So what you mean to say is that it peeves you when people refuse to use English in what you perceive as a reasoned manner?
To be honest; I don't use many of the newer slang terms, but that doesn't negate their validity. Slang of all sorts, those commonly accepted and understood the world over included, came from some place and I'm quite certain that people were having the same complaints about those as you're bringing now. People are people, some find new uses for words and new words entirely to be a silly thing that only confuses while others find it to bring spice into what would be a dull conversation otherwise.
Besides, s**t's legit anyway.
