Your cache isn't going to alert you to things being 'fresh' because it's not regarding things you have viewed during your visit on this sign-in.

But I never log out crying But if it's not technically the same tab/sign in as Pav said, then it counts it as you logging off, even if you technically haven't. It happens to me and that's just the conclusion I drew and said "meh" with.
