of what appeared to be a sword.
"Well then, Aprulz...where are you?" Her head craned to peer over the area again, just to make sure someone wasn't in here with her or that there weren't any speakers on the walls. But it was clear after the glance that there was no one in here with her, at least no one that that could be seen. She couldn't see, but the voice, it was there. On sharp rise of chest and clutch of shaky hands she moved further down the wall. The toxic idea of her family diagnosed mental illness coming back on a release of breath, leaving her near tears and hyperventilation. The thought lingering of if she could just be imagining this, if her mind could produce something so real. Lilac closed her eyes to try to calm down, reminding herself in a slow mental chant that Harland had mentioned voices ...telling herself she wasn't crazy.《☢Enough!.... Knock that s**t off and follow me down..》
A deep, loud humming started up after the last whisper. One that had her hands coming up to cup around her ears in attempts to drown it out a bit. Down. It had said down, on a glance towards the bottom of the wall her gaze was caught by a beautiful glow of white, red and light blue.
The humming noise got louder and on cue her gaze and when she reached for the tablet, fingers barely brushing the surface the voice rang clear no longer a mere whisper. It's disgruntled tone a bit shocking, though at the same time inspiring.《☢Take me. You can do that much right? ..》 The angry tone, while frustrating and berating, made her want to please it. Slowly her fingers pressed and searched for an edge or lip so that she could pull the tablet free. Once a good grip was gained she pulled, hard and ended up falling backwards on her a** in the process. Blanket now pooled on the floor by her she stared in awe as the tablet in her hands materialize into a large beautiful yet cold Bardiche. "Wow..." A worry washed over her as she struggled to stand back up with the weapon, ok so crazy she obviously wasn't, but if it had all been true..how in the world was she suppose to swing this massive thing?《☢You don't have to worry, yet. Wussy, I'll show you around....》While the words of the weapon were still strong with diastase she couldn't help but find comfort in them and even tease the grumpy thing. "Promise?" Though on the tease she started back for the stairs, remembering that Harland was waiting just beyond them to take her outside. Sunshine, fresh air maybe it would do them both good she reasoned on a giggle as Aprulz growled out lowly, 《☢Not much of a choice..not to..》"Perfect!" Giggling she bounded up the steps, all fear, or most of it cast aside now in favor of tacking this thing head on. Now that she knew it was...real, she was excited.《☢Stop running, dumbass.》
